PREFACE

The necessity to let God be God is so manifest, that one found the preface rapidly becoming Ch. 1, so that now we simply ask you, readers, to look at that Chapter 1, where the needs of our times, the times of our needs, and the whole construction of time from eternity, await your view. It is there, and blindness does not help your journey, nor voluntary blindness remove its necessity. His light has shone and it is to be utilised where it has come by divine mercy, to find us.

In this volume, we shall seek to explore the sheer wonder of what is the basis, background and cause of man, and which being God, is the antidote for a creation fallen, and the dynamic for that creation called man, in his distresses.

No more vital topic exists, and its manifest quality, declaring itself like the fog horns in mist, but without fading startlement, so clear its declaration, the more exhibits its necessary pursuit. That God has pursued us in the despatch of Christ (Isaiah 48:16, John 3:16), by preliminary announcement called prophecy, by precisely engineered pre-time portrayal of what was to be, and with history co-operating, of course transpired: it is this which is the most wonderful news. What it means must now likewise be considered, for it is the best for the least, and the most for the impoverished, joy for the jaded, beauty for ashes, peace for tension, the consummate for the kindled, fire for the mighty, reality for the reckless and truth for vapidity.
