AND TIME OF RELEASE

Bin Laden Blues ?

News of the tyrant, bin Laden, at work offering terms of peace to Europe, is like that of earlier tyrants in this. It is intemperate, propagandised, manipulative, cunning and arrogant to the point of suggesting religious paranoia.

A man with militant malcontents, trying to remould the world with a false prophet's dicta, providing zero of verification, but much of strenuous seditious striving and vast destructive power because others have invented destructive media which unbalanced people can utilise to terrorise, is now offering Europe some respite. How kind!

He is evidently trying to get Europe 'off me back' as the vernacular has it. He is actually saying something that seems closely to resemble THIS:

	1. I do not like Israel sitting in the Arab midst, how dare it!
	2. I do not like USA helping it retain its seat: it should unseat it as the rest of us want to do.
	3. In the meantime, the legitimate aspirations of the Islamic peoples are to regain the large slab of the world they lost. Do not try to inhibit this. We want it. Enough said.
	4. People who do not share my existential certainty, based on a dynamic of psychic assurance, are infidels. Such are undesirable people, best not populating the globe anyway. Their departure here or there is no great loss, to say no more.
	5. If you try to stop this aggrandising move and motif, we will call you aggressors, enemies of the Arab people or the Islamic faith or both or more, as the case may suggest to our mouths. If you qualify, you qualify for destruction at our option. This is because of our psychic dynamic, which we call a religion.
	6.

 If you let us proceed, Europe, and do not act to stop us so that we may continue unmolested by your undoubted power, we will deal with the USA and Israel, and get on with the gentle process of living the way we see it, want it, and plan to have it.

Now what he does NOT say is that this is almost a replica of Hitler to Chamberlain and Co. in the days before the 1939 outburst of hysterical power and inane glory that was infinitely inglorious, unleashed by another deluded nation. This is not to say that all Germany was deluded at that time, but the mouth part was; nor is it to say that in this violence credo, all Moslems are persuaded, but many mouths are, and many hands tie themselves lest the mouths give orders to them as if infidels, and as we are so constantly shown, infidels are really better out of the place.

Infidels, you remember, are those who do not share the psychic, existential urge of the militant Moslem substitute for the Swastika, Hammer and Sickle. Speaking symbolically, they have their own radio station as call sign. It obligingly helps them broadcast … what! It continues, this cacophony of synergy.

What then does such ‘infidel’ status here imply ? First, it means such persons do not find it apt to imitate these past tyrannies, in the name of any religion, including their own. That this is not what the Koran teaches, this irenic approach, has been shown often on this site; but it is clear that just as many so-called Romanists do NOT accept all the pope dictates or directs from his chair, neither do many Moslems accept, in practice, the dynamic words of destructive kind and expansive mode readily found in the Koran (cf. More Marvels ... Ch. 4, Beauty for Ashes Ch. 4, End-note 2, Red Alert ... Ch. 16, Divine Agenda Ch. 6, cf. SMR pp. 1080ff.).

We must do justice both to the PEOPLE on the one hand, and to the ACCURACY on the other, of what is really found in the Koran. It is a very mixed up book, with contrary intimations and exhortations, but that its use of force is vital, vigorous and fundamental, in the interests of the 'faith' it presents from vision of some kind, is incontestable where empirical evidence is concerned. Muhammad himself used force to take Mecca and institute the rule and primacy of his religion. His exhortations are often little more than extensions of this approach to man, religion and reality.

Naturally, the allegedly almighty Allah has taken a beating in the restoration of Israel, as Mahathir has so rightly focussed, although not of course in those words. His view was that something ELSE would have to be done, more subtly, about Israel, since force did not quell it, even from such a vast Islamic clientele to the contrary. The implication however remains, whatever the intent.

                                  A god of Slender Means

It is of course simply a fact. Allah has not managed to exterminate, suppress, disperse, remove from its land, the State of Israel, to subordinate it to the status of second class citizens if permitted to exist, to bring all things to the glory of Allah. Far from it, endless 'jihads' or what used to be called pogroms, a sort of national inquisition on a vast scale, have failed to intimidate or do more than bury slain kids and others, leave writhing messes of bodies left to endure life, and such other delicacies of militant Islamic credos or consequences. It is some religion which leaves such mementos.

As to the comparison with the twentieth century efforts, Bin Laden is ONE of the other methods, not necessarily as envisaged by Mahathir, since subtlety rather than force seems to have been his idea; but it is different. Instead of being beaten by the tiny little mouse of Israel, as vast territories with amassed oil wealth seek to delete it (like liquid paper on print, but not so white), the idea is to harass the helpers. In this case, highly civilised and highly technically developed nations are to be intimidated by fear, overcome by the use of bombs invented by themselves, or airliners invented by themselves, or other ever so clever methods, so that the forces of destruction can delight themselves in the woes they so uncreatively create, and the punishments for not sharing the irrational darkness which they so severely regard. It has not worked.

It has led to invasions both of Iraq and of Afghanistan, for although such actions are not attractive, slain citizens in the USA is still less so. It has led to efforts to intimidate Spain, partially successful, Britain, not at all successful, and the USA, spectacularly unsuccessful, so that even Warren is now assuring his people that the troops must stay till their job is done, a ploy if such it be,  likely to aid his efforts to live in the White House. Still, they keep on trying.

Perhaps now if Europe is told, BE NICE! peoples, be nice, and we will wait till later to deal with you, although it is not quite put in that way, it will nicely revert to the anti-Jew, the anti-semitic elements of the past for much of it, and let the bin put Israel in the bin.

The bin Laden overture is a ploy so transparent that it might appear, had it not been for Munich, that it is a last ditch effort of a perhaps sick and certainly ageing man to get more results with less effort; and it may be just that. So far the initial European noise is negative. They do not appreciate this tyrant of destruction, this leader of the gang, telling it how it may live. To make a treaty, to procure a pact with such a wanton devastator of bodies and waylayer of ideas, such a deluded denizen of the religious deep, such a failure and such an ideological factotum, is not attractive. If you deal with such, do you not in one sense at least, join them ?

It may be that Europe will have learned one lesson, and this ? not to play games with tyrants, at least, not with the ostensible sort like the bin.

Nevertheless, perhaps the papacy could be induced to say things which could increase the net impact of bin Laden ? It is possible he will attempt more in this direction. Perhaps fear will help ? Perhaps desire for a settled Middle East, to allow safer extraction of oil will help ? In the meantime, the bin is assuredly unpopular, unsavoured, his approach a disgrace to any religion as force is used to induce acceptance internationally of a world power thrust, in the name of religion. If Israel is to have ITS PLACE anything like intact, and militant Islam would rather it did not in an extraordinarily partisan push bordering on an international putsch from the area of the UN and the aura of violence combined, then this crusade in cruelty is quite broadly conceived.

It is directed for its Saudi maker and his ilk to have MORE than a vast majority of the Middle East, with considerable power in Georgia, Chechnya, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Iran and until recently, and not at all now subtracted, Iraq.  If the sky is not the limit, much of the earth is. What is there now ? THIS IS from his own words, NOT ENOUGH!

The United Expropriation Societies ?

One would be excused for thinking that the UN was an Arab cartel at times, when one wonders at its incessant blindness to simple facts. Israel is TINY; Israel is returned to its own historic LAND; that is small. Moslem lands are VAST. Moslem oil is VAST. Moslem pockets (although amazingly unevenly distributed as to contents) are VAST. Yet Israel is to give 'back' more ! The tiny part of the League of Nations gift to it in the 1920s, now left to it, this is TOO MUCH! Why ?

No sense of justice^*1 could condone such bullying of the tiny in the interests of the vast, the harassing of the oppressed people, while it is seeking merely its own place. Oppressed ? this by those who in that area have, or have substantial access to NEARLY EVERY PLACE. There is land aplenty for all; it is only that it is to be found where it is least available. Justice is forsaken; judgment is invited. How long is it that it is expected to refuse such an invitation on the part of the numerous and rich, against the poor and the few.

Thus the dictum of the terrible is this, that Israel must divest itself in the interests of the mighty, who will not take care of their own. As we have noted before, when one of them, namely Jordan, did make offer of citizenship to Palestinians, it was one so abused as their new land was made a basis for terrorism against Israel, that it led to civil war!^*2

The word 'occupied territories' in terms of international action which gave ALL of Palestine to Israel, and on the basis of which action was taken by Jews, should rather be all of the former PALESTINE not currently occupied by Israel. It is OCCUPIED by those to whom it was not given. Subsequent renegings constitute breach of agreement, and no amount of expropriation lust can disguise this fact. The unhistorical lordliness, the ecstasy of injustice of imagining that what was PUBLICLY given to Israel in a war setting, and confirmed by those who prevailed against the Kaiser's assaults, after it, is to be further reduced, and that what has been by reneging occupied by Arabs is to be increased, is to be seen to be credited. In any ordinary terms, a basis of amazed incredulity, it is certainly not creditable. It is international war, once again, against Israel, as by pogroms, as by Inquisition, as by Hitler, now by oil-rich domains, not accepting their own, and trying to carve in Israel a place for them. The indubitable fact that they do not WANT Israel there, as shown by many mouths in the conflict, while it may not be universal on the part of those seeking more of it, is common in some countries and in Palestine itself, the part that is, already sequestrated from Israel.

More importantly, God is not with such a grab. Hence Allah, a creation of Muhammad in conflict with the God of the Bible (SMR pp.1080ff.), who is evidenced and attested on all sides by an extravagant array of tests which HE ENCOURAGES TO BE MADE (Isaiah 41, 43, 48), as well as the constraints of logic (cf.  SMR Chs. 1-3, 5, 8-10, Repent or Perish Chs.   2,   7 ), is for all his non-existence, yet by virtue of whatever powers seek to use his name, spiritual or terrestrial, in this at direct war with the Lord. The God of the Bible is diverse from Islam in doctrine, direction and prediction, from the first, and to the last in the return of Jesus Christ. He is diverse as one who does not provide redemption, nor atonement by sacrificial blood, nor the love that institutes it, nor the gift of eternal life based on God's own quality and quashing of sin, the sin that separates for those who receive Him. Observably, in God's stated program, He succeeds. All is precisely as He said.  Allah fails. The Koran directives cannot be implemented.

Hence Mahathir is concerned, whatever his subjective motive.

The results are not good for an almighty loser.

Hence the pan-Islamic body meeting in Teheran in 1991 expresses its help for Palestinians, a pawn group to invade Israel or give ground for it, or to snatch more from it, on the part of those who DO NOT TAKE them into their own vast territories, where their own Islamic religion is already ready for them. Hence the harrying of Israel continues, with the UN and even the USA with its ludicrous Road Map, making a new scene and even scenario for divestment. Of whom ? Surely of the almost omnipresent Islamic hold on the Middle East ? Not at all, of Israel! You mean, strip the mouse to feed the cat ? Surely. But cannot the cat feed its own kittens ? Of course, and liberally; but it is not interested. So Israel must feed it.

It is like taking food from Ethiopia to feed the USA, so ludicrous that one wonders at this fresh exhibition of the power of lust, ravaging and expediency, and whatever else ministers to delusion, to make something so near to tragic hilarity from apparently solemn and grave things. Will we send water to the Victoria Falls or Niagara ? Will we send arms to Afghanistan ? Or electricity for heating to the Saudis ? or send them loans from the World Bank!

So does the bin try to make of dignity a ruin, of truth a captive, of nations a pack of poltroons, and to make of little, much indeed, in the normal way of dictators and tyrants, who often enough reach their zenith through collapse on the part of those who sought peace at any price, or at least at cut-price rates. He is at war with God, as in this, are those who in militancy follow him, parallel him or further such aims (cf. It Bubbles ... Ch. 10, SMR Appendix A). The interesting thing is that this is what Revelation 19:19 predicts of the final grouping of nations, not of course merely Islamic, but of a far more embracive, more universal delusion (cf. News  5, Biblical Blessings Ch. 2, SMR pp. 750Bff. - 731).

The Divine Offer is Immutable, Gracious
and Suffers No Amendment

War with God is the ultimate end of the Age, and the peace that follows is just in the terms of the same Gospel with which it began. God does not change, the Gospel does not change, the offer does not change, the fate of those who reject the truth and the peace of God does not change, the fruits of the labours of the predicted MANY false prophets does not change, and it has not essentially changed since the days of the prophets in Israel centuries before Christ, and it will not change when the world power, the prince of this world, to follow all this little preliminaries like bin Laden's Islam^*3, presents its own pride, almost as if to beggar all those of the past, whether Hitler's, Mao's, Stalin's or this little bin Laden's!

The world was intoxicated with survival of the fittest, as if survival created, as if continuing commenced! in a made submergence of logic and a wild frenzy of paranoid psyches strutting, abutting, ajutting; and Hitler took much. Stalin's regime was just as close to the intemperate logical follies of Darwin, who saw far more of the evidential failure of his theories than many of his followers, who are now cut adrift so entirely by contrary fact that their position is like that of the mammoths in Siberia, although they often do not as yet realise this; nor did Hitler until near the end, realise where  he was. This is the nature of delusion. There is nothing new in that.

The world is intoxicated now with comparative religion, unifying religion (News 121, 122), all religion being in some unspeakable sense, one, despite manifest contradictions even at the heart. Thus one has NO redemption, and hence of course no Redeemer, and the other founds ALL on it! The shiftless world however does not mind, any more than many minded Hitler's mindless rubbish, with its Darwinian undergirding and racial overtones. It is interested in such developments. It is a little appalled that such a 'nice' thing as unified religions (like unified maths papers on the part of failed undergraduates, whose work does not meet empirical fact or logical necessity) is leading to such violence; but partly in fear, and partly by mental conditioning, it is a little slow to act.

It is trying to ignore the Koran's vehemence for enemies on the one hand, and the Biblical pre-eminence and indeed incomparable evidential and logical primacy; and it seeks to do so,  in the interests of MAN. It is HIS religions which in the minds of many, are slated to prevail, HIS desire which is to be instituted, HIS person who is to be the antichrist, and any gods need to realise this. Man loves man (though of course, not usually his fellow man!). This is the temper of the times, and it is the payment option which is maximal. Shortly the 36 month interest free period for the purchase of this unsober caravanserai of confusion will be up. Payments will be heavy. The time will come, and that not far distant, when bin Laden will look like a mosquito next to an hippopotamus.

His follies are the foot-hills. What allowed them to develop is a dynamic which is more embracive, more feckless if it be possible, than his, and its fruits will come on the hills of the mountain of destruction. Fighting God cannot win.

It does hurt.
 

It is foolish. It is fighting the dentist when you have an abscess.

such activity is painful, unnecessary, autonomous, irrational, and also unreasonable. After all, this earth is a testing ground as philosophy empirically shows constantly, as theories come and go, and pains come in proportion and sometimes out of proportion, and sometimes do not go so very well at all. When it is over, it is just an ageing structure, magnificent of course because of its Creator, but horrid in terms of its desecrator, of which bin Laden is merely one more mouthful, if less powerful and more merciless than many.

Such a world of grabbing and ideological gyrations about a common confusion is not worth fighting for; and Christ even had his close friend Peter put up his sword, and set about repairing the cleft ear of the aggressive person who sought to arrest Him. MY SERVANTS DO NOT FIGHT! He indicated. In John 18:36, you see the principle. For the kingdom of heaven, NO war is necessary in terms of flesh and blood; only in spirit (Ephesians 6). Have the whole earth if you want it, but it will not profit when your soul, dissected by truth and laid bare by reality, faces the heavenly assizes! God will judge in His time, when the Gospel round is deemed complete as He said (Matthew 24:12).

What does it profit to have the whole world and lose your own soul ? What is the good of getting when you, the gainer, are part of the price! Christ was sold; the world is being grabbed. It is an old story, going back through numerous 'conquerors', secular and religious, and pride of papacy, that fallen distortion of religion that so resembles in vile violence in its time, the new Islam, which is so like that of the first centuries after its founding, seizing nations by power and intimidating by force, as if this had something to do with the faith of religion! (Cf. SMR pp. 50ff. 66ff., 1032ff..)

No, God has given Israel to Israel, and although it has forfeited its ancient heritage by killing its King (not surprisingly), yet it has not thereby forfeited its Redeemer, whose coming has due provision for Israel, on the same basis of the same Gospel, and for its land, simply in terms of His own faithfulness, as Ezekiel is most clear in proclaiming (Ezekiel 36-39, SMR Appendix A).  How the world loves to reduce the Jew; and it has been able since Israel THE NATION rejected its King. God showed these things long before they did it (Isaiah 49-56, Deuteronomy 32), and the results were likewise traced centuries before their error.

The results have come as foretold (Leviticus 26), and the persecutions have come as foretold, and the return to Israel has come as foretold (cf. SMR Ch. 9), and the victories of Israel against vast numerical superiority in its enemies has come, together with the initial division of Jerusalem into two of 1948. It too has come, all as predicted, and the cost to the nations which presume to 'fix' and 'settle' Israel's place, or loss of it, has come or is coming, yes, that 'heavy burden' predicted in Zechariah 12, just before its forecast of the repentance of many in Israel at their earlier killing of the Messiah.

The nations bear their burden so willingly, so foolishly, fecklessly, recklessly. It is divinely prescribed, and non-interference with the State by presumptuous attempts to expropriate more and more minister to tragedy, for God is never mocked. He may wait; but in the end, what is to comes from His word, comes. God never fails.

Yet man has become so inventive. He wants his own gods and nations and ways, and will. It will not help, any more than an infantile tantrum helps a child. People want now to universalise^*4 gender, increasingly, races, ideas, religions and 'God', but only make a mess. It is necessary not to PRETEND on identities when individualities exist, or to make man his own god by daring in incredible confusion and profusion of arrogance, to subject their own Maker and Creator to the process of human mulching. It is a mistake to confuse your car with the factory, and your space shuttle with its inventor. It is an error of infinite loss when you seek to universalise your own feeble ideas of religion and remove God from sight, just as many seek to remove that TERRITORIAL REALITY from God, of the place of Israel on the map, from existence.

You can try, but you are fighting razor blades of reality with bare fingers^*3. It is useless, and merely a matter of self-inflicted wounds. Who will bind them, when God is your target!

Not only then, is it the murdered, tangled pieces of exquisite creation which the destroyer is destroying, but those who are the destroyer in this instance, who should occasion our pity! Is it not sad that those who as in the other sects (Islam is classifiable as a sect of Christianity in this, that both from the Jew and the Christian they have taken, as those who went before, parts and ideas, distorted, sometimes mere traditions, legends, and incorporated them in a new look christ  with a small 'c', built not on history but on imagination), seek hard for their goal in life, destroy the only goal that is worthy of seeking ?

It is so like a self-inflicted wound, and there are no wounds so sever as those which they inflict on themselves. Is it not to be a thing pitiful, that so many are even now becoming murderers as they chant against the God of creation and redemption, in their insurgencies.

Pity is for all who Breach Mercy with Disdain,

Where it is to be Found

Yes one thinks of Ezekiel 32:18ff. of Pharaoh meeting all the tyrants before him in a cease-fire hell of ignominy! And then in Ezekiel 33 of the watchman to warn, so that those who err may, even they, be found of God!

                           Says the Lord God.

How tragic this dynamic turned to devilries which sits ghoulish at the end! Egypt of old like Babylon and the rest, the tyrannies of crazed power, acting as if God, or in the name of gods of the culture, comes to its grief, just as it caused grief.

Is there no pity ? Yet they would not turn, and such is the self-derogation of the lost: for they will not HEAR!

Thus in the very next chapter of Ezekiel, the famed 33, comes the charge to the  'watchman' to warn! IF in the love of God, warning is given, then to those who repent and realise, returning to the Lord, there is free pardon; and to those who harden their hearts and turn away, there is the burden of sin and of judgment to come. This is the recompence of folly, but it is not desired. It is residual, not restlessly imposed. It is the last resort, and no pleasure resort is that with the guilt of guile and the consequences of rejection of reality.

I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED, God says,

BUT THAT THE WICKED SHOULD TURN FROM HIS EVIL WAY.

TURN, TURN FROM YOUR EVIL WAYS,

FOR WHY SHOULD YOU DIE ... ? (33:11)

The fate of Babylon was one of the most severe as you see in Jeremiah 50-51, and it was she who came next: after the evils she did, came those which she received! (Jeremiah 51:47-49). Yet "We would have healed Babylon," the Lord says, "and she is not healed" (Jeremiah 51:9). The same is said of Israel before its being carried away by Assyria, in Hosea 7:1: "When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered." The words of Jesus in Matthew 23:37 and Luke 19:42 are of the same thrust, compassion and coming, cost and payment all are provided; but they would not recognise their opportunity.

	"If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong to your peace! but now they are hidden from your eyes. For the days will come when your enemies will ... lay you even with the ground."
	No wonder He wept!

While sin brings suffering, when repentance is discarded, then reality bites. The people of the living God continue to warn, to seek the cold to come back to the divine warmth, the fleeing to be rescued from their own flight from reality. It costs. It is painful, it brings suffering even to the watchmen,  as you see from Paul in I Corinthians 4:9ff., II Corinthians 6:4ff., so that we appear as "fools for Christ". But the love of Christ constrains us (II Cor. 5:11).

We do not wish to see other members of our race with self-inflicted wounds, but rather desire that they should receive the Wounded One in His Wonder, who offered Himself on time, as forecast, for the Gospel's sake, as predicted in detail, and did so to lead to its proclamation till His return, just as happened. He was to come. He came. He was to fulfil His sacrificial role; He did. He was to found the Gospel in His atonement and power: He did. It was to be preached as depicted in detail centuries before He came; it has been.

It is not too late, if you read. It is not too late if you are in revenge, in self-realisation or in assault mode. The Prince of Peace is peaceable, but purity is the criterion, and it is HIS ONLY, yet dowered in grace to the hearts willing to be purified (Titus 3:4-7). Life is not about killing but living! (John 10:10). He died that you should live, whether Jew or Palestinian, not in the embroilments of selfish ambition or desire, but in His will and way, at His direction. Your very genes contain His orders; your being is from His word and will; your future is in His hands. His Cross is the most important reality - for there alike is His love, His power of resurrection forwarded, His atonement and His peace.

The word of God's love is without discrimination. It is to one; it is to all, it is to those in thrall to secularism, sects and seductions of all kinds. It provides atonement for every one who receives it, in the Redeemer, who once distorted in flesh, now some seek to distort in word, whether in radical Western frenzies or those rash unrealities from the Middle East. For one, for all, there is one peace, one pardon, one promise, one God (Ephesians 4:4), and He is not found invention but by capitulation; and that not to man, but to Himself. The peace of Christ is not of this world, and seeking to impose your own powers on it, is alas, like seeking to mould the waves into your own configuration. Your effort is vain, is lost, is supererogative, superfluous.

To live in vain in the follies of religious philosophy, or secular, is like electing to stay under the sea, when the oxygen will not last for long, and the deep is ready to wash your folly, when it is too late to avail.
