to keep to the point.
Finding things is one thing: their pursuit is

put your heart
into it
and persevere carefully with what you are seeking.
After all, that is the way to seek, if you want to find
anything.
Undoubtedly some prefer to seek so that they may NOT find,
the dilettantes: to each his own. Not finding may satisfy some, but it has
one cardinal disadvantage: you are still without what it takes.
