the Home Page has been extended and updated,
and some developments in the theme of beauty,
                its ground and origin, meaning
                                   and value is due.   Ugliness being all but the theme song of the avant-garde,
it is well to consider why it is that they seem so
to wallow in effacing, defacing or defaming
in increasingly cynical indulgence
the good and the beautiful,
as if their very will were that of gods (cf. Ezekiel 28:9).

some 54 new volumes were completed, and since that date,
the total of volumes in the set,

then to 240, in 2016 and 243, including 121 Bulletins, in 2018.
There is a lot to praise in the glorious bounty of the gracious Lord Jesus Christ!

HIS joy is incomparable, based in Himself, filled with truth in a peace which is not portable like an instrument, but potable, that one drinks with refreshing relish.

Happily, since that date there seems to have been much improvement,
though one element remains of concern. Also of no small concern is the contra-biblical astronomical teaching as noted and exposed in items
53 and 93.

July 2018 - June 2019

First there is a matter of intensive biblical search, often taken in diverse extremities, but requiring interpretation of one part of the word of God with all the others in mind.

Thus new we have Bulletins 133 and 134, the latter with

For April 2019, there has been considerable work done in revision News 57 and Bulletin 95, and the volume, Aspects of the Glory of the God of All Grace has been found no longer on the Web and so has been restored with considerable extension to the heart of the love of God and the plight of man, to foreknowledge and truth in Chapter 6. 

This  is an extensive and very wide-ranging chapter of many parts, and a convenient place to open or extend the knowledge of these things, and the solution the Bible presents to what human philosophy has failed to resolve. Praise God that it is His word which accomplishes this feat!

Now comes the simple series listed according to chronological order, for Bulletins. For more detail, see Bulletins.

To May 2021

We now have a series in the foreknowledge, freewill, sovereignty and grace firmament, say rather expanse, and Bulletin 176 is good both for extension and review and 177 is condensed, relatively composite in system and exceedingly short. It also contributes in breadth of coverage in various facets. In April, Bulletin 177 has also been substantially added to with an  important warning and exposition on one  point of intense significance, in an association of terms, with some summary in  this area (arena!). Bulletin 179 covers a common confusion in the realm of 'nature'. 179 deals with the error in terms of biblical doctrine, found in the Larger Catechism.

Bright Light Ch. 9 has also been expanded.
 

To December 2020

Bulletin 105 on predestination and freewill, has been considerably extended.

A new Bulletin on the same topic with emphasis on Calvin and his notable departure in this area, from the biblical teaching, is number 172. A general short coverage in the predestination and freewill domain follows in Bulletin 173, while Bulletin 175 gives attention to matters of scripturally stated divine perspective in this sphere and shows a little more of the beauty of God's work in this field when unbiblical extremes are avoided.

174 covers a potential newspaper letter on current crisis for our land from elements of totalitarian betrayal.

To October 2020

1. In a substantial work, Repent or Perish Ch. 1 has been revised, showing no one and nothing but the actual God of life solves the chronic problem of predestination and freewill, once more. It not only solves it, but has all the essential ingredients, which in the first place, spring from the same reality from Whom we were made.

2. Bulletin one  hundred and sixty four has been extended and essentialised, making two sites newly more comprehensively available in introduction and review in this field.
 

3. Bulletin 170 has been added concerning a fuller and more informative review on Galileo, the astronomer (and broad researcher),  following important if not almost amazing omissions of crucial facts on his informative case, in a magazine. The grim reminder concerning history, Learn from it or repeat it, remains apt.

4. Bulletin One Hundred and Seventy One has been added, dealing with consequential freedoms, the continuing domain of freedom whether or not Christ is accepted as the template of truth and the Creator of life and Word of Eternity.

5. Bible Translation issues relative to Habakkuk 2:13 have been given extensive treatment, adding significantly to the current presentation, and focussing the vast issues involved.

6. Bulletin 172 has been uploaded, a graphic and rather unusual method of approach starting with a babe as a didactic introduction.

7. Bulletin 160 has had important new material added, relating to scientific method, creationism and evolutionism.

 

To September 2020

During September, Bulletin 169 has been added: Religion. This gives a brief survey, overview and method of approaching the topic in various aspects, including two different methods within the Bible Christian field. Sermons for August 30 to September 20 have also been added to the Oral List.

 

To August 2020

In Bulletin 164, extensive revision and addition is posted. A considerable and significant revision of the summary items has been made, and this now becomes very much to the point for a brief introduction to the topic of foreknowledge, predestination and glorification. Its emphasis is this: what does the Bible actually says on this topic, and in what way may it be understood in harmonious totality ?

In addition, Bulletin 147 has with 164 been revised making of both jointly a helpful summary of much to be read along with Predestination and Freewill, examining different facets of the topic, in what  becomes a joint manner.

Bulletin 168, Multiplicity is not our Mother, nor is Nothing our Forbear ,has been made and expanded on the topic of naturalism and invalidity, and scientific method, both of which are extended in application.

This deals with some recent approaches as well as underlying invalidities when
it is imagined that God can be given His marching orders, in a hullabaloo of confusion. To this Bulletin 168 has been added a very short word in contrast to the
imaginative irrelevances, in terms of scientific method, which have been exposed in this Bulletin. It is called, GETTING THINGS STRAIGHT, and is obtainable by hyperlink at the end of main Bulletin,168, and at the link above. This also helps to keep you up to date.

Several new sermons on biblical topics, themes and texts have also been added to the list of audio.

 

To July, 2020

Bulletins 163,164,165,166,167 are now presented.

             As to164: This is now a major work, using numerical  listing,
     on the topic of foreknowledge, predestination and freewill.

            In this format, it enables a relatively quick impact from many aspects,
     and makes apparent the overall harmony in the total biblical presentation
     in this theme.

Several files have been revised.

 

To May, 2020

First, Bulletins 161 and 162 have been added.

The former,
In the Bible, Sovereignty and Liberty are
mixed without collision.

The latter DARWIN,  Excellent Observer,
but in  his major hypothesis and theory,
an almost hopeless logician at basic level.
The topic claims many victims (as in Ephesians 4:17-19).

Secondly, Bulletin 13  has been revised somewhat in format.
Thirdly, Bulletin 157 has been re-edited and has some additions and
fourthly, Bulletin 155 has been usefully extended.

Fifthly, Bulletins 163 and 164 have also be created, the latter on WHO is responsible for sin and why and how, a question long answered in the Bible but challenging the hearts of many who want to blame their Creator rather than the spins and dins and horrific wilful ignorance of man as his world careers like a failed rocket to its ruin. If the West used USSR to help destroy Hitler, destroyer of millions though he was in cruelties all but unimaginable, it has surely paid for the privilege, the grandeur of victory not hiding the cost first of Cold War, including the rape of East Germany, now Chinese warfaring exploits and international instability at a peak.

The letter to the Government relevant Committee re the intended Religion Bill has been received, but the issue has been postponed, apparently because of the virus, possibly till May 2020.

Items six, seven and eight, in May also, are as follows. Bulletins 165 and 166 have been produced, one with an overview on world spiritual history and the other on Neo-Romanism. Bulletin 167 in addition, has been provided on a correlation of Romans 6, Ephesians 2 and Colossians 2.
 

FEBRUARY-MARCH 2020

Bulletins 159 and 160 have been added.

159 is an extensive review and exposition of the basic thrust of Daniel 9:24-27, and contains several new features on this topic: which is well, for here is the most dramatic, long-term, arithmetically concentrated forecast among the prophecies. Many may say more, but this one covers thousands of years to the end of the Age and the institution of the next. Others may give yet more detail, but this incorporates a number of  ultimates in judgment, salvation and time.

160 shows briefly but pointedly how evolutionism as a mode of institution of all things is ludicrous, barren and deceptive, not even a theory to be taken seriously, and
considers 15 omissions in its extravaganzas. Its due by date is now long past, but it should never have been born.

There have also been sundry revisions of various items
from an editing point of view.
 

JANUARY 2020

Bulletin 158 has been added, on Atheism

An approximately 7500 word letter has been sent to the Government, which has been asking for contributions on the Religion Bill topic (due February), and a copy of this letter is on display here. It has many headings which may be briefly consulted. Australia is in huge danger not only of losing religious liberties on several fronts, but accentuating the loss, even in a short time!

 

DECEMBER 2019

A two page Review for the salient points associated with the Epistle to the Romans, which could also be used as an introduction to this student study, has been added. It covers Romans 1-8.
A shorter version of Romans 5-11, is found in the main work.

Bulletins 153, 154 and 155 have been added, entitled in order:

Aspects of the Glory ... Ch. 6, a highly composite presentation with many excerpts in the field of predestination, freewill and various aspects, has been revised and to some degree extended, including such elements as that found at this point,  with which Repent or Perish Ch.2 forms a good reference.

Bulletin One Hundred and Fifty Six is now also available.

Review of approach of  Alfred Whitehead in field of God and Will
It was hoped to include some such treatment in the M.A. but in size it was already several times the norm!
For ease of access, it is included here.

UPDATE: Further an update for Ch. 2 (a) in SMR on light and the 'horizon problem' is included. This deals with the competitive models, their frequent confusion and includes the topic of the CMB, the nearly consistent microwave temperature throughout the visible, material universe, and the failure of the atheist model to solve it. This is placed for perspective in the general Bible Christian Apologetic model presented in this work.

 

NOVEMBER 2019

The coverage in student notes on the Epistle to the Romans has been fine tuned, and this, Paul's central exposition of the Gospel and its correlatives in history is intended to give help to those wanting to get the main thrust of the apostle's  words clear and in memory. In addition, a shorter set of notes for Review purposes for students has been added. It is the Shorter set, the former, the Longer.

Bulletins 151 and 152 have been added, the former on John 14:2 concerning resurrection abodes for use to come, indeed so that "where I am there you may be also." Fascinating is the word: "If it were not so, I would have told you," on which one brings the focus it merits! The latter concerns Ï Corinthians 4:7, "what do you have that you did not receive," and shows this by no means discounts the reality of man as originally made in the image of God.

OCTOBER 2019

Reminder of work on thoughts of Dr Nathaniel Jeanson and Dr J.C. Sanford, the former in Bulletins at 111, 121 both at Logos, Uncreated. incorruptible, Inestimable Ch. 4, and Sanford also at SMR p. 159, and Ch. 2 Section 3, Bulletin 39, 105, Defining Drama 10. This topic is mentioned in the Logos ... Ch.  4 file noted above, one which has been considerably extended on what appears in some respects, the Denton Mark 11 position, though this is not found to relate to any revision of his rejection of micro-mutation methodology. It also cites from the approach in his famed work, Evolution: A Theory in Crisis. The change we appear to find here is treated in Bulletin One Hundred and Fifty, under production early October.

A condensed but extensive coverage of Isaiah 49, in teaching mode, has been added.

ROMANS BIBLE STUDY NOTES, esp. for students, has also been extended to Romans 12, with some reference to 13-16, and made available here.

 

SEPTEMBER 2019

Bulletin 93 , on matters astronomical, has been extended substantially. Earlier bulletins on this theme are found at numbers 93, 57 and 36.

Intensive Bible Study on Isaiah 49 has also been  provided, with
references modern day developments

Further references have been added to the multi-citation Highway of Holiness Ch. 4, re The Marijuana of Philosophy, and the Death of Science. The same has been done to an item on the topic of Predestination and Freewill (Romans 9 Perspective amid the forest of the faith), which augments a major collection of excerpts, by  adding further to its items. Both are now, one on creation, and one on Predestination and Freewill, very useful resources.

JULY 2019

1) The Bulletins 140-146, as displayed in  BULLETINS,  have been presented during June-July, and with them a new Bible Study for Students, rather extensive developmental style notes on this central biblical book, and these are found here.

2) Bulletin 146 in particular, written in part on July 31, combines considerations of the unique method of using biblical premises to resolve the age-old problem of predestination and freewill, with the unique method of Christian Apologetics provided for our site. This is a very important aspect of the presentation given to one and to all, for the glory of the Lord and the emphasis on His commands, provisions and invitations.

Bulletins 99-113 are new.

Bulletin 114 is to be noted in July under the work of June.

In this period, Bulletins 99-113 have been added, including the extensive overview of the chief method articulated and used on this site, dealing with ABC Apologetics (A-Presuppositional Biblical Christian Apologetics), a work of nearly 30,000 words, Bulletin 105 (cf. Secession from Supposition Ch. 9).  The a- here indicates NOT.

This approach dispenses with preliminary presuppositions as a  more radical method, with its own criteria, and has been placed on this site and in use for many years, providing a basic emphasis, enabling one more instrument to  sound in the Christian Apologetic orchestra.  With this element, Bulletin 105 also includes to 2018 scientific updates and extensions, and help in orientation over a broad area. See also 113 dealing with ISRAEL, THE CHURCH AND THE GLORY.

Some of the new bulletins are reviewed below.

1) Bulletin 107 deals with the Conception of Concepts and Commands and their Implications, which is both a necessary and a fascinating factor in Christian Apologetics, no less a fruitful one,  especially in the world of genetics, language and mind. What is the meaning of such terms and what do they imply ?

2) Bulletin 108 deals within the 7th volume*  in this field, with Foreknowledge, Predestination and Eventuation giving a rigorously intensive brevity, to cover aspects rather than delve into details of lesser concern and calibre.

3) Bulletin 109 deals with the presence and propagation of power in the Christian life and focusses on Romans 7 and II Timothy 4 in tracing the parameters and movements which may be found, the lessons to be learned and the wonder to be stirring to admiration  and  worship of the triune God.

4) Bulletin 113 deals with Israel, the Church and the glory, defining biblically a cause of traditional extremes, where some degree of pugnacity needs replacement by adequate reference to every aspect of the Bible on these points, where it is readily  seen that the truth, what the Bible imparts is none of the extreme.

September - November 2017

During October, Bulletins 95-98 have been written, the last being an extensive coverage of mockery and mastery, with much history of the vagaries of vehement history in its unfolding of man's follies and divine grace. Again, the exposition of Philippians 3:10, some 15,000 words in coverage of knowing God, His power and the fellowship of Christ's suffering, covering predestination and foreknowledge, reality and understanding in one overall composite, has received some slight but hopefully helpful revision.

The case for schools in Australia NOT to have their teachers divorced from their purpose (all but self-contradictory in the verbal aspects of ANY business) is      put and the matter exposed, while the LIMITS of the input of the plebiscite is examined in Bulletin Ninety Seven. This is a crucial consideration, since many appear convinced that a yes vote win would mean a virtual re-writing of religion, morality and an implicit disregard of the Constitution of this nation.

In the September period, we have moved from Bulletin 89 to Bulletin 94. A notice has also been placed on p. 2 of The Australian, 5th September, 2017, entitled THE OTHER SIDE, expressly in view of  suppressive dangers in the case before the people, the 'yes' vote pushed hard, and the need to present the other side, for considered voting. Its reference was to http://webwitness.org.au/crisispoint.html, which listed Bulletins 85, 87, 88, to which 90 was later added.

Re Bulletin 93

The heaven and the earth pass away as is shown in multiple statements in the Bible, as in varied themes within it, and systematic presentations. The words of Jesus the Christ, He points out, have total contrast to the heavens and the earth,  in that they NEVER pass away, whereas those bodies and surrounds do. See Bulletins 53 and 93 for details and data.

What is new!

THE MARRIAGE MATTER

New! It is only that by November 7, voting Australians are to finish a plebiscite for counting their views on the enormity of making a thing called 'marriage', by which the genes and God in agreement (not surprising since He made them), to become ready to be destroyed verbally. How is this ?

It is by making it mean something so utterly different, as part of its purvey, as to cover same sex 'marriage', using the term 'marriage' for this phenomenon. For exposure of this potential source of almost endless persecutory attacks by law and high-price lawyers, vote NO is the necessary option.

People seeking this and that will vote, and as usual, some may be seeking money, since it is convenient, and some seem to regard that as the main point in life. Its stoppage certainly was one point when I was forbidden to continue teaching scientific method conscientiously at a tertiary institution, with no grounds for criticism voiced. Instead, I was forbidden to continue such teaching, since of the convenience issue. In vain, I pointed out that universities had in past times often felt that the truth was a masterful element, to be sought with zeal.

That seemed to evoke mirth...

So it goes.

I am wedded to the truth, in Jesus Christ (John 14:6); but no challenge was  made to this or to academic error of any kind, but only to a convenient result for them. When convenience is king, truth cannot be a subject, so I left this shame and departed.
 

THE LIBERTY MATTER

But where will Australia go ? See for this Bulletin 87. See also Bulletin 85 and 88. These are all NEW for August. Bulletins 84 and 86 are also new. The last deals with propagation instead of education, using the occasion of schooling to breach the Constitution, just as the current marriage vote, would do. As shown in Bulletin 87, you don't need to be an expert to see a contradiction, for here possibly impending in November, is one more freedom in arrears, cut out, one more thought control slavery in view (watch those thoughts, for they could lead to words which could lead to legal penalties and have already done so in some areas of belief).

As shown in Bulletin 87, this SORT of thing is not new, but its obviousness and fearless effrontery in discrimination, is new-ish ... Its apparent brashness, though not the first time beliefs have been so handled, is rather raucous. Since God is 'not mocked' (that is, with impunity), this mockery is very dangerous to this nation where freedom in the past was, and in the Constitution is, so valued.

Again, and  closely related in the August 2017 presentations, is the theme that there is a meaninglessness in any statement about a meaningless universe. Thus, in a meaningless model of the universe, relevant here, any statement even to this effect is also meaningless. It cannot escape its own conditions. Such a model cannot even be rationally stated, let alone defended. So this too is  debunked in Bulletin 84, typical of the internal clashes within proposed systems which ignore God. To be very sure, He does not and will not ignore us. Before Him, Sow and wind and reap the whirlwind remains true (Hosea 8:7).

This has been a month of expansion of the Bulletin collection from 73 to 83 inclusive. 82 and 83 provide a sequence on the delusion of evolutionism and a summary of 17 main reasoned points, supplemented by a further set of coverages, in the denunciatory style required, in terms both of fact and methodology. Teaching this fable is an arch index of the degeneration of man as he approaches judgment for perversity of  mind, spirit and body. Having met and endeavoured to ride a really perverse horse on one occasion, I realise what it can entail! Many are the ways of avoiding the issue.

The chief addition this past month has been the following set of Bulletins to summarise, explain, expound, articulate and provide relatively quick coverage of many biblical topics. Below each is described for reference.

In addition, there has been  some helpful revision of other items here and there, not to change the presentation, but to make it improve in expression.

66 deals with the UN and Israel and fascinating reactions from the US Congress and coverage from the Bible.

67 "Freedom Fails" concerns political fixes that foul freedom in Australia and challenge to realise what is happening in this increasingly throw-away land. History has an answer to such hauteur with the founding faith for the Commonwealth Preamble, and the Bible a warning. Why are warning so often ignored as before so many of the increasingly engulfing wars on this growingly grasping globe, where the gifts of God and His salvation have to be despised to earn horror!

68 Here is a survey on phases in the Bible concerning Israel, for there its history is long, millenia and some without labour grow confused. Clarity at the climax is essential for understanding, and for that knowledge OF the Bible. Hence a survey.

69 If there should be condemnation of religious cartoons. it should start with the Koran which misusing the name of Jesus Christ, presents a stripped down version, like describing a man as a worm, a body as a cell, and has a Christ lacking deity, messianic glory, salvation to grant, redemption to impart, in short: a husk for wheat. If this is not a cartoon, then what is! It re-creates by belittling. Though not all cartoons do this, they often tend to specialise in this as a leading characteristic.

It is necessary to be  rational but not rationalistic, nor for that matter, re-creators of history. This (relatively) new-fangled Jesus Christ is not misusing a site on the earth: it is misusing the Saviour. Doing so is a free matter, for He was scorned even on the cross of execution, and we Christians are not afraid of more; however for criticising others for doing so, when this is done and while doing it, is inconsistent. Truth does not grimace at scoffing, but outlasts it. It does not convert by chopping off hands or head, sending to Siberia, or parallel persecution: much more is required, including the testimony of reality (cf. SMR, TMR).

70 What does God Almighty,

revealed for millenia before Muhammad ever spoke,

predicting in detail data of the incarnation of Christ, many centuries before He came,

and millenia before Muhammad came,

just as the latter came centuries after the predicted and fulfilled date for the multitude of famous miracles of Jesus the Christ (Christ the Citadel Ch.2), and His predicted and fulfilled death at the hands of His own nation (Isaiah 49:2), which was so appointed from somewhere about 2000 B.C.

chosen to proclaim Him (Isaiah 43:21, Genesis 28:3-4), a sacrifice for sin (cf. Isaiah 52-55):

 have to offer ?

His revealed nature throughout centuries of history is given precise attention, lest
the forgettery of culture bury the  truth.

A nation may strike Him, but He has stricken death in the wonder of rescued life in the resurrection of His body (Isaiah 26:19, I Corinthians 15), devastating the devil and his followers. This world faces judgment; for those in it, Christ has faced judgment already, and offered in His name only, acquittal (II Timothy 8-12).

71 Truth is a glorious thing, in fact personal and so able to transmit Himself (John 14:6, 8:40). When the revelation fits the facts, answers the queries and shows love as well, then not only the intellectual answer but the personal delight has both application and implications that are truly godly, explaining and providing eternal life. It is time to think, not blink.

72 If you want truth, you need to find the foundation from which the departing and the declining*1 energy availability in this world, logic and law derives, and to demand that to start it all, nothing become productive is worse than infantility: it is mere self-contradiction. It is not a logically operative procedure. In turn, a world without logic is not this one nor is it traceable or stateable even as to its being, being null to reason, evidence, testimony. Logic as before it had no basis to begin, would have no basis for coming back!

God is not an option; just a fact. So is judgment; so is desert; so is evidence; so is salvation where complete logical  coverage alone  is to be found. It is necessary to be empirical,  to open the eyes, and therefore to  LOOK!

May 2017  .Four new members of the Bulletin group have been added

1. One concerns Israel (63), where new waves of hatred and loathing of its industrious, inventive, sensitively cautious society, the only democracy in the Middle East, brand like an evil  rainbow those whose assaults seem in the darkest indigo area, as if Israel had not accepted the very costly proposed peace offers made in  1947 and at Camp David, and its enemies had done so. The reverse is the case, so that in general all that follows lies on the shoulders of those who did this thing, showing themselves, often vocally, insatiable for the destruction of a nation earlier there by multiplied evidence for some thousand years; and they continued until AD 70. In the hands of Egyptians, Turks and various largely  Muslim bodies, Jerusalem after that appears to have had a similar reign period, though not in terms of one nation or people.

One kingdom, that of Israel,  was ancient until Christ; one was more modern, in fits and starts through many peoples, until  1917. For the last hundred years, it has been British or Israeli in occupation or sovereignty. Jerusalem has been subject to Israel since 1967, and partly so for nearly 20 years before that.

During the continued period of Israel's failure as a nation, to receive the Messiah, Jesus Christ of Bethlehem, Son of God, though their Old Testament is full of Him, bristling with the criteria for recognition, for testing, there is thus a twofold operation. God protects the returned nation (as foretold cf. Zechariah 12), will do so as drastically as needed in due course (Micah 7), and at the same time, that same nation is not yet itself reconciled to the Lord who sent the Messiah. What forces therefore are in play, and what destiny awaits as the forces of utter hatred of Israel by many who also refuse the Messiah, try their hand and ferocity even where children are concerned, to the tune of thousands of rockets, hardly a bouquet for citizenship in the prospering kingdom!

God speaks with no brimming enthusiasm for those who try to manage Jerusalem now returned to Israel, and those who are determined to qualify - and even more reduction is scarcely a gift! as opponents.

See in stark outline the actualities of the case, without bothering about stated intentions, and watching actual actions (cf. Isaiah 51:21-23, Micah 7). The divine intention in the face of the Jew-obliterative, Jew-harassment, Jew-emptying or compromising forces is on display in some detail in Micah 7, and makes interesting reading.

A USEFUL SERIES OF REFERENCES WITHIN ITS OWN SPREADING INVESTIGATIONS FROM THE BIBLE AND ANCIENT, CURRENT AND RECENT HISTORY, IS NOW TO BE FOUND AT PURE SPIRITUALITY AND THE GLORY OF THE GOSPEL.

2. A second new Bulletin deals with Predestination, Selection and Volition (61) with a new element added to a biblical observation tour to ensure nothing is missed in this splendid and unique solution to  all the problems of philosophy in the matter. For this, see also the 7th volume on this site, concerning this crucial area, which is Predestination Review.

3. In Pith of Spirituality and Glory of the Gospel, also a new section has been added at this location, on the general topic of 2, above.

4. Minor prophets can have major impacts, as you see in Acts 2 in Peter's use of Joel in his speech concerning the very central realities of Christianity. It is this same prophet which we investigate in new Bulletin  62.

5. In Bulletin 64, there is attention to definition, knowing that pondering and analysing for this purpose can  so collect and collate aspects that we remind ourselves not of the clangour but of the content, and ponder profitably, for this can also lead to illumination as the mind bends itself to the revelation in the presence of the Lord. The topics for definition here are: Life, Light and Design. The last of course is already dealt with in an entire set in this library, at Deity and Design ..., with sections 2 and 8 of delightful challenge, at which the fearful may retreat.

The Bulletin group is now one of 60 members, with the latest challenging Australia to wake up to its self-imposed peril, which like a cat, has a hunger for run-away mice, scattering in diffusion and confusion to every odd twist. It also contains more challenges on those contortions which create illusions back of popular irrationalities, often popularly taught. The process continues like mould in cheese. For a time, some might celebrate the taste ...

The Bulletin group is now 50 strong, and each of the members from 36 to 50 has been given an essential sub-title or description, to enable rapid approach to any field selected. It has been concentrated on certain recent events, news, and by contrast, with in depth analysis, always in the end on a biblical basis, of many challenging topics, for which the Bible ALWAYS gives the articulation or perspective of truth, as nothing else does or can.

Much has been revised, re-drafted, augmented in overview amid these Bulletins, and they may now be more readily used as a kind of Spiritual, Biblical Digest of much that demands attention from the
active mind that will not rest in the ridiculous or the logically effete, any more than in mere retreat from or contempt or  confusion concerning the word of God, that Bible whose coverage stretches back to the initiation of creation.

News items  have likewise been increased.

December 2016 Review

The 241st volume of the work, In Praise of Christ Jesus, is now near to publication, and it may comprise Bulletins.

In addition, there is here a greatly extended, wide-ranging supply of review items, compendia, insights relative to the Biblical text and the text written into man, the designed construction site of the Almighty (now on Bulletin 29).

In particular, Bulletins 12 and 13 are a sequence on Self-Sufficiency and Returning to Logic from De-mented Meanders. They demand change or acknowledgement of a malady of logical misdemeanours so great in the current vogue of mystic naturalism (or evolutionism as it may also be called), as to become a prime example of the misuse of the human will, and its rush in the name of truth, to dismiss it.

Mercy Outdistances Judgment

The as yet unpublished work, Mercy Outdistances Judgment, has been extended by 9 Chapters.

Ch. 17 includes intriguing reference to ALLY,  a work of 2015 written by former Israeli ambassador to the US, Michael B. Oren, which itself is an extraordinary work of exposure of the utterances, plans, equivocations, assaults, faithfulness and unfaithfulness of many in high places, on many sides, over a series of recent years ... a work to notice.

Ch. 9 deals with definitional defilement of Israel, just as 16-17 deal with multi-faceted coverage of such issues, with care. Clarity must not be trounced by truancy from normal literary criteria (cf. Chs. 16-17).

The book specialising in Isaiah, With Heart and Soul, Mind and Strength, has many new references added.

Emphasis is also placed on one major issue of this site, that in it you find a testimony to the reality of the God of the Bible, the Christ of salvation and the word of understanding from God to man, like it or not, in terms of a reason which God Himself has given to man. Ignoring it, like doing so to cancer, is perfectly possible, but a good outcome in the end, as with reality on all sides, is not, as John 3:19,36 affirms.

The first 8 Chapters of Mercy Outdistances Judgment, Volume 236, are now available in a variety of active topics, and surveys, good for up-to-date depiction or relatively concise overview.

               1) Volume 11, Department of Bible and Spiritual Affairs
has now been published, with 21 Chapters.
It is not only a volume helpful  for concentrated review
in various fields, but as the 235th volume
in this theological set, In Praise of Christ Jesus, it appears
the longest such set in history.

That in turn is to be noted since the reason for this is
that it not only deliberately and from  various aspects,
covers regions of Christian evidence and testimony,
as well as the logic and method in view, but seeks
to have a comprehensive account, on the one hand,
and a rationally valid presentation on the other,
both in cogency and and basic topic coverage.

System in this receives highlight in SMR, and TMR,
and coverage in LIGHT DWELLS WITH THE LORD'S CHRIST
over some 2.3 million words as well
as in DEITY AND DESIGN, DESIGNATION AND DESTINY.

That once more has its reasons. First it is good to  demonstrate the glory
of God as a Speaker, Communicator, Presenter to mankind,
exhibiting His indefeasible grounds of testimony,
exposing the goodness
that He has shown, and the actions He has taken.

Secondly, it is good, so to explain and to act as He has done
in Christ Jesus the Lord, and to use every good means
to attest this.

In other words, it is well to exhibit what God has done
and what He has said, to show that
so far from being a motherless
and indeed fatherless child,
man as a renegade, rebel and misfit, clings inordinately
to his status and without reconciliation,
is pleading with God
for the results of such derangement. 

There are strong and cumulative reasons for divine enterprise,
and secondly, is the strong reason in kindness
for His actions (cf. Titus 2-3, Micah 7:18ff., Romans 1-3, Galatians 3-5).

If in education your child were routinely brainwashed
through ludicrous and unempirical intellectual totem polls,
not truth, as to the most important realities of life,
and many in later disciplines,
taught blatant corruptigjon of spirit and life, an odious overlay, 
would you not ... care ? and if many were then sent
to hold up the stakes of dissident, man-based life,
when man has no basis in himself, 
or of some similar kind of thrust and bluster,
then would you not be concerned ?

It is then important  to show this even from man's point of view.

The Gospel, the Bible, the instruction, the release from guilt,
the end of rebellion where it defiles most,
together with the gift of eternal life, this is an inheritance available
(Ephesians 1:1-13, Matthew 23:37, Isaiah 48:15ff.)
which may be shoved aside, with man's responsibility (John 3:16-19)
and divine knowledge (Colossians 1:19ff.) and lament;
but a failure to show its nature and price, both to gain
for man, and to lose it wilfully without acceptance,
warrants ample action.

Volume 11, Department of Bible and Spiritual Affairs, now at 80,000 words is a book especially of review, overview and consolidation. It now has 4 additional Chapters. They range from a close study of Romans 9:1-5, to capture its full extent (14), proceed through an  anti-Bible moral move in this, our land, and its significance (15), on to "Jerusalem Stricken, Restored and Revived," where clarity often seems treated with abhorrence, as are many of the Lord's ways (16), to rest, so far, in a large Chapter 17, which has the following title, in survey of some of the current outcomes, and reason for them enshrined in revelation,  in surging history about us.

CHAPTER 4

              THERE IS NO DEPUTY FOR DESTINY

AND THE DESIGNS OF, IN AND FOR LIFE ARE SURE,

A PARADE OF DEFINITIONAL DESIGN

 So far from design being hard to discern, figure out, define, depict, it is to be found freely from multiple testing definitions of usage, and hence of meaning, in many realms, whether institutional, executive, constitutional, mental, logical, physical; and outrageous efforts to disjoin examples from definitions are mere habilments of confusion, evasion or irrational hope for the hopeless, an enslaving contradiction. Similarly, there is design in the plans of many, and most of all in those of the Lord, who fulfils them and makes them stick as no aircraft designer is ever able to do.

They stick in the case of man, despite the slowly assembling genetic entropy,

	a wear signal in this current world as normal for design,
	in the case of marvellous, minor variabilities (reminding one of optional all-wheel drive in a car, built in to enable useful traction modes),
	in some living designs, in intransigent fixities,
	in the nature of logic both in our own minds and in the rest of the creation as a mode of operation FOR what is made;
	they remain magnificent in some of the cases mentioned by Christ,
	whether mobile or aesthetic or both, they are formulated in words in the Bible, in specific cases as a test provision and historic markers. Indeed, this is what is to be found.
	What God designs and implements (nothing being not so good at it!), happens, whether in realisation, rebuke or remedy.
	Unlike the nations of this world, the Almighty is not in a quiver, quavering, tottering, balancing, changing the balance, becoming unbalanced and destroying much only to moan at resultant impoverishment or curse the God whose works they have defiled, expecting congratulation, only to find desolation.

From creation  to judgment, He marks and demarcates what is to be, and grants opportunity to align. It is at no cost to man. Two things cost greatly: His redemption on the cross, and ignoring it.

 

CHAPTER 5

YOU WHO SNATCH THE MILLENIUM,

DON'T FORGET THE MESSIAH!

You don't have to be quirkish in theology to note the "immediately" in biblical specifications for the millenium; but rather passionately deletive or deleterious as the more modern word goes, not to heed it. It is not for nothing that the assessment is made that for the first 300* years of the New Testament Church, the millenial approach was followed in the main. It is written.

*But for those interested in what various people have said, such as a strange category, the Reformed Traditionalists, who want to make the relative refrain from millenialism on the part of prominent Reformers in the 16th and 17th centuries, for example, the criterion on the matter, there is another element to consider. To be sure such traditionalism is not biblically admissible (Mark 7:7), and it appears an unfortunate run-off from Rome and its ilk. But even if it were, there is a flagrantly interesting point made by Schaff in the same place. Before sketching the views here on the part of a number of very famous early Christian teachers, he makes an overall assessment of the chialastic situation shortly after the time of the apostles, and as it then moved on. it is this (bold added) .

"The most striking point in the ante-Nicene ages is the prominent chiliasm, or millennarianism, that is the belief of a visible reign of Christ in glory on earth with the risen saints for a thousand years, before the general resurrection and judgment. It was indeed not the doctrine of the church embodied in any creed or form of devotion, but a widely current opinion of distinguished teachers, such as Barnabas, Papias, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Methodius, and Lactantius; while Caius, Origen, Dionysius the Great, Eusebius (as afterwards Jerome and Augustin opposed it."

This illustrates the uselessness of trying to make a common denominator on difficult points from consulting statistics; but it DOES show the early preponderance, in times nearer to those of the apostles, of millennarianism, to use Schaff's spelling.

To be sure, many millenialists are dispensational, or have some needlessly limited concepts or are "classic", involving Israel out of the main stream altogether as a sort of post-operative body, but none of this is biblical teaching, and perhaps helps to make some averse to it.

But the word of God remains, as in Matthew 13, as in Mark 7. Romans 11, and its sequences are found not only there, but in Jeremiah 8-10, 33-34, Zechariah 9-13, Isaiah 66, and there is an open door to understanding of the divine wisdom in the entire Bible. In Department of Bible, Vol. 7,
Ch. 2, a common confusion is exposed..

It is necessary to open the eyes.

 

CHAPTER 6

AND THE FIRST SHALL BE LAST!

 Among these, what surpasses His plan of salvation, and in ignominy, interfering with it in mist or contradictory allegory, achieving a sickening confusion, like radiation in a stricken city.

It is so very important NOT to become a devotee of some one theologian, party or name other than that of Jesus the Christ, for if they be 90% astoundingly good, like an infiltrator into a city, they may being in a quite fateful 10%, as it were, as companions of the great man. And the great ? Even Peter was simply "also an  elder" who had a place to fill (I Peter 5).

This applies to things new and old in the history of the Christian Church, and at times the laudatory tendency to which man is so susceptible, can admit a primary enemy of the Church, with a major spiritual infection like Ebola physically which, if not resisted can make the erring body realise that discipline (as in Revelation 1-3) is not an outmoded concept.  Was not Judas one of the first, and is he not one of the last! Was his post not exalted, and is it not dynamically degenerate!

There is, if you will, one sniffer dog which never misses - just release it. It is known as the Bible.

The Reformation teaches at once two lessons: keep that dog active, first, and heed what it says to the point, and secondly, assume nothing, believe the word of God, and realise how many of David's Psalms deal with treachery, as an example. Never worship, moreover, a triumph, but test all things, and that thoroughly.

 

CHAPTER 7
 

THREE GREAT EXCISIONS OF PRECISION

SNIPPED WITHOUT AUTHORITY OF THE WORD OF GOD

Grand as were some of the restored areas of what many had subverted in Biblical Doctrine, and important to sustain this exposure, it is not less to notice trends in terms of which deviations have occurred even in some Reformed circles.

Even in my own life-time, there have been massive entries and treacheries, and even to this day, after exposing some in four churches amid the nations, it is necessary for one to notice some trends which are changing some theological areas rapidly and vapidly. It is a good in-depth challenge, for one of these tends to limit the love of God for those to be lost, another to limit the trustworthiness of God in a simplistic and contra-scriptural fashion and one to harass the creation account with what not only has no biblical warrant, but contradicts every item of evidence. This is rather like taking a self-defining scientific treatise and reading it to a kindergarten.

It ALL  downplays the power and precision of God, at times even turning the fabulous into fables, and the marvellous into man's inventions. Creation however is not one of man's inventions, nor is the word of God concerning it.

The Fabric of Foreknowledge,
The Fathering of Freedom and
The Reality of Love.

Not only is the fruit of divine foreknowledge, biblically defined, fascinating, it reminds one of the grandeur of the majesty of God, surpassing our vast arena of computing knowledge as the sun does an asteroid, and the DNA intricacies as knowledge of mathematics and its principles, a child's slate which in the older days, could  still squeak.

This is a timely occasion to remind that in all our researches and writings over nearly 50 years, including many on this topic, the biblical depiction in theme, depiction and mutual accord in every principle has not only been found uniquely upstanding, unconfused, harmonious and consistent, but delectably so. That is, so vast are the concepts, so grand in tone, calibre and character, that they delight as they function, and induce reverence as they are revealed.

The special field of foreknowledge, predestination, will and understanding is here considered and is a good example.

The short technical failure which our site suffered last week has now been fixed and all sermons are back on line for you.

Department of Bible, Vol. 11, has now been placed at Ch. 4, and continues work of review and application in the field of biblical teaching on the one hand,  and the contortions that seek to escape its enduring presentations on the other.

	We move from the pith of the Council of Chalcedon to
	the popular pity of finding of universes that are not there, as of
	looming international events and the peril of confusing them with what are anti-biblical ideas, thus mixing models like an artist.

Thus, now we have the painter of a tiger leaping, and then on the same space, that of a rose in its scented perfections. It is hard to paint what does not have the goodness either to be there or exhibit itself in any way; but when you dab man's ideas onto discernible reality in the word of God, it becomes merely an excruciatingly grotesque mix-up, a masterpiece of confusion, except for this. It does not reach the heights of working in any way, or meeting empirical criteria. Such is the repeated error found from many, whether in the field of international movements, or universal beginnings.

Biblically it becomes putting someone else's ideas to God's word, and exploding its thoughts into what is under His name; and whether it be He or a merely human agency, given this treatment, this is not the kind work of good repute, or for that matter, any kind of precision.

There are a number of extraneous, but invasive things that can be done when preparing the word of God for what pleases those not God, and attention is given to this type of farrago. As Christ pointed out, it can be the result of tradition (Mark 7:7ff.), of false prophets; and of course, it can be the hidden desires of the heart. In all these cases, what is presented by God in His written word, is not what is presented by man in its name. But very often, the name is not changed. If the name of God be so used, whether on purpose or not, it is like putting cart-wheels on a car. That is not the way it goes; it is not only culpable, but perilous.

There is always time to reflect on all the data, and to avoid re-defining terms, in the midst of clear-cut contexts, ignoring types of context which harmonise with each other in definitive ways and in particular, avoiding
both replacement theology, a kind of cult, on the one hand, and defacement theology, often a kind of vault, on the other. The term "Israel" with various sub-options provides an excellent opportunity for spiritual astigmatism, not for the eye of the head, but for that of the heart.

Chapters 10, 12 and 14 deal with creation, scientific method, collateral conceptions, anithesis, antinomy and the  absurd, Ch. 15 deals with the personal application and its own ramifications and reason, with the purity available to the human heart,  and the proliferations and profligacy to which it becomes vulnerable, without Christ. Ch. 13 gives organisation of data. Ch. 16 meets the topic of distortions and defilement, delight and design, deliverance and obliterative obstinacy of heart (as in II Chronicles 36, prior to Israel's great devastation in A.D. 586). It ponders options that do not work, and truth that alone does in the interests of return to reality.

Ch. 8 considers the callow,  callous and uncalled for substitutions of evil for good, with special  reference to biblical  terminology for contrast purposes, and incisive attestation. Ch. 9 looks at II Peter 1 in terms of the growth of the Christian child, its delightful challenge and makes application to those not so young.

Ch. 11 looks at the incisive and decisive message of Habakkuk with attention to a remarkable translation testimony.

Ch. 13 lists major elements in the institution, destitution, means of deliverance and destiny available for mankind in his country, this present world. Through all the items, there is one spiritual eminence, one Inventor, Preceptor, Creator, one only filled with Wisdom. Capable without limitation, He is loving without shadow (cf. James 1:17, John 3, Colossians 1:19ff.), astute, available, awesome and to the pure He is pure, though to the cunning, continuing their way, He is not forthcoming (Psalm 18:26). Repentance is a prelude and reality is a consequence in the renewed mind of those who find Him, who both died and rose that He might be Lord of all (Romans 14:9).

January 2015

Published in December, are the first 7 Chapters of  Volume 10 of the
Department of Bible and Spiritual Affairs.

This volume tends to summarise or to deal somewhat comprehensively with outlines of its topics.

Ch. 1 deals with a defiled ultimate in some Islamic 'tutoring', a classic in inhumane terrorising even of the very young, to make for conformity to what is neither understood or wanted.

Ch. 2 deals with an opposite, creation, where wonders are laid down. Is there a "Reformed" position on creation ? It is sad that the Reformation, having done a ton of good, and correction, then comes to be regarded, like the snake on a pole symbol used to conquer a plague by divine authorisation in the days of Moses, almost as an object of worship itself! Thus the deliverance becomes a new debauch! Sadly unsound developments in this field are exposed, and contrasted with biblical accuracy and seen in their doctrinal divestment re-run, in much one more escape into clouded, illicit and man-made confusion of his own ideas with the word of God. That is common on all sides, a virtual theological pandemic, this being no exception.

Ch.3 looks succinctly at the findings of one's labour since 1988, in this theological work, now a set of some 232 volumes, specialising in Biblical Christian Apologetics. Thus in particular, it is well worth noting that the demonstrability of the truth and source in Almighty God of the Bible as His sole, authorised and written testimony to man is confirmed on all  sides, as is its inexhaustible capacity to provide basis/data for each challenge or  opportunity that arises, so that no problem in principle remains for its resolving power as in this light, one examines the nature of life and of being.

It is this completely provided power at this level which would be stunning, if one had not already by His grace been caused to wake up to the glory of His presentation, first in His written word then in His living Word, Jesus Christ. The word of God written and living, is not only light, but a penetrating resolving dynamic in stature, overview and principle, issues resolved before it through its wisdom, as light puts out darkness.

Ch. 4, which goes with our 2015 Calendar provides a short but well documented coverage of some basic themes facing man at this period of history, their biblical basis and meaning.

Ch. 5 deals with the sheer, sustained dynamic of the historical Jesus Christ, in accord with His status as deity, sent forth on mission from the trinity as in Isaiah 48:15ff., and Psalm 40, and of course John 3, Hosea 13 and Ezekiel 34. Let us be empirical, let us consider both what might be expected of incarnate deity, once only for stated purposes, exhibited in human form to man with confirming data in prophecy and history; and let us THEN marvel at the sheer exuberance of that display, unique to such a sending from such a source.

By contrast, the naturalistic myth which has our limited but real dynamics even as ordinary humans and mortals, to be based on nothing (often in nugatory and nebulous fashion made an exercise in the wonders of nullity given other names): this is the opposite. Just ask for ANY exhibition of definable uniqueness from THAT side, and there is NEVER ONE empirical answer. Nothing is just as much on display in the way of observable evidence as in the source which ine one way or another,  it is given for all. It is all an exercise in what is not there, nor given any sustainable name, as an explanation for what is. This is the ultimate in the unscientific, the opposite of reasoning from evidence to cause.

The only multiplicity is of excuses at NON-PERFORMANCE, non visibility, where imagination replaces experimentation, and floating ideas supplant testable laws and logical validity, excluding any form of rationality. Vagueness becomes a virtual god, and observation a non-event. As cited of Professors Lewontin and Dawkins, in the USA and Britain, fixed ideas replace and ignore actual events (the former in asserting a philosophic basis of his choosing above fact, and the latter in having things to be "observed ... though they do not happen when one is there!

The contrast when what IS sufficient is the eternal basis (not needing to pop up or in from nowhere from time to time in the field of imagination), is total, making the naturalistic myth of organic evolution as much a comedy, as was 'The Bourgeois Gentilhomme' by Molière, ever was.

Ch. 6 deals with the Christmas theme, the Babe and the Belligerents, taken through a murderous period of extended history. God, the Creator, has His way for man and man has his various deviations, and this is applied to questions of immigration, tradition, mobility of culture and intimidatory follies through misuse of terms, granting evacuation of Christianity from peoples who have not sought this.

The God of the Bible is not a witless or utterly different imagination, but the Creator of logic in the mind of man, as in the universe outside him, as in the Book of instruction sent, one God, one logic, one testimony without rational competition. Lightly to discard it is like taking arsenic experimentally.

Ch. 7

This Chapter is exceedingly extensive in its cover of divine mercy in heart, history and holiness, as in its concentration on the love of God in its depth and action, and shines the light of the word of God into various features with particular foci of fascinating and stirring kind. It is indeed a REVIEW Chapter. The spectacular sovereignty of God and liberty granted to man are seen in their relationship, neither aborted, both uniquely defined in the Bible, itself the source of every comprehensive resolution of man's confused ramblings amid antithesis, antinomy and question begging, and theological harrumphing noisily blotting out the full scope of the word of God on many topics. As it is written, so it meets the case in full: rational, realistic, divinely divulged, effective. In its perspective as always is found the word that counts, the case that covers and the wisdom that endures.

Volume 8 of the Department of Bible and Spiritual Affairs is now published in 15 Chapters.

These touch on the watchman of Ezekiel, the trend away from God in Europe and the push of Putin in desolatory distortion both of life and promise, in the Ukraine, now in danger of being twice raped, once by the USSR and now by its successor. 

Ch. 11 turns to the theme: DNA is structure, not Spirit; Ch. 12 to Isaiah 65, a great message bank, for God speaks not only in deed but in word. Ch. 13 turns to the end-time predictions of Daniel while Ch. 14 moves common sense into the issue of having things at all, as well as having all, a study in gullibility; and Ch. 15 suggests as an intellectual exercise: TRY MAKING MAN... how would you need to proceed ?

Volume 8

  of the Department of Bible and Spiritual Affairs is now well advanced.

	Ch.1 unravels the simple realities concerning the Israel-Hamas war. It seems normal to ignore these. It is best to look at them. They are not hugely difficult; the result as with many things, comes from ignoring the source of them, the due ground for various positions and then being reasonable. You do not normally have peace talks with those designated as your deletion agents. That is the other thing, with Israel, the idea seems to START with its deletion, and proceed to various ways of mollifying this. That leads to the final point: if you leave out God, it is like leaving out numerals in an equation.
	Ch. 2. deals with delightful depths to be found in Isaiah 66, instructive highlights.
	Ch. 3 reviews reality past races, to the race itself, its place and its current thrust. Towards the end, we find this.

What then ? Hatred for this holiness of God and His written word for the mind of man, and incarnate word, thus for the Saviour and His ways of peace without works for salvation itself (Ephesians 2, Romans 3, Titus 3), as for those knowing Him as Lord, increases in manifestation as foretold for the end of the Age crises (cf. Daniel 12:1-4), before His return for and with His people.

That, we are seeing in the most dramatic of forms, internationally and openly, as well as subtly and slyly in some of the democracies. This is a heavy test of all, not too much for eternity; and it is more blessed to come through it. As Paul says, he an example and apostle of the faith, showing the adequacy of the way of God, "I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him against that day!", II Timothy 1:12. That is a delightful part of His salvation, that the greater the test, the greater the power, and that He is committed to keeping His people, each one. His truth never fails, nor does His word.

 

Chs. 4 & 5 deal with the dumped freedom of speech undertaking by what is now the Government, during the election. THEN it was pointed out that ROBUST liberty to argue was of vast important, and SO changes were to be made to laws in place.  Since these mixed racial and truth matters appear in one legal bundle, objections about the 'race' side were bold; but the 'truth' side which was most prominent, went as if truth had never been heard of, so that, unless an unconscionable and calamitous oversight,  it would seem that slyly and cosily the provisions in the site in question, against free presentation in argumentation, putting this as subjectivised by how people feel, remain.

It is as if to ninnyise the nation, make of independent thought, a crucifixion site, of reputation a residue where truth is prepared for condemnation, being made illegitimate to the point of prosecution. It reminds one of the prelude to divine action noted in Isaiah 59, the situation there appalling almost beyond belief; and yet it was there, as in danger of coming here. If this is not desired,  there is still an avenue, as one Senator is to bring in a private bill, it is reported, to seek some remedy. His word ? like this: if no one else will, then I will have to do it.

In Ch. 6, considering a finding from the Perimeter Institute for Theoretic Physics in Canada, exposes the flighty foundations of the Big Bang piece of nature worship, by suggesting in view of the mathematical failure of that idea, something else. It is not 'nothing', a contradiction in terms, or what is eternally adequate to give us what we have got, too crisply logical. Read and see. Next ? soon a turtle perhaps, with heaps of potential, all direct from ?  Turtle land perhaps. This is a highly significant finding because of its easy removal of the Big Bang, which of course was never really there at all.

Ch. 7 deals with the love of God - an omission gruesomely disdained by many who flood the earth with blood, and think they are doing God a service (a type foretold by Christ in John 16:2). It leads on to misguided ways of distorting the heaviest of contrasts, as between Islam and Christ, who endorsed retrospectively and prospectively the Bible. The latter part is a topic in Ch. 8. Ch. 9 concentrates on actual text, not pretext, and looks at divine delight in life, which as foretold in Revelation 6, is being thrust aside by many, who make of killing, a way of life. Life as in DNA is HIGHLY PARTICULAR, and so is its Maker. You do not slouch into His company like a drunk fox, but need to repent and be redeemed.

Chapter 12 covers the topic,  Ezekiel on Tyre, Chapters 26-28, Ch. 13 deals much more broadly with the meaning and toll of history, including Egypt and Russia, covering intellectual placebos and nebulous evasions like the manipulation of 'survival of the fittest', while the Epilogue deals in more detail and at later times with the overwhelmingly accurate, substantially staggering, majestically imposing treatment of what what to come Tyre, leading on to the concept of the whole TYPE OF TYRE, even to modern times, in the Bible. On the other hand, archeological reference is given.

In this, Ezekiel 29-32 and 36-39 provide their testimony, as we see that not only does God give in writing what He wants us to know, in complete parallel to the bodies, provided with what they need from formulations in the DNA to be formed, generation by generation, but HE forms it before it happens, tells us, and with that, gives such a coherent exposure of the principles involved and the depth below and height above our ways, that it is both an inspiration and an education to heed.

Volume 7 of the Department of Bible ... series is now well under way. Chapter 1 considers short-circuits and actual faith in Christ Jesus. Chapter 2 is on the theme, Give Israel a place and accept your own. Soon the Gospel, penetrating at last into Israel in depth, will join rather than disjoin many Jews and Gentiles alike in one truth.

Concerning the rest of Israel's unique history, so often made a definition check-point in the Bible, being fulfilled at an increasingly vast rate since 1917, we do well to move to Isaiah 1-2, as in Ch. 3,  where at one point, an egregious, poor translation from the NKJV confirms the wisdom of appraising, testing all things, even what is normally good! The AV in this case is excellent.

There is no robotic substitute, or electronic slave method of using intelligence and examining detail!

Micah 5-7 is the topic for Ch. 4, "the gripping coverage of coming history, even past our own day," while Ch. 5 deals with the theme of learning from history, indeed IN history while there is workable time, for assuredly the case is this,  as Christ commanded, WORK for the NIGHT is COMING when no man can work (John 9:4, cf. Isaiah 2, 24). In the process, we drop into some biblical baptism in I Corinthians 10, indeed a whole litany of learning, and the immersion of the Egyptian army, though they were not baptised, nor could they work any more.

Chapter 6 considers the Messianic beauty of Psalm 18, while Chapter 7 ponders much pithily in Isaiah 66, that grand monument to artistry and wit, which has so much to say in so little, requiring the most watchful exegesis.

Chapter 8 deals with the entire biblical topic of mysteries, while the next Chapter deals with predestination in particular, in this context, showing its elucidation, not obfuscation of issues of depth.

In Chapter 10, much is gathered together from many books over many years, and the 35 justifiable condemnations of organic evolution and naturalism in general, are shown up, like lice on an illuminated body. References to more detailed areas are provided, but here it is epitomised in its base charter.

The divinely granted illumination available in these areas is, in practice, diffused by many, darkened by idolatry and irrational culture, and polluted by the predicted mass of false prophets (Matthew 24:24); but it can be and is spotlighted, and as always, uniquely resolves mysteries, conducts clarity as wires electricity, and amazes the delighted soul with its abundance!

Its Epilogue is short and to the point concerning the riotous irrationalisms of cultural subordination of reason and scientific method to convenience, human racism and pride.

It deals not least with the price of freedom and the necessity of liberty, with right, might and convenience, with models, modes and meddling (corruption through assumption), the heart's due preludes to the reception of the Gospel, inspection of the argument in Romans 2, apologetic error of resting on Aquinas or Aristotle; and then, amid considerations of grace, Isaiah 66 and 60.

With this addition, we come in April 2014, to the 70th. edition of the work, 
IN PRAISE OF CHRIST JESUS, and with this, we complete Volume 228 of the set. There is a lot for which  to praise Him, and it all takes time.

       3) Inter-relating Chapters on logical, empirical and philosophical elements in naturalism
       and in various religions, with overview of basic approaches, are found in recent work.

VOL 5   Thus, in Department of Biblical  Affairs ... Volume 5, Chapter 6, we have an investigation into starting and stopping in the construction of the universe, into dream and  reality,  possibility, actuality rationality, into reason and revelation, fact and fancy,  fiascos and foundations, truth and fiction, scientific method and pseudo-scientific fiction, the IF domain and the TEST domain, together with the underlying necessities and provisions, making revolt from the Lord, rationally inexcusable (cf. Romans 1:17ff.)
Like the DNA, the instruction not only for body-making, but for mind  of man waking, is all given.

 

VOL  4  It is noted  that Volume 4, Chapter 2 of the Department ... sub-set, has rapport with this insofar as it deals with religions on the one hand, and naturalistic varieties on the other, in an overall perspective, that includes the nostrum of the Big Bang. These three chapters are in a close relationship.

VOL  6 of Department of Biblical Affairs, Chapter 4, deals with another cross-sectional analysis, namely the use of MODELS as modes of approach to issues, with emphasis on RESULTS, for comparison from each variety.

We are most familiar with this from climate modelling.
 

Each configuration, plan, type is isolable and specifiable with rigour, not confusion, as is common. The fallacious syndrome here is for critics of one model, perspective or  approach to an issue, to  set about rebuffing it by assuming their own as a basis, as they critique the other. But each exists in its own milieu and AS SUCH is subject to the common logic claimed. The point remains: how does EACH perform on its own basis, and what is the comparison in RESULTS? Re-statement is not argument. This morbid mix-up is too common for clear thought; and with multitudes of mankind almost routinely being activated by many motives, some internally incompatible, clarity is frequently the fall-guy for the dismal din of thoughtless drive. This Chapter is a basic one, and is named MODELS, MODES, MISCHIEFS AND MEDDLING.

Where logic is disdained, argument is disclaimed. Here its applicability is acclaimed.

 A rather short coverage of vital elements of method in Christian Apologetics has been provided,  simply showing  distinctives here chosen on biblical grounds. Here there are some further applications in historical review, as Volume 5 of Department of Bible and Spiritual Affairs expands still further.

1) This Apologetic review is found   here. Within this work, is a short review crucial elements of the total resolution of the predestinatoin and freewill problem systematically, in terms of the biblical perspective and propositions, present for millenia but often philosophically muddied with adventitious extremism not found in the text of the Bible. While this has already been presented in the 7 volumes on this site on the topic, this review may prove helpful systematically to some, as well as provided fresh applications to historical background.

2) Putin, Crimea, the Ukraine ... What is going on here ? is this style of action biblically predicted? What is the nature of this multi-pressure point strategy of Mr Putin ? This Chapter 8 reviews, as to natural rights, unnatural wrongs, perspective and developments. This is also News Item No. 469.

3) ISRAEL and the designer obloquy, from interested parties, with vast lands, seeking, sneaking more by terror, convulsive efforts and the doctrine of hatred. To obliterate Israel becomes the genocidal theme. It is not new. It is predicted. It is reviewed. This is found in Chs.   4 and   5.

Confusions which are becoming so bad that some formerly sound churches, sometimes also lapsing in other doctrines, are becoming blind and blighting concerning Israel, as if theological departure from the word of God concerning Israel is to become political and commercial distortion. It appears often to be along the lines of the oil crescent approach, more for Arabs for more oil for Britain, so famous with Bevin of Britain after World War II, where the desire not to offend Arab oil suppliers was explicit. Now fear of destruction in cities is another motivation for Israel benders. Recognition even of Israel is yet to be obtained from its deleterious enemies, and exception is taken to its defence against annihilative adversaries. As God's morals are more and more obscenely ignored in many nations, so are His warnings and reminders. It is becoming a potentially deadly syndrome for many as in Zechariah 12.

Bend the word of God, and there is almost no limit to what else you may try to bend; but God is just, and the end of the matter is the breaking of the resolute benders, as in Isaiah 51:22-23, Micah 7 and  Deuteronomy 32. Such national and even ecclesiastical persecution does indeed resemble hyenas eating the freshly made and left corpse; but God has given warning often enough, and Zechariah 12 shows a different outcome for Israel than many expect; just as the times of 1948-1973 showed precisely what He predicted, in word, wrought into works and wars, miraculous fulfilments and precise performance.

As one reviews those times, the full  miracle thrusts itself into sight. It is that of the overthrowing of vast armies of populous nations being repeatedly overcome by the rump of Auschwitz and its kin, by a hideously persecuted people not even a nation as war commenced, by a people which Britain betrayed, by imperial power baulking and even imprisoning many Jews attempting to return to Israel, while many were crushed in the land, a failure not a little in the time of its rule. Even this followed the giving  away much of the Palestine as homeland for Israel as specified by both Britain and the League of Nations in 1917 - 1922, to its enemies. Even then, many of these would not accept any lasting truce, even for the rump of land left, the tiny sliver for Israel, wanting only to destroy the nation.

What then is found ? It is a modern miracle, a biblical warning and fulfilment with precision in detail and dynamic alike, and a divine preparation for the return of many in Israel spiritually to the Lord, and His promised action thereafter. It is good to be warned, and to examine oneself and the word of God while there is time. God always does what He says (cf. Genesis 17:7-8, Jeremiah 31:37ff., 33:18ff., Micah 7), and does not become mixed up about those to whom He has spoken... Decongestion on these topics is greatly needed while war rages and many are acting as if following a biblical script and the thing were a play. It is however no play.

Prior to the publication of Volume 227 below, but now surpassed, was this note about rather recent work on Information. Now there are 21 available in one.

Three Chapters have recently been written on the theme of information, and could be read jointly.

 

One is Ch. 5 , in the work, Not Only is God Great, but Glorious, 

specialising on matters of information  science, with extensive reference  to Professor Werner Gitt's recent volume, Without Excuse.

 

The other two are to be found in  Department of Bible and Spiritual  Affairs, Volume 4, Chapter 4, the former is extensive (approx. 20, 000 words). and in the same Volume,  Chapter 12, which extends this treatment in a specialised area.

This work was published in July. Over 300 pages in length, it examines, in a second edition from On Translations of the Bible, 61 translation points with a special reference to the AV and the NKJV. Referents however are not for these alone, so that where one or the other or both have or have not the most faithful translation (and the AV in particular has reason for its reputation, though it is not always as clear as it might be, and does need some attention in terms of the originals and our language), a readily available option may be available.

Almost more important, the issues involved in translations are treated at some length, in this area in particular, so that those unacquainted with original languages such as Greek and Hebrew, might have help.

Whether there be cultural invasions of meaning, thrust into the biblical text,
which have become like a jack-hammer on concrete, without any good reason, or textual theories, in much the same erratic conditions, or traditionalising opacity, or mesmerised manipulability, effort has been made to bring back to what is written.

61 translations are given. Though some do not vary much if at all,  from the AV or the NKJV, or vary little from some other version, many are created as a precise and perceptive, biblically-controlled rendering, and as such are both zealously sought and presented.

This volume has much in detail on Old Testament prophecy,
especially Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and minor prophets, focusses not a little on judgment, and deals with the revelation about reason,
that is, what the Bible has to say about reason and revelation.
This is a topic in such confusion that even the notable can be sidetracked,
and many are they are not merely misled on some points,
but who actively seek to foster folly,
in their cases, to subvert, and to convert
not to the Jesus Christ unique in history,
sent from heaven,
coming to judge,
but to some vain philosophy,
so lacking in foundations as to require support
by borrowing the name of Christ while subverting His cause.
Even the elect might indeed be seduced
were it possible; and thank God it is not (Mark 13:22).

As to prophecy, its intimate fidelity in fulfilment is a mark not only to reason,
but to Christian life: if God is so conscientious, what then is meet for His people!

Further, God says, Come let us reason together! (Isaiah 1:18), and HE is MOST reasonable, as should we be in dealing peaceably as far as in us lies (Romans 12:18, 14:19), with one another, for God is so consistent, persistent, reliable, and cohesive in holiness that so far from His will, word, ways and nature being incomprehensible, He makes it the most reasonable of all. It is important to both KNOW what He says, and HEED what He commands, for His commands are kindly, for His people and truth needs to be known, to be understood. His Godhead, His salvation, His incarnation,  so far from being beyond reason, are as data given to the mind of man made by God, and then are found gloriously attractive to reason, for in Him and His ways all problems of mind are solved (cf. SMR pp. 532ff.,

was published in January 2013. It is volume 215 in the theological set
In Praise of Christ Jesus.

2) Man in Retrospect, in Prospect and in Bold Relief (2008, No. 143 in the set) has recently been extended.

This includes a collection of items featuring Australia, and now in 2013 three  new   Chapters - the last from March 2012 - have been added to this. This is not least because - as two Professors of constitutional law (Universities of Sydney and Queensland) rightly attest in a submission noted in today's Australian (January 21, 2013) - there is a grave possibility that this Bill would be declared unconstitutional, if challenged in Court. Certainly, were it to come into force as law, even with some obvious purgings of the more invasive and pugnacious sections, it involves a massive recast for Australian life, shackled within a maelstrom of invasive law. Further they consider that the law may breach international obligations of Australia in terms of freedom of speech, religion, association and cultural expression.

Points not dissimilar to these were made in the first two Chapters (9 and 10) and presaged in the earlier third (11 - The Paganisation of Australia), but with focus and special attention given to the area of religion, as befits a Christian missionary and educational ministry such as this.

Making mandated morals by what "reasonable" people think (in assessment of those attacks where people are deemed to have been offensive, insulting or intimidating), so making  claimed offence and insult a legally actionable event, it goes further. Once the challenge is taken up for investigation,   guilt is to be assumed till the case is proven otherwise, so that it tends to offer a haven to out of work lawyers (if any) and a litany of wrongs for victims of its ill-considered crusade, without even so much as a referendum. Even the Bill of Rights required this (and lost in that past referendum). This is far more invasive, a virtual Bill of Wrongs. As to religion, within the Bill, it is licensed by circumscribed  exemptions from the new morals, and given conditions for operation contrary to its freedom as in Section 116 of the Constitution. Indeed, even academic and scientific areas appear to lose their usual screening from purges, except in the case of racial matters.

A) in addition to the note below on this volume: This now has more on the incarnation, "the glorious liberty within the sovereignty of God," and the place where mystery belongs, enthusing and enticing, not contradicting the clear depositions of the Bible!

B) There are two correlative works in this volume on the nature and significance of information.

Ch. 1 deals with this in the midst of a review of the politics and religion of FORCE, COMMAND, the latter found in our own DNA, not to dictate but to make us, in body. Concerning dictation, however: Further concerns focus the perspectives inculcated in such lands as Australia, where censorship has been toying with enslavement of opinion to what a "reasonable person" would consider right. Later, even now, in Bill form is the yet more idolatrously inclining effort for a far more feverish government control of liberty by the SOCIAL PSYCHE. Here man is your new measure: bow before him, or be stricken. Hurt feelings become a new religious morality, objections paid for by the State. All this is by courtesy of a Government which, whatever its political hue, is clamant for control, seeking to impose what are inhumanly humanistic commandments on the land.

This looms like the ice-berg for the Titanic, and in some danger of coming into force. In this sought surrender of opinion to government control and virtual religion,  EVEN the reasonable person's view, itself ludicrous as a virtual religion to command with legal penalties, is deemed too little to harass speech. The consideration of what this is, is reserved, DV, for later in this work (as in C below)..

Ch. 3 also deals with information in its basic character and implications, this time as the main topic, leaving no logical room for manoeuvre, even in the escapist menus of today.

C)  It is to be noted that Ch. 8 deals with an urgent topic in Australia, one which has been strongly spoken against, which concerns the liberty in the land.

It is entitled: The Original and Eventual Magnificence. Of special note are

	a) the  Appendix on Foreknowledge, Predestination, History and man, allied to an investigation of sovereignty in biblical perspective (Ch. 5),
	b) the phenomenon of STOPPING in the annals of creation (Ch. 4), an indivisible aspect of the whole which is more often focussed on  starting,
	c) the Phases of Job (Ch. 7),
	d) Creation and the Span of the Spirit of Man (Ch. 10), while
	e) biblical  studies, as in the field of Psalm 110 (Ch. 8).These  give diversification.

It is with regret that one must refer once more to a caveat first noted in January 2006, regarding a body of much value in its special field, CMI, and one sometimes used, along with others, in technical quotations in this site. It concerns the use of  sect congregations for specialised work in part or whole, despite biblical sanctions  applicable.  For this, see this link. On separation, see this one and for further detal, use this  link.

The trend to indifferentism in  fellowship fields in  current religious culture, does not render suitable for collaboration or spiritual enterprise, what divides from biblical  doctrine. Where  culture is recognised for  what it  is, it readily becomes a virtual case-study of the signatures of sin (Ephesians 4:17ff.), which time cannot sanction nor pragmatism partner.

Therefore, the more a body has splendid aspects, the more it is wise to seek to deliver it from its enemies, cultural or other.   One always remembers Professor John Murray at Westminster, whose word is thus recalled: that he would  go if  called to preach in a Romanist body, but that they would never ask him again!

AGITATION, COGITATION, ASPIRATION  AND CONCLUSION

Agitation is  another name for the phenomenon of "men's hearts failing them  for fear" (Luke 21:26), and the  allied  processes of frustration, bitterness,  belligerence, bucolic violence, which are  now  almost as closely associated with much of this present world as are drunkenness, drunks, indulgence and a hopelessness towards happenstance, found in the remnants of drug use, whatever the style of  drug  in mind. It also covers the seeking for meaning, the confrontation with evidence, the acid-washed  hearts that are bare in parts only,  and tending to be thread-bare, together with the solemn seeking which is intent on being sincere, through many perils.

Cogitation is the power to reason, doing pitched battle with mere prejudice and  convenience,  seeking truth without care for the results, if only it be found, and the results of this as in  SMR,  TMR and Light Dwells with the  Lord's Christ, for example. Aspiration deals with the genuine desire,  as exemplified in the early section of The Heavenly Man, with Brother Yun, that will not be satisfied without the word of the God who made us with His own words, and has exhibited these not only in our very construction, but testably and reliably in the Bible.

Conclusion  deals with the  fact that there is no room for doubt, though plenty for pout; and though the 'natural man', man without God who made him, spouts spirited calls to deviationism, these do nothing to reduce the finality of the conclusion. This in turn  enables inclusion; or not. It is a magnificent spectacle, God with ample and to spare,  man with resistance seeking freedom  from  ANYTHING except what binds him  to  irrational thought, capacity for capers, and a remedy-less recklessness which has  appeal to very many. As however in the case of the Titanic, being bound to an imperious  mob, or  master, with a hard-driving Captain,  does not reduce the poignancy of the togetherness as this ship goes down.

The Titanic illustrated what the titans of this Age activate: in the  end, it  all sinks. You need  not something man  makes, as if it were unsinkable: you need the God who made the oceans - and you.  Mercifully, He has made  a way of access,  not over the rocks, but to one Rock,  refuge,  redeemer and deliverer.  It is enough. There is no bifurcation. God knows and says exactly what He means,  whether speaking the DNA or the doctrine, which includes the reality of remedy. God does not dither: it is one,  as He is, Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, forever.

So vast is the alienation (as  seen in  Ephesians 2, 4:17-19, Romans 1:17ff., 5:1-12), that many images and  angles of access to these things help,  as in the day of Hosea (Hosea 12:10); but that  to which the help points is just the same (Galatians 6:14, Hosea 13:14):

	one God  with
	one resolution,
	one word for rejection or ingestion,
	one truth,
	one command to all  to repent (Luke 13:1-3, Acts 17:30),
	one crucifixion for sin,
	one resurrection of the self-same body (I Corinthians 15), in its new heightened state, so that it would not rot, as foretold (Psalm 16),
	one singular sending of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24), often bringing breezes of revival as forecast in Acts 3:19ff., and sending prongs of peace to those whom He finds,
	one Saviour who once paid the cost for our loss (Hebrews 9-10),
	one liberty in the God of our creation (II Corinthians 3:17), through the action of His redemption (Matthew 20:28),
	one peace,
	one joy, manifold in mood, vital in spirit, dispensed to His saved ones, and irremovable by man! (John 16:22).

Pondering such things in the milieu of rebellion and turmoil, the cauldron of outreach and deliverance, is a contribution,  for billions are lost,  and many have  somewhat different initial needs and appetites. May the Lord bless those who seek, and help to find Him,  those who seek  with all their hearts (Jeremiah 29:13).

This volume moves in dimensions of morals, metaphysics, Messiah and modern developments, with exposition from the Bible. The metaphysical  however is a branch of  logic, directed to certain fields, not  the  form of it which deals with delusions  as if they had  some standing and no need of the exacting pressure of rationality, verification and validation. Dialogue is also used in Ch. 8, The Clever Kid.

A special feature is Ch. 1, which dealing with the spiritual glory of God,
sees in this setting the divine strategy of salvation,
the inimitable and  illimitable love of God,
and the divine declaration on personal election, and its basis in the mind of God.

One medical professor recently seemed astounded that I conceived of God as perfect;
to me it is astounding that anyone should not realise this!
It is therefore wise to consider these things, crucial to understanding, from the word of God,
who does not only what He pleases, but what He says!

It is that which is delicious, in a world of betrayal.
The  content of His word makes it a consummation of delight.
Moreover His Spirit seals what He says,
and the believer  alike
(Ephesians 1:11-13, Isaiah 34:16, 8:16, I Cor. 2:9-13, I Thessalonians 1:5-6,2:13).

As the end of human passions masquerading with aplomb, human will endlessly congratulating itself, human sovereignties constantly glorifying themselves, draws near, it is well to reflect.

There is much to consider and cover,  as there arise with force, many particular issues which illustrate the direction, direness and devastation which comes with this stain on human glory, its love of being by itself,  for itself, with additives to taste. To forget your basis while adding salt and pepper is as inane as eating a steak that is not there, but not forgetting the condiments.

With this, then,  we seek  to warn, to help, to encourage hope and to bring those who seek, to faith in the living God, leading to the inherent joy of truth, even amid the recklessness, fecklessness and heedless gallop off course, into the meaningless distance, of the human spirit.

In this, we move through issues from freedom of speech, the dumb priest in Luke, the nature of the Lord on earth and His deeds, to the imprecatory Psalms on the one hand,  and on the other, to the lessons of biblical history especially in the two great reforming Kings, Hezekiah and Josiah. Appendices include the multicultural machination, needing careful oversight.

1) Published in October: THE GREAT DIVIDE  of some  100,000 words with much on predestination and freewill, grace and goodness, reality,  rearguards and salvation, on Hosea and Jeremiah, the approach of the end of the Age and the foreseen and foretold manner of it. An aspect arises here that may be of particular interest to some.

As to Israel, the Church, the land, the people, the politics, the nation, the salvation concerned with them, it is important to have total TEXTUAL FIDELITY. In fact that is the name one gives to this emphasis. Thus each textual area is considered in its own bounds and the matter sought out accurately on the basis of all the criteria present, including eventually, the type of literature, resonances between scriptures and resemblances elsewhere in the Bible, in topic, mode, setting and theme.

However, generalisations as if the particular context could be brushed aside in favour of general nations, without any warrant but desire, as in science, are not carelessly pursued, nor are unprobing assumptions made. We seek to keep to the strict type, in the case of each context, and if one is to blend with another, it is because there IS FOUND to be blending, not because it is desired or otherwise.

Rash assumptions of commonality or generality between different scriptures often cause in the Bible study as in science, much harm. There are parallels, contrasts, developments of particular divisions readily differentiated. They should not be coalesced without scriptural constraint, lest aspects be lost.

It is like making sure that potassium and sodium, in various salts, though with some family similarities, are never simply confused.

Precision is a pre-requisite in Bible study. If the study of His works requires it, how much more the study of His word of mankind!

Thus, to change the figure, it is like examining one facet of a crystal thoroughly to ascertain the nature of it, or of the text, in the application; and possible differentiation or or complementarity of other facets has to be found by observation, not assumption.

When the facets are duly considered, possible planning in patterns may  be researched, and rest on evidence, not propensity.

In this way, we can avoid careless cubes - tp revert to the geometrical figure - when diversity of type may be found; and extravagant claims one way or another, that surpass the bonds of textual fidelity in each individual case, can be avoided. Then and then only is contextual fidelity to the point. Walk, run, but never be carried away with yourself, is the injunction. Much diversion and indeed division in churches has come from thrashing some aspect of biblical information to death, leaving others in a wasteland, or ignoring them.

The beautiful part is this, that when you DO insist on taking each scriptural presentation, individually, with full attention to its contribution and given to its rank and status, then  the WHOLE forms a harmony so total, a clarity so brilliant and shines with a light so delicious that one can glorify the God who made His word so precise and yet profound, that it REPAYS all such endeavour! See on individual cases of needless division BAY OF RETRACTABLE ISLANDS, MISSION TO THE MAINLAND. The case of Israel is only one example of this need.

This volume, was published in August, and now we can look forward to the Australian Spring, just as the divine and spiritual Spring likewise draws nearer, when the earth will be covered with the knowledge of the glory of  God as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14, cf. Isaiah 11:9-10). Naturally, the nature of man and the curse on this world being cumulatively apparent (Romans 1 and 5, with 8), as the seed deteriorates and the mind is the more befouled in its cultural captions and captivities, there is a coming confrontation (Revelation 19:19).

Mercifully, the Lord plans to take out His family before its height (Matthew 24:35ff., I Thessalonians 4), a thing as unwelcome to worldlings as was the flood to those in Noah's day. However, in the ark of timber those then fared better, as those in the Spiritual Ark of Christ now will do, when He comes to  collect (I Peter 3:21ff.).

Therefore we seek, more than a happy Spring, a holy one, and a spiritually blessed one for those who seek Him, where He may be found, in Jesus Christ, the Just One and the only Saviour from the sin which spares none, exacts on all, and may be set on Him (Isaiah 53:6).

In  any romance, there are likely to be moments of revelation, understanding, intense empathy, that rise like the rocky cliffs by the shore, filled with significance. Like dawn and sunset, they tie together much lustre, together with light.

The Lord loves His people, and would have all come to reconciliation with Himself. Despite numerous faulty statements by some theologians over time, this is the case. How does one know ? It is because it is so written in the Bible, so clearly that no one has ever provided a rebuttal, in  Colossians 1:19ff.. It PLEASED the Father, having made peace through the blood of the cross, to reconcile ALL THINGS, yes whether in heaven or on earth, to Himself. It not some secondary reconciliation; it is not some segment in heaven or on earth, but all of both.

This is the statement. Who daring to use the name of theologian can dare contravert what God says about His own heart! Indeed,  even if it were possible here, which is assuredly not the case, there are a large number of similar statements such as I Timothy 2, Ezekiel 33:11, Luke 19:42ff., and tender  appeals which would scarcely be real if for inscrutable reasons God did not really WANT all to be reconciled to Himself with an ardour and intensity, using such terms as "AS I LIVE," as He put it in Ezekiel, and exhibiting such lamentations at what did NOT occur earlier in Israel, as found in Isaiah 48:16ff., which swells like an ocean wave that surmounts all resistance: but a godly and a blessed one, constructive and not destructive.

He is sovereign, but AS sovereign He is an inimitable lover, and the scope even to the summum bonum of salvation, is set for one as for all; though the attainment is indeed limited, and the way is too narrow for many a foot (Matthew 7:15ff.).

HENCE there is something of which human romance is merely an expression, based on the same love, however much at certain times it may be distorted by human sin. ONE and one party alone is the effectual cause, at the ultimate in the foreknowledge of God and hence in reality, for exclusion from God and that is each person involved in such negation (John 3:19). THAT is the criterion God gives in accounting for loss in the presence of such ardent love as He exhibits in John 3:16, a love which came with the scope that the world be saved, and not judged.

With God there is no distortion, but great restraint, for the purity of love is not the seizure of force, and those who love learn! Yet the divine love  is there, inimitable, inerodable, indomitable, but unwilling to ruin its own reality by mere surreptitious grabbing.

Of special interest is biblical research on the work of the Holy Spirit in Chs. 7 and 8,

and the focus on 'bits' in the area of creation in Ch. 4. Ch. 5 condenses and focuses many matters of the domain of the spirit and mind of man, often made fuzzy by materialistic preoccupations, reductionist shrugs and contra-investigatory nonchalance.

2) Since this overall set of volumes has now become very extensive in size, the emphasis on indexes has to be great. Remember therefore many indexes and approaches are available, in SEARCH, also available in the margin on the Home Page, and much variety of material is listed in  Action Kit, also on the margin. SMR was published in 1997, 3rd Edition, and is now in its 63rd Edition. The main update is in the developing data area of scientific investigation, and this is shown at  SMR Ch. 2.  Specialist sub-sections, some with several volumes for the specialty, are also found in SEARCH.

That is a lot of praise, but in this Person, Jesus Christ, there is a lot to praise; for as John the apostle seems to indicate (John 21:25),  if words were to be put to His works and ways, how would the whole world contain them! After all, He has lived from eternity, before becoming man in ultimate service (Matthew 20:28).

This volume 173 of the set deals in various ways, including dialogue as in Ch. 12,
Epilogue, Finale and the like,
with many topics, essentialising, overviewing, covering in sum. With Ch. 12, Ch. 11 has a close spiritual and logical affinity; indeed all these sections cohere like components in a picture.

The three components just noted have been exported to The gods of naturalism have no go! which is a five volume work, in the last volume of which these new parts now take their place.

was published in December 2009.

So much, as  the decades now pass like mileposts when one travels in a racing car, has been a mixture of ever more horrid deeds. Thus not only millions were killed, leaders, and academics culled in the case of Pakistan West's move to take over Pakistan East in the seventies, a kind of thing which led to Bangladesh after incredible slaughter, and has led to more in various sites as many in Islam following the Koran, seek to take over governments, or impose dictatorial sharia law.

That, it is is far from all; for meanwhile with Communist flare (such as starts bushfires) others attacked in Cambodia, swelling over from abandoned VIetnam, again selectively killing more millions. The Palestinian junta, with strong Islamic thrust, have been slaying indiscriminately in Israel, that small remnant of the promised Palestine, now largely occupied by Israel's enemies,

Sudan trembles with slaughter of Christians, brigandage of the most oppressive, almost unthinkable, just as earlier Biafra lost millions, and the Congo tribes sought mutual eradication in part or whole, Meanwhile,  Iran boasts of obliterating both Israel and its recent history at Hitler's slaughter yards, as if keen to fulfil the biblical prophecies of its downfall, and Stalin's heirs in Russia, are determined to use energy resources as a balance of power and means of income while threatening new strike weapons to point at Europe.

While such juvenile-seeming processes and abysmal murders go on (foretold in  Revelation 6), stripping the world of its heritage in people and resources, there is the added dissavour of pompous boasts of pseudo-morals from the United Nations,  as from others who seem disposed to kill as an apparent pastime while seeking glory. All these with much more are compounding to create the striking chord of human dissonance and dereliction, as if man were improving, in the sense of becoming more extreme, but in a devilry which desecrates what God has made, not in the creation of a lively worship to Him who has spoken in word and deed, and has left this world whirling to its destiny, while always ready for any who seek Him, always available, in His own name, through the Saviour sent.

The world proceeds, while either ignoring Him in a virtual contempt, or rejecting the Christ whose kingdom is not of this world, and for whom and His kingdom,  His servants are instructed not to fight (Matthew 26, John 18).

The only discernible  "improvement'', as nations more and more make false christs or follow false prophets as predicted by the authentic,  power-displaying Christ (Matthew 24:24) is

	in rapacity, not sagacity,
	in selfishness, not spirituality,
	in callow mockery of Christ, by remaking His Person to order ('the SORT of God I will believe in'  type of thing),   and not being remade for obedience, in faith affixed to its foundation in Christ, with grace, that species of spirituality as found in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7):
	in this and not cordial love following His divine words, in His divine Spirit.

The movement is towards what is reconstructed (through drugs, social mechanics, psychological appeal, force, pleasure promptings and ruin warnings), towards what is to do the will of MAN, or even Man, to be organised as ever- new regional and word associations aspire for world primacy: a thrust which Copenhagen mocked justly. Yet they seek for the ONE solution which, leaving God out for convenience, finds nothing of sainthood (leaving that to a few manufactured in the Vatican, whereas the Bible has them the inhabitants of Churches as so easily seen in the introductions to Paul's letters).

Thus the return of Christ looms near, since Jerusalem was returned to Israel (Luke 21:24), and thus that city acts as a prelude (rather like the Overture to an Opera, but this, it is the opera, the works of God which come). It advances to two movements, as in a symphony. The one is  focussing the final new assassination of  the Lord (a sort of neo-Last Supper, in which the actual Christ is replaced by the man of sin'' of II Thessalonians 2). This less than original human effort which will replace Nazism,  Communism, Nationalism and Islam as world contenders parade and ply for submission to this or that human  force,  is biblically to move with its own mystic humanism (cf. Revelation 13, 17-19), its leader declaring himself nothing less than GOD!

It is well to  consider the options: Man as God,  or God as God.  

Truth is a fearful enemy; best to make peace with Him, whose felicity is unfathomable, freely (Isaiah 55, Ephesians 2).

Such concepts  appear not a little in this Volume, with others of the set; but there is also in this Volume 172, focus on creation, predestination, the love of God and the regimen of realities, instead of the discourse on futilities, and so on Bible study in substantial measure, with this both express and incidental.  With this grace in view, may we wish all our readers a happy new year.

2) A new work,

as we  move from the childhood of the 21st century, to its pre-teens, 2010, is now being constructed,

with much on summary information, exegesis from the word of God on topics abounding with interest, challenge,
but above all, constrained by the word of God in their final conclusion.

January

1)  Mini-Messages with Maxi-Point for the Call of Christ was published in December 2008: smaller items are being presented for impact, quicker assimilation, as a variant. Suffering is a major concern. This is a book of much review. Creation and Design and relevant criteria provides another aspect (for which see Ch. 6 and Ch. 9).

2) Updating on dating and genetic matters is provided in particular, respectively in the following sites.

a) TMR Ch. 7 as marked (read through and down to the last). An index item on dating has been provided at this site.

b) Ch. 6 of this latest work.

As to 1) above:

An Exposition of some elements of Psalm 75-77 explores some of the wonders of His Majesty. It is part of the trio which focus suffering, the Son of Man and the Son of Perdition, namely Chapters 12-14.

3) Why did God create Dinosaurs (Ch. 2 of Mini-Messages ...) incorporates a Christmas message.

4) The Messiah in Jeremiah presentation has been extended with more detail (The Secular, The Sacred and the Sublime Ch. 3).

BUT DO NOT FORGET: The new volume, Mini-Messages ... contains what is a New Year Message in Ch. 13, and this in turn deals through its text and *4 in particular, with both freedom and authority, just as the main message concentrate on suffering and salvation.

5) Lastly, Chapter 6 of Three Anzas, One Answer has been revised for impact. This is one which shows a singular error in the teaching of Gordon Clark, an estimable and brilliant man, but not one whose work can be accepted for that reason, in all things. One leader of an organisation wrote to me saying that Dr Clark's only was THE apologetic basis; but Clarkianism or any other which makes such a claim (or which is given such a claim) does not stand at once in terms of I Corinthians 3, as was pointed out to the propagandist. The be-all and end-all idea is too extreme. "I of Clark ... " simply will not do. It is truth, not one seeking its exposition, which matters.

On the other hand, one wrote asking for much thunder against this view of Dr Clark: it certainly needs correction, but much was good in Gordon's work, and indeed one had the joy of working with him in a Church, as preacher, in one period when he was still with us.

The point in view, in the Chapter noted above,  IS VERY important, and brings us to many related issues. It is good to seek the Lord's help in making in this, as in all things, the Bible the only criterion, and applying it. Praise the Lord, He is the help  and the rock, the only foundation, and the One whose work is the be-all and the end-all, who alone has the pre-eminence, Jesus Christ. With the utmost care, we must follow the word of the Lord, using it to test all things.

    THE SECULAR, THE SACRED AND THE SUBLIME

has been published (November 2008), and is available.

1) An idea of its contents, which are much in  creation-salvation-culmination, is to be found below.

The secularity of the secular is just the worldliness of this world. The sacredness of what is sacred is the reflection of the Creator, and the sublimity of the sublime is the manifestation of His power, presence, personal nature, wisdom, brilliance, majesty, holiness, compassion and mercy, wonder and grand creativeness, the anterior to our own passion for it, the ground for it and for as many as receive Him who made them freely, who paid for their restoration and redeemed, the culmination of it.

HERE is the real creativity: GOD who created first man, has created the solution to the sin which is the necessary aptitude of liberty, and in so doing has sent His personal expression, His living word, the exact representation of His being, incarnate as His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to bring the Eternal to the Present, the Everlasting to the Temporal and the Life Eternal to the recipients.

It is part of His creativity and holiness that it is free ... Certain additional emphases are found on this topic in this volume.

2) It also deals with education, that soliciting against creation with lack of information in skewed presentation, at times linked with a broader teaching, and miseducation. Here we consider that startling resolve shown not a little in Australia, to crimp, cramp or even vamp, when it comes in secular schools, to God, religion, and especially creation. How is this done ? It is by  done, first, by trying to bring the obscene (not suitable indeed for children - and who needs it!) into a barred area on the internet, a justifiable step. This however is then on some plans nearly implemented, and threatening, grouped things that may prove distasteful emotionally, whether domestic, religious, marital and so forth, as if truth were to be a casualty in principle, because some people seek to subvert the young with filth and horror. Thus you have the grouping of the obscene,  this ALONG WITH freedom of speech on matters deemed too emotionally intense (because rationally intense and spiritually crucial), mattrers religious and 'mature' matters. Such a silly synthesis has been tried! It may be tried agtain.

If however the reality of God, the evidence for truth, the nature of life and its destinies are not thought good enough for children to know without being patronisingly inept, what is! Do they not deserve to be given what is before them ? Are barbaric pretensions to be permitted  to subvert truth by buying restraint through 'classification' issued, ludicrously extended from filth to faith!

Must painfully skewed philosophers masquerading as politicians abort knowledge! Indeed, some of these have seemed inclined to tell young Australians, or indeed older ones on the pretext that it also could be accessed by the young, HOW to deal with the MOST important issues on the internet. How then ? Some seem to incline to the view that religion should be dealt with in such a manner that it must be pappish, soft and mouldable, not too challenging! Is man so blind that matters of matter are to be aired freely, while matters of his spirit by which he thinks and chooses are not! Is a car to be examined, but the driver excluded!

Did Churchill summon: Look chaps, it is not for me to speak forcibly, for I know we all have our views, but could I just for one moment put to you a point about beaches and engaging in fighting and all that ... just for a moment if you do not mind.

See Chapter 1, moving on from the autobiography of Mussolini to Hitler and others, to gain perspective on the altogether unlovely confusion which has tried and doubtless will try again to subvert the liberty of speech, and without OF COURSE wishing it, the love of God. It is difficult to love what you are preventing from knowing, and what is slandered by scientistic teaching, kept free from reason (as seen in detail, in TMR Ch. 8). This is the field of ... miseducation. Surely God can still reach by miracle, but what is the case for those who make it the more necessary ? (Matthew 18).
 

3) THE MESSIAH IN JEREMIAH,

WHICH IS EXEGETICAL, AND A GRAND TOPIC. It is not that Isaiah is given too much prominence (for HOW could that be!), but that often Jeremiah in THIS respect is given too little. Effort is made then to remedy this! (Ch. 3).

	on amoral sociological intrusions into child-raising, with some application to aborigines;
	on Musings on the Educative Presumption of a Museum Director and the value of retrogression;
	a third,  on learning languages and recent findings which show the juxtaposition of design (of what does the thinking) and designation (BY what does the thinking), and the combinations;
	the fourth,  on the Millenium, the Great Commission and the demission of doctrine by many, in passionate performances on schedule for the end of our Age: nothing changes, for even what seeks change is merely showing more of the rock-solid Bible in fulfilment;
	the fifth, on cultural invasions even into specialist Christian work and the necessary awareness and profit from it.
	the sixth continues from Chapter Four,  the considerations associated with the interesting parallel of Matthew 28:18-20 and Revelation 22:18-20, enabling just due to be given to the positive and the negative, the positivity of the negative and the inherent negatives in the positive; for truth has immediately two aspects, to present and to exclude. Its face is one, that of Jesus Christ, and its place is found not in imagination but in declaration. It is like marriage as from the lips of Christ: IF you marry one then you do NOT marry another. When it is the absolute truth of God, it is, if it were possible, even more intense.
	the seventh is a large undertaking on thoughts of worlds, and the wonder of this one to meet the criteria of the Creator, the needs for truth and love to be known and shown, and the impotent festering of ideas to re-create reality by this born-torn thing called man, whose wisdom is in the fear of the Lord. It moves to the Caesar-Christ conflict and the current manifestations of this which seek to make of this world, while it lasts, something else, which not working, becomes a scene of judgment.
	In addition: KEYS ... Ch. 3 has been extended. It is on the topic of separation from the squalor of spiritual decline, a topic like that of Ch. 5 of our new volume and with some parallel to Ch. 4.
	Again, some addition has been made to Thy Word is Wonderful, Ch. 6, for it is indeed VERY wonderful, and to abide in Him and have His words abide in you is like a lakeside scene, with the snow-capped mountains visible across the expansive surface of the rippling wonder, as you walk on the wooded terrain by the side of the quiet waters.

3. Not only is there now Deity and Design ... a work of millions of words, but it has now in Message ... Chs. 4-9, a considerable supplement, moving further and further into the interstices of these most clear and stunningly obvious matters which Satan loves to render mysterious, as does a Captain love to make through a smoke screen, the obvious weakness of his shipping, a mystery to the enemy. Blow away the smoke and the result is a sinking row-boat, nothing more!

4. In the  Appendix to Message ..., there is material put to government and parallel presentation on the issue of LIBERTY, freedom of speech especially on the Internet.

As clearly from Revelation 13, there has to be a consignment of opposition to that humanistic, mystic, miasmic brutal force of the antichrist, which is to come fully in due course. Thus it is well to resist and oppose to the uttermost all endeavour to make of the human race, a cultivated set of resistless robots doing the vulgar will of a possessed potentate, with all his minions

	without heart, except in recess,
	without strength, except in conformity to cultural occlusion and historical blindness, and categorically,
	without the Lord.

This little fever to oppress the race will pass; and it is well to be ready both for it and for what it will call for (cf. Revelation 12:11, Luke 21:15).

As you serve the Lord in unqualified testimony now, so you bid fair to be better prepared as pressures intensify to subjugate the race to fraud and fever, propaganda and false christs (cf. Revelation 13:11ff., 16:13). Let us do valiantly, for the goodwill of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in His love penetrates even the darkness; and some more souls we look to find for Him, as the clouds pass before the sun of righteousness shines forever (Malachi 4:2).

Then, with His light will His people shine as redeemed reflectors (Matthew 13:43). Meanwhile, the darkness that intensifies, the more needs the light: so let it shine (Philippians 2:15).

Firstly, Man in Retrospect, in Prospect and in Bold Relief, has been published during February. It sees spiritual thing in historical flow, man in crisis and the future in Biblical perspective, looking from first to last. In these things perspective is crucial for understanding, and only in biblical perspective is all explicable, logical and cohesive, including the nature of creation, human pathology, sin and its sentence, grace and its pardon, man and his nature, dismal doom and delightful destiny alike, depending on the horizon in view, and this on the Guide and takes you there, Jesus Christ.

The clarity is as sharp, the consistency as perfect, the logical validity as bright in this biblical Christian setting as is the dimness of the opposite and opposing approach, which brings the now routine discomfort and diseased irrationalities of those who grow into the post-Christian dumps, sometimes vacillating with a bipolar thumps, as bitter dreams and sullen hopes lie eviscerated on the tarmac of history, and seek vainly to arise, struggling with ever increasing anguish while ludicrous dreams arise like smoke from a burning city, glittering with ashes.

Secondly, there has been some updating on chronology, the world  and life in Models and Marvels, Ch. 7 of TMR, flowing on from the last.

Thirdly, there has been updating and revision in some Chapters (such as 2, 6, 7)  of A Time to Praise God, providing more detail on some aspects.

Fourthly, already in its 6th Chapter, and on its way,  is Volume 144 in this set.

2) An old College of my youth has through its archives department (Scotch College, Melbourne) asked
for my life story.

This is now almost complete, and being revised; and the plan is to make it available not only to the College but to any interested.
Its point is partly for education, what I found both in Melbourne University and the Presbyterian Seminary at that time, as well as for the sense of a journey, adventure, mission and finally pilgrimage for Christ. It is in this sense that it seems worth writing at all. It is given its due spiritual focus. The URL should be given in a few days, DV, and one will plan to give it here as well as in Library when that time comes. It will probably, even then, be further revised.

A NEW YEAR! 2007

During  2006, we reached the first decade of World Wide Web Witness, our testimony to the truth in Christ Jesus, according to the word of God, the Bible, on the Web. We praise God for His help, which has been prodigious and constant, just as He is magnificent and faithful.

We now in 2007 proceed into the next phase, so long as we are called to continue with the privilege of this labour,  in the service of the immutable majesty of the living God.

For the latest New  Year Word, listen to this from Zephaniah:

"Do not fear;

Zion, let not your hands be weak.

The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

                           He will rejoice over you with singing,"

and to these from Isaiah 12:

"O Lord, I will praise You;

Though You were angry with me,

Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.

Behold, God is my salvation,

I will trust and not be afraid;

‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;

He also has become my salvation.’ "

Therefore with joy you will draw water

                           From the wells of salvation.

Better to draw than any cheque is that water, for what is chequered, in Him becomes
check-mate for the devil, who defeated, can only rave, murder and maul. Inveterate, he is fallen for ever; whereas in Christ is the peace of the truth, inviolable, founded on the One violated in life, that we might be vitiated no more, but pardoned, impressed into the service of His kingdom.

December 2007

1) Firstly, once more, much has been extended in Design and Deity ...

Especially is this so in Chapter 1 as it deals rather copiously with its

a multi-faceted account. Ch. 2 also has been extended, but not this alone.

November 2007

1) MUCH more work has been done on the volume published in August and still receiving matériel and polish, Design and Deity ...

It appears it is now around 2.7 million words. It not merely shows that creation is a design phenomenon, but that there are vast reaches of cosmoi, logically arranged, superbly testable arenas of specifiable work and action, each diverse and all coherent together, organised with word and impacting in every area and arena with sophisticated wisdom. This is as far more than mere design of an object, as is the fashioning of a universe beyond the simple use of its resources for play. Chapters 2 and 7 have received much more attention this month, but not these alone.

The introductions to each of the 11 chapters are intended to provide fire for the spirit and light to the mind of man, as well as invigoration to the Christian heart. Always, what the Bible has said, and what the empirical facts have shown are in the end woven into a tartan where truth dominates and divine wisdom and vision is attested.

It is because of sin that the obvious majesty of the creation is both obscured to the flittering mind and changed by divine curse, from all-beneficent to a thing most testing! And why not test - for even gold is the better seen for it. And why be a thing, if you cannot see it, and why have it if it cannot be shown!

2) For more in these themes see The Site, where sermons continue to grow, in short form, the latest last, and AUDIO on the Home Page, where now weekly or nearly so, a sermon appears to which you can listen as well! This shows equally some more auditory opportunities.

3) In addition, there has been a considerable extension of Bay of Retractable Islands, Mission for the Mainland, From  Evanescent Extremes, Back to the Book of the Lord Ch. 19.

This,  with Ch. 18, deals with Israel, a topic given much attention in the Bible as a guide, instruction, challenge and focus for divine action, both past, present and future; as does

esp. the Messianic Excursion as marked, and

October 2007

1. Design and Deity, Designation and Destiny has been considerably extended in its new presentations in several Chapters. Meeting the current confusion in which ludicrous imaginings are given as much attention as atomic secrets, while being as futile as nursery rhymes, this exhibits the truth of creation, design and divine action in contradistinction to all else, at length, perhaps now 2.7 million words.

2. Glory, Vainglory and Goodness Ch. 7 at the Excursion in *2 has been given a large addition of substantial interest on 'Israel' and contemporary events, aiding realisation of biblical perspective and appreciation of divine action.

This relates also to Open Door, Closed Mind and the Call of Christ Ch. 8 and the confusion of attack evidenced there. The Bible is not limited to replacement theology or to defacement theology (Ch. 8 as marked), but is far broader than either in its coverage. It is not limited by such crimping traditions, as if someone tried to put bulges into stays, with little success.

The Bible is straightforward in truth, but not simplistic in connotation. It needs STUDY! not sweeping generalisations without textual precision, far less without accuracy even in what they address, like a mine that explodes at any vibration, without any discrimination or knowing what it does. More grace is needed, and from the Lord can readily be supplied.

It is in precise and careful study, as in science, that the payloads accrue (cf. John 8:31, Psalm 119:18-20).

3. There has been some updating in TMR Ch. 7 E on the fact of the relatively young earth and its attestation.

4. 

The Shadow of a Mighty Rock has had some updating, expansion and correlation  in Ch. 1, at Section E, on beginnings, rationality abd empirical testimony. To this  is conjoined assessment of the obfuscatory obsession of the secular which replaces thought, but still tries in vain to think! This brings into sight some of the more recent components of this site - including analysis of Big Bang confusions,  with the original trilogy, and constitutes therefore a useful reference.

September 2007

1.  A new volume has now been added to the list, number 140:

Design and Deity, Designation and Destiny.

This covers around 2.6 million words and has both a compilation aspect, an extension one and an addition of new material, all topically arranged. The reality of manifest design, definitionally inescapable, in multiplied dimensions, suffuses what man is and creation likewise, is attested not merely in the physical, the mental and the spiritual, but in the realms of creation itself, the plan of salvation, power with predestination, love with purity, licence with law, eschatological and didactic phases no less. Design moreover is merely one element in this conspectus: for the rest read.

2. Ch. 7 of this volume includes a large conspectus coverage, some in question and answer format, of basics of Christian life and truth (read down from this link). Arresting developments which fit into prophetic forecast are noted.

3. Repent or Perish Ch. 7 has had a significant addition.

4. Models and Marvels, a sub-section in That Magnificent Rock, being Ch. 7, has had addition in Section E on dating, at      *4, an Excursion.

1.  A new volume has now been added to the list, number 138:

GRAND BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVES

2. A Short Article on Authority, the Bible, Truth, Tongues and Teaching has been purged of some technical faults, and represented. It now appears as a references in the main work in this field, A Question of Gifts, but can be used alone. Its name is "ELTHAM".

3.  Indexes are being revised significantly, so do not forget those in SEARCH, or the conveniently little one, INDEX MINOR.

4. The new volume has three chapters concerning Deuteronomy 32, its vast scope of prophecy, its enormous significant and its inter-relationship to many places in biblical discourse. For this, see Chapters 3, 4, and 5 from the hyperlink in 1 above.

5. There is a discourse on design, deity, intelligence and creativity on biblical, logical lines, at Ch. 3 Appendix, in the same new volume. Like the other chapters, this specialises on perspective, biblical perspective.

6. The topic of THE POOR and the Bible is not always addressed in its specific textual format. It is dramatic. See for this Ch. 6 in the new volume.

7. Remember that short summaries of sermons, week by week normally, are to be found at   this sermon site … . These are always textually based from the Bible. Sinners Only is a useful sermon for commencement.

8.  FREEDOM AND VALIDITY is Ch. 7 in the new volume, and this may interest you, when you reflect on the meaning of man and his liberty; for it has large implications. As always, the word of God and the reason that God has given to man speak in the closest harmony. Perspective is sometimes necessary however in order to remove the dark glasses of cluttering and enclosing culture which seeks to blacken the obvious, distort the true and ransack rationality ... by ostensible use of reason, in a gloriously comic antilogy.

9. The Appendix to this volume has a coverage of a spectacular, fascinating and edifying sweep in Isaiah, moving into the realm of the Trinity, and something like a diary of the Messiah, in first person, before ever He came to earth.
 

June 2007

1.  A new volume has now been added to the list, number 137:

DIVINE MANIFESTO, THE BIBLE:
DEITY MANIFEST, JESUS CHRIST THE LORD

2. In the interim, a second volume has been published in May, 2007, 136. It is called:

BAY OF RETRACTABLE ISLANDS: MISSION TO THE MAINLAND.

It has an irenic purpose, tempered by the thrust for accuracy. Islands of extremism, in explaining Biblical text,  have floated off the mainland, and there is need to reclaim them, or for their return, in order that the actualities of the Bible be found, not in mere moderation as such, though fidelity to the text often produces precisely that relative to the extremes, but in fidelity that does not budge for tradition, preference or desire. Fourteen islands are surveyed.

In what might be imaged as a flight over the maritime areas of the islands, we look and see on the mainland, major mountains of great beauty, and these send forth their message of strength beyond the seas. These are viewed in Chapters 20-21, all available from the hyperlink above.

3. Two of these islands have been added to the earlier Volume on Israel, at the end of it. In the "BAY...", these figure in Chs. 18-19.

May  2007

1.  A new volume is progressing, and available at this stage, with the name:

DIVINE MANIFESTO, THE BIBLE:
DEITY MANIFEST, JESUS CHRIST THE LORD

Its scope ranges from startling facts about Zechariah 13 and the  application to the deep penetration of the word of God, and its magnificent felicity, depth and consistent accuracy, to Church and State relationships.

2. 

Meanwhile, a large and select compendium, with interpretation and Christian Apologetic application is being prepared, its name: BAY OF RETRACTABLE ISLANDS.

Its purpose is to show 10  major areas of unnecessary division in the area of simple biblical interpretation, where traditions have entered consciously or not, and pugnacity tends to  replace the irenic moderation which strict adherence to the actual text induces. When this is done, as has been done here and there of course in the past, but often episodically instead of totally, then the clarity of the word of God on the one hand, and the magnificent harmony of its holy teaching becomes yet more delightful, an attestation to its Author and source. In a way, this is like a simple careening. The evangelical Christian faith needs to be wholly unashamed, for its crown is the Lord and its cause that of His word.

As this volume is interactive internally, it seems best to wait until it is almost finished before making it available.

April  2007

A new volume, No. 134, has been published, and its name is:

The OPEN DOOR, the CLOSED MIND and the CALL of CHRIST

This includes much exposition in
Jeremiah, Hosea, Zechariah, Revelation, Hebrews, and Romans,
with applications to the present time.
This gives significant scope for Bible Study, which has also a separate file.

Cases of stubbornness or being suborned in mind appear, as does the divine solution.

Of particular interest is a challenge which unfortunately brought a charge in several instances, of NOT holding what we do hold! This was at least different. It is like being chided for being a sailor when you work in a mine!

This was, though egregious, good in a way, since where error occurs (and the false charges were accompanied by other error), there is more opportunity to broadcast the truth as the error is rebutted (cf. I Corinthians 11:19) and to exhibit the truth more fully. This has now been done on this site (see the files below). There is no rebuttal however for those who make challenges about what is contrary to fact, simple empirical error, such as arrived at our door: only retraction is then to the point. Indeed, in all matters concerning the Bible, accuracy is essential, and to mix factual error with any attempt to interpret the Bible is like tolerating a disease without treatment,  in a hospital. It is not an option; nor can we proceed where such devices occur.

It also brings up the intriguing point that many things have more than superficial meaning, Matthew  22:32ff. being a good example. Indeed, in some cases, what is the most significant thrust is implied. This is where those having ears, are to ... hear, as Christ declaimed.

If the riches of Genesis 1 and John 1  have special appeal, the developments in 2) will be to the point.

 If it is the clarity of Genesis 1, that is the more absorbing, then this is available in 3) as further developed.

Indeed, amidst the vagaries of doctrinal insertions and removals,
in terms of the traditions of men,

Such things make it all the more obvious how serious is the unscriptural error of saying, I am of Clark, of Calvin, of Wesley or whatever else but Christ and His word. Some of the greatest of these names have made substantial errors. It is best to be biblical and thank God for their great and valued services, while NOT naming oneself, one's church or one's faith after them (I Corinthians 3). Much mischief is done in this disobedient way, in dividing the Church. There is only one foundation which one MUST have. It needs no other support.

We at World Wide Web Witness Inc.  are exceedingly grateful to God that it seems He has raised up not one but three creation-specialising, scientifically oriented bodies, in Australia or through Australians.

Creation Research, with its desirable stress that it seems to have had on the doctrine of separation, education and field trips, Answers in Genesis with its strong expository style in its field and entrepreneurial flair, especially in the matter of its exhibitions and teaching methods, and Creation Ministries International, with its often very soberly scientific magazines, with a considerable variety of features as well,  some also in a less academic vein: these all, in one way or another,  have contributed knowledge at the scientific level and/or provided useful facilities.

This is a useful addition for the people of God in combating the devil's obvious and ostentatious desire to use ballyhoo instead of truth in order to make a mythical masterpiece, evolutionism,  as if it were an option alternative to creation, though this philosophy has no resemblance to the rigours of scientific method, and every resemblance to logical farce. This is as foretold (II Timothy 4:3-4, II Peter 3:1-5 cf. SCIENTIFIC METHOD, SATANIC METHOD AND THE MODEL OF SALVATION).

              THE PRESENT POINT

It is however necessary for us at Word Wide Web Witness Inc., an arm of the Australian Bible Church - continuing in principle on the original and unharassed 1901 basis of the Presbyterian Church of Australia, with its grand composure of biblical elements, to clarify a point in this area. It is this. Although we use the work of such bodies as the above three creation organisations, this is not to be taken to mean that their various positions or methods are always ones we could endorse.

Quite the contrary is the recent case where a difference between two such Christian bodies reportedly became a matter of secular law despite exceedingly clear words in the Bible, at I Corinthians 6:1ff.. Some years ago, one of us did not take legal action against acutely evil action by a particular body calling itself Christian, in view of this scriptural prohibition, and because of a natural desire not to bring the name of the Lord into any disrepute.

In the above creationist case, however, one secular newspaper took the opportunity to lampoon Christian creationism, marvelling that it took these two Christian creationist bodies so long to settle their differences, several years eventually, it declared, before settling out of court: this,  when God took only six days to create the universe. Such was their jibe.

They apparently forgot, or chose to forget that God is infinitely wiser and better than we are. Whoever  was responsible must answer to God for supervening His word.

Indeed,  this lapse from the Bible’s directions cost dear. This is a source of deepest concern. After all, Solomon did exceedingly well, but in the end took the law into his own hands in no small measure! That King slid too close into certain convenient relations with false religions.

	Again, the advertised use by CMI of Seventh Day Adventist premises or congregations for their meetings, by no means assuredly outside normal church time, creates more than bemusement. It creates grief.

No less applies to other sects, such as Romanism (cf. SMR pp. 1032-1088H, The Holocaust or Morality … Ch. 5), where these arise for view.  It has become necessary to emphasise this.

 CMI is of course one of many specialist organisations concerning various features of the Bible.

It may be urged that one  can use anything where people will listen  to present the area of one's research to show the truth of the Bible in more applications, and  that  this can only strengthen the truth, wherever it is done. This, however, would be the typical  specialist error. You do not, because of some eminence in a field, have carte blanche to ignore all the standing rules in  seeking to satisfy your thrust. There is authority, and it resides in  God. There is wisdom and it is found in the same place, even in  Him who has  spoken His mind, both in  creation and  revelation.

That is to put one element  above the very concept of authority, which denies such free-wheeling,  and with the wisdom of God, sets bounds to what is to be done, and how. This is no strait-jacket by a work of holiness and hygiene, lest Satan  gain an  advantage, and either confuse people by seeming acceptance, or fortify sects for the same reason, or  pre-suppose fellowship precisely where it is forbidden and  that as part of the testimony of the vital nature of the truth. It is equally intolerable, as has occurred in literature forwarded by a creationist body,  to seek to try to make it appear that the Romanist pope during World War II was not supine or fearful, but actively heroic in saving many lives. Whatever the truth of this matter, with behind the scenes concepts imagined or asserted, one thing is clear. Softness on the follies of Rome, instead of facing the issues it involves, is not wise (cf. I Timothy 4:1-6). For reference, it may be noted that this,  together with a parallel issue in the same field,  is traced for concern in The Holocaust of Morality and the Coming of Christ the King Ch. 5.

The pope did NOT expose the folly, cruelty and horror of Hitler and his rule, which gained initial power in a way much helped by subtle political action directed from Rome, according to report (SMR pp. 968ff.). This aided at the first, his coming to power, something thus aided ever to mount at all, by this very body. In this way, it was even helped into power at the crucial point,  by political intervention,  through deliberate Romanist action. Once in, the acme of horror at Hitler's hand was not seen to be condemned by the body that so helped him!

Did the pope pillory Nazism for its anti-Jewish tortures and genocide ? Where is this found! for it is missing.

If it is not so, and if the war-time pope did in fact hold forth with eloquent condemnation and arousal of the world to the situation as fast as he knew of it: it is not known to be so!

In view of these atrocious developments, a severance and a disjunction, a condemnation and an exposure was entirely necessary, and appears ENTIRELY LACKING from the papacy when Hitler's power threatened menacingly. If then, this was so in general, it was more so in the Jewish case. You do not, in the kingdom of heaven, twiddle your theological thumbs; and if you presume to speak for Christ (apart from the sanctions which His word imposes on all, cf. Matthew 23:8-10), then to fail to expose what you helped to impose is a course of moral failure, the more so when in the Romanist Inquisition, not only Christians in their thousands but Jews were harangued, harassed and smitten.

Hitler's action was the coping stone of the arch of persecution in Europe, over the centuries; it by no means began it. The rigorous condemnation of that heartless inhumanity by one who spoke about humanity in the name of Christ at all, and assumed a universal position, was like omitting a report on a cancer tumour, in a health review.

It saves trouble if you do not speak, and perhaps your neck; but if you roundly condemn, then you reject, expose, impugn, raise a human voice against inhuman barbarity, set a tone in the realms of celestial speech, and of course, in this case, differentiate yourself from the tortures that Romanism so freely conferred on Jewish people in the past, setting the record straight, even though nothing can remove what was done, in direct violation of Christ's command (John 18:36, Matthew 26:52ff.).

Universal condemnation was needed to inform human beings of inhumanity on a gross, selective and vile scale, to arouse moral integrity to action in a war against the man who contrived such follies, assist awareness of the point of the conflict and its perils if lost, engender an attitude of pain and grief for Jews that would stir vast energies of heart, just as the fear of the atomic bomb did, leading to new initiatives by Europeans, some of the most expert of which went to America, to help overthrow such horrors.

Truth is not a thing to be ignored, but propounded; and the mind of man is not to be squashed into ignorance, instead of opened to reality, so that the immoral gates might be pounded with fresh energy and initiative, from greater depths of revulsion, and awareness of the importance of time.

It was decisively needed that people should expose with special knowledge when they had it, what would fortify opposition, remove misplaced romanticism even if it exposed those who so spoke, themselves to peril  DURING the war, and possible death after it! What had helped to establish Hitler would need speedily to expose the folly, heartlessness and grotesqueries of the madman, intoxicated with power and philosophy, like rum and whiskey in harness.

An exposure at heart to the heart, this was needed.

With the papacy, THIS, it did not happen.

The pope did not find it necessary in stark courage and total honour for the Lord, to speak openly and persuasively on behalf of those so treated, to expose the treatment and its source, as one valiant for the truth;  nor did he exercise the denunciation which might have eroded earlier and more fully some of the panache of Hitler. This might have shown that there were those who at whatever cost, do not cower or plot or consign themselves to secrecy, but with the valour of fidelity and the sweep of spiritual zeal use every way available to testify in truth concerning whatever things demand it for moral integrity. 

Thus in comparative silence on this holocaust, there was less danger to pope and to his regime, whoever won the war; and the initial use of Hitler as of so many others in their day (SMR pp. 968ff.), did not become a thing decisively cast off, or treated with due abhorrence with all the moral force available. This left alliance able to continue with EITHER the Allies or Hitler, after the war. In fact, Romanism was quite used to deploying princes and Emperors, as in the long day, the dreary centuries of the Holy Roman Empire, with its cunning contrivances and brazen power, political and religious, in disharmonious but fearful assault on humanity.

Truth needs to be spoken (Isaiah 59:14); and  when the enemy comes in like a flood: the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a banner against him (Isaiah 59:19).  Deception, delusion, profusion of distortion, propaganda, it all rushes in and reality needs its attestation in whatever climate. Man is not a twiddle patch, but made in the image of God, must be shown the truth, allowed to discern and decide in the light of it, not treated like children by those who manage levers, themselves escaping the vast perils, instead of instituting vast impetus to overcome the now revealed evil. Whatever was done, this was NOT done.

Much the same, only worse, has happened in the field of evolution, where report is now to hand of celebration of the Darwinian anniversary in pontifical places. There can be no excuse for the developing papal endorsement of the type of thing Darwin has envisaged, or for hiding it, as if the pontiff did not claim utter and universal power to teach in God's name, whatever doctrine he has in mind concerning things moral, spiritual and especially biblical. It is stated at papal coronation,  that the pope is "the Father of princes and Kings, Ruler of the World, the Vicar of our Saviour, Jesus Christ." In the New York Catechism, he is deemed the "father  and teacher of all Christians, " and further, "the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author and judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth ... God himself on earth." 

Indeed, in the Bull, Unam Sanctam, the pope claims this, "If, therefore, the earthly power err, it shall be judged by a greater," which is then identified as that claimed by Rome; and he adds the 'spiritual sword' to his hand, at divinely authorised  to himself, who being human yet has this authority divine as a person in a line.

Those who would wish it different, even in Rome, as one article featured in the work of one creationist body suffered to appear, do not alter the grand and pompous pretensions of the papacy concerning their power to interpret the Bible or impose their own doctrines, at will, whatever they may deem its source concerning man before God, and God over man. Nor is doctrine ALL that is claimed for him! Power over princes is added! Responsibilities are therefore morally proportionate: or should truth bow, judgment be kept silent, and this divine representative omit judgment when what he has forwarded explodes into horror all but unimaginable!

In the realm of creation and evolutionism, the doctrine of the papacy has declined in decisive steps into these most abominable lairs of cruelty, implying acceptance of evil as if a productive resource, whereas creation was most differently brought to be, and all the types of evil espoused by evolutionary imaginations as productive and creative, are by God consigned to vanity because of sin (Romans 8:17ff.).  The curse and subjection to a vanity which is neither its virtue nor method of creation, is no place to find the blessing of the Maker! God did not create by punishment, nor institute by curse, nor did He violate His own nature, which is love, but its exhibition in bringing forth the heavens and the earth. Nothing could be viler in its imputations than this.

In fact, divine discipline as in Romans 8 and 5,  and Genesis 3, is not at all the method of creation (cf. Beyond the Curse), either empirically or logically. The theistic evolution papally so progressively embraced is a horror story of defilement of the very name of God, using His curse as if it were His creation (cf. SMR  Ch. 10, and in particular, pp. 30ff., 85, 88ff., 121, 126-127, 135-151, 149-159, 179-194, 195-197, S8, S19, 303-311, 316C, 482-498, 615, 999-1000 ).

It is not just morally evil even to consider such a thing; it is factually contrary to investigation (cf. The gods of naturalism have no go!).
 

From all such things, their methods, means and fellowship, the godly must separate. Lot was nearly swallowed with the lot of them, a near escape being managed (Genesis 19); while the Lord's detestation of toleration of evil spiritual words and ways is all too clear in Jeremiah 23, Deuteronomy 13 and Ezekiel 14. Methods change as the nature of society is theocratic or democratic; but the ATTITUDE OF GOD to false premises, the gods that man acquires apart from the One who made him and told Him His way of doing it, this remains clear at all times.

The Lord abhors involvement with them or their provocateurs, with these mockers and mockeries, these religious pastiches. Stooping to share in any way with those who REPRESENT such evils, violates as if by ravishment, the purity the Lord requires (Romans 16:17 and see below). What names such names as these is self-excluded from fellowship with those who adhere to the words of the Lord, and His words ABOUT what does NOT so adhere!

In the long run, failure to honour these aspects of the word of God, to separate from all such teaching and teachers, and accordingly to honour the very nature of God,  will be bound to lead to pathological consequences of an indeterminate but awesome character; and what one says in love, is nevertheless a matter for acute pondering and watchful application!
 

On separation from what does not adhere to all and only the Bible, the word of God as the criterion of doctrine, see Separation 1997. Avoiding what violates this - whether by addition, subtraction or mutation - as in Romans 16:17, Galatians 1, II Corinthians 11 - is rather different from formal co-operation, or uncritical usage.

We who are freely redeemed by Jesus Christ for ever by His own blood and follow His own word of grace, mercy and authority (Ephesians 1:11, John 8:31, 6:46, Acts 5:32) need to be deep in obedience in these challenging days, avoiding all compromise, fellowship and aid to the ideas of anti-scriptural 'Christianity' as it moves on its fateful way (II Peter 2:1ff.). We need longing for carefulness according to the word of God, each helping the other, in meeting every challenge, none taking advantage of specialisation, whether church, the body of Christ as in Romans 12 and Ephesians 2,4, or tributary body. It is important that none depart from generic rules applicable to all, for specialised purposes. NO ONE who is a Christian has ANY authority EVER to change the rules of consorting and fellowship, for ANY purpose.

As all this is now public - law, meetings and the rest - it continues so here. There are biblical limits to the ways in which one may relate to others, in particular to those involved in contra-scriptural 'Christianity', in fact a contradiction in terms, whatever one's calling. It is like a Hospital: however much you may like patients, fellowship with germs on a cordial basis is more than insensitive: it is blindness.

It must be stressed that nothing should be allowed to minimise the biblical prohibitions concerning fellowship and co-ordination of activities in spiritual frame, with what has moved categorically from the word of God, and the biblical testimony of Christ. Love obeys (John 14:21-23) and so far from being a ground for outage from what God declares, it is spur to desire to know His word and to do it (I Corinthians 13:6).

This is perhaps a good time to encourage Christians to become aware of some of the recent movements and of old stabilities in this Adventist sect as in these last phases of Romanism; and to recognise the enduring default from biblical Christianity multiply present within both.  While these things do not prevent our using such materials, such as come from any creation body which should fail in this area - indeed we could use material from any source so long as it did not per se involve any form of fellowship or co-operation - it does put a pall over our joy in such matters, and it draws the deepest concern when such prohibitions and injunctions are not followed.

There is not only a need for clarity, but for warning and exhortation as seen when you read in II Timothy 4:1-6, for example, where some specifics of one type in the broad spectrum of such invasions of Christianity in its own name are predicted to occur, just as it is yet more generally revealed in II Peter 2.

Is it then spiritual to be supine about this ? Not at all, and quite to the contrary, scripturally. Love that does not heed the need to warn is like a mother who smiles when her child tells here he has found a new way of safely crossing the road without opening his eyes.

This is by no means all; but it indicates something of the current direction of our concerns. This is not to condemn a creation body, but a type of action; and this not for any joy it gives, but in the fear of God and the knowledge of where such things can lead. Spiritual gifts, in fact, are not self-sufficient, but are connected to graces and the call for obedience in one and in all, under the Head and His rules for all. We are all imperfect; but it is not wise to let peril pass, or through silence to allow others to be misled because something excellent in many ways, appears to be beginning to sway here and there, mainly outside its special field.

According to the measure of the gift, let it be used; and according to the command of the Head, let there be restraint. As in cricket, there are many methods of bowling with an eventual aim, but they should not be off the pitch. That is for some other game!

We therefore cannot allow our own use of technical materials to mislead anyone into any false direction, by giving no warning, when any specialised service body, even if creationist, an excellent thing in itself, takes liberties in bowling.

For us, Christ will always be our special field, and all that pertains to Him, whether in a specialised field or not. This is our policy, and our earnest desire is to follow Him in all things, according to His word, however imperfect, at any point or time, we ourselves may be, in this or that result. For the overall impact of what we are directed to do, and the moulding of ourselves who are commissioned to do it, we trust in Him, to whom our way is committed, seeking to be governed by His word as enabled within it, by His Spirit.

Part of our need here, then,  is to prevent misconception from our usage of materials often in themselves,  both excellent in their domain and useful.

May the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and His people blessed. Alas, to carry one's cross is not at all an easy thing, and convenience is far from it. Lively fellowship with the people of the Lord has its challenges, and its purifications, and the fear of God must always, as Peter advises, be kept in mind. Indeed, it is not a craven fear for love casts out that trembling which has no faith; but it is a clean fear as in Psalm 19, and it endures forever, just as the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart.

Let then our hearts rejoice, for self-discipline is always fit for one who bears a cross, and joy is always active where He is obeyed (cf. Acts 5:32).
