It appears that Israeli blood is not red. One has heard of the blue-blooded aristocrat in England, but of what colour, then is Jewish blood ?

At Netanya, coastal resort in Israel, just throw in a bomb and kill 19 persons (any age, infant or ancient, like the blood it appears to be of no consequence), and injure 172, and what have you ?

It is, we read from Hamas, 'a letter' (the ink is of a strange composition, haemoglobin, and stolen from others), and it is to show that Israeli governmental action is terrorist.

That, it is rather like having someone assassinate a King and comment, That is to show how I hate barbarous violence. It is not really a very clever way of showing it, because it shows that you just love it, and feel so very intimately drawn to it that you USE IT!

Little more inept could be conceived. It is like little Johnny throwing a dart that hits the teacher on the nose, and then adding, by way of explanation, This is just a little  note to show how I hate disorder!

Like so much in this burlesque of truth, this assassination of right, this slaughter of justice, the maladroit is sufficiently grotesque to have a certain wry humour; and would be outright funny, were it not that the humour is hateful, criminal and laughing at blood, at age, at tenderness, at anything and everything except desire. And that ? For land. Blood for land. So it goes. This is just more barbarous, as one Jewish commentator noted, an act of barbarism which seems to have no limit.
 
 

No less comic in content in the Abdullah speech which with all the irenic quietude of the powerful, notes that they want equity (though it is unclear how this is being given, for UN decisions per se have been so one-sided as to be derisible from the first on this issue). What has equity to do with slaughter ? What has equity to do with a desire to ADD to earlier specifications for Jordan, initially granted much of Palestine thus effectually  for Moslems, essentially, now another grant of the Palestine that was to be for the Jew, and leaving that  to Moslems. (See It Bubbles, It Howls, He Calls Ch. 10.)

Do they not already have their Mosque in the heart of the ONLY Jewish capital city, of the ONLY Jewish land on this earth ?

What more then ? Is insatiability to have no limit, whether for blood or for land!

Have not the Jews handed back Sinai, and given more gratuitously ? Have they not given back, to this extent and that,  more and more of the illicitly craved land of the Moslem desire, in violation of the initial international gift to Israel of 1919 ? Now they want yet more, and this is equity ?

Is this intended as some sort of satire about land lust ?

Now they are all ready to endorse the nice Abdullah thought that everything Israel got in the 1967 war to save their very lives from extinction, from blockades, from menace, from loud cries for their total destruction, plus the rest of their ancient capital of nearly a millenium, all this is to be returned. It is not enough that much of what Israel has won while facing clamorous and odious, hostile and anything but equitable PASSION for their EXTERMINATION (pushed into the sea, was one popular concept, and that their very national existence is a catastrophe, is another), is already peaceably given back.

Now more is to be yielded until the loud cries for Israel's destruction, thundering witlessly and woefully for decades, as if Islam  were an executioner and Israel a maiden about to be sliced, are to become fulfilled by international consent, despite the multiplied Arab losses in exterminative war, that did not fair as well as Belsen.

In these wars of 1948, 1967, and 1973, Israel has faced NUMBERS OF NATIONS intent on her destruction, and beaten them  all. Now in international meetings, perhaps they will clamour for more from Israel, and add their weight as if the whole world and all nations are unable to contain, except they back the plurality of Moslems and wield the woes with a combined force. Admirable! So equitable...

That was what the Bible predicted (Zechariah 12), and it has happened (SMR Ch.  9).

There is yet to be an international assault which God Himself is to counter (cf. SMR pp. 510ff.). That will be one more exhibition of an important fact. God is not mocked, and when people who wish to excoriate, humilite and mutilate Israel, itself a subject of DIVINE discipline these many years (cf. Divine Agenda Ch. 8, Galloping Events Ch. 1) for its cumulative sins against the Lord (cf. Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 32), they are meeting a foe which makes the US - now growing so soft on Islamic barbarisms against Israel, merely admonishing - look puny.

It is to come as we have often noted. Observe, quite apart from the actual case as shown in the SMR passage above, the generic detestation which the Almighty harbours against this sort of bullying braggadocio. Look at what He said way back in Jeremiah 30:16:
 

• "Therefore, all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey on you will I give for prey."

So now in a nice quiet way, some admitting that it isn't really quite good enough to slay hundreds of Israelis, and that it should not go on,  while Abdullah notes that strife may be necessary, or else peace, and does not exactly acknowledge the slaughterous disregard of human life, even the very young, involved in this land lust, merely pointing out how reliable the Arabs, the Moslems are to be once Israel has given her throat to their tender grasp (though he did not put it that way, merely requesting ALL that was gained in 1967, when Israel did not lose her life at Moslem hands, has to be returned): THE WORLD IS SO HAPPY.

Is this to be it ?
 
 

Let her give her throat (already very slender, in territorial terms - just look at the map!) to the worthy barbarisms in the Islamic jihad chest, and rest assured, the manners of millenia will change, the graspings of decades will disappear, and although in 1947 the Arabs DECLINED the free gift from the UN of more than they now have, and  although the UN has been consistently anti-Israel in terms of its viable existence, in any practical fashion, yet now something called equity is to arrive, possibly in an air-conditioned Cadillac.

Is it then to view the grizzled remains of the murderous outrages of the implacable insurgents, and declare this to be just a part of a process, the rape of domesticity in the interests of land, land, land, deserving of a fitting reward of half of Jerusalem, and sundry other lands of the miserable fields so far appointed, yes grasped at pain of death, by Israel. Bravo!

And now, on March 29, we learn this, that unanimous is the support for the Abdullah plan, which is merely, GET OUT! and give it all back from the 1967 triumph over the menace of Moslem belligerence. Have they not however been saying that, or something similar,  since and even before Israel was born, when they tried to remove it from ANY existence in 1948, having REJECTED the UN plan which would have made all Jerusalem international, and given the Jews some pitiable pieces of land, here and there.

Have they not been declaring this, vociferously and voluminously, in the days of Nasser, when invasion of Israel and the placement of the Jew in the sea was the objective ? Did they not announce it when they invaded in 1973, also on a Jewish Holy Day, as if to mock them further, something they can manage only because Israel has yet to make peace with the true God of whom it told the world over the millenia, and whom it betrayed! So now they announce it again, killing in a disregard of life and home so spectacular in a Jewish hotel, again on a holy day, yes on the Passover.

The Passover ? Nice touch ? Perhaps they forget Egypt where that day began, and what God has said, even this, that AS in the days of the Exodus from Egypt, SO He will again deliver His people (Micah 7:15). Is there to be a new international Pharaoh ? In any case, the current message, so unctious seeming to some is clear.

Get out! and give us the reward of half Jerusalem and much of your tiny dominion of land, for our slaughterous conduct, our unceasing body language, arming our children, putting them into the front line and complaining of Israeli cruelty, killing settlers and not using the vast Islamic lands on all sides, cheering in cities as Israelis die by cowardice of the first order, and then delusively seeking the congratulation of the Moslems as they so trustingly consign to them as a gift, what they failed to take as a booty: much of Israel!

It sounds entrancing, or rather entranced. Is this a dream ?

Is God to be so mocked ? Has the Islamic Allah who could not win in battle, now to be given bows by all, including the Presidential prayer post, where he was openly addressed in joint prayer, if it could be called that, and to be given further tracts of the Jews' promised land ? and of course half of their singular and single capital, Jerusalem! But why ? Why ? Oh, it is called equity, which apparently means that if you do not there will be such a slaughter of totally innocent parties, in this matter, including babes in arms or in wombs, that you will find it too expensive.

But what has THAT to do with equity ? That is barbaric, nothing less. Is barbarism, then, equity ? is equity barbaric ? Is reason found by bullets ?

Or is it rendered visible by bomb fragments ? is it found by laughing at the Jews' holy day, once more, as was done by the Islamic cause in 1973, also on a major holy day, that invasion! Is such an invasion a guarantee of this thing called equity ? It apparently is a mirthful substitute for inequity, for it appears to mean giving back still more of the little left to Israel, gained by her when international agreement was forgotten, and longstanding promises of nations were breached, so that Islamic peoples were given most of Palestine.
 
 

It seems to mean that what is wrong is made right by making it still more wrong. It is like putting your hands around somebody's throat, and then  apologising for the inequity, and to show your good faith, breaking their neck. Is this equity ? Is it not rather as Isaiah said of the Jews, in their day, now echoed in the Moslem midst,

"Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness is standing afar off,

for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Yes, truth fails; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.

And the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice ..."

How nice for Jerusalem East to become yet one more religious site for Islam, while Israel is to be - equitably ? is that the word ? given half of one. Is it not enough ? One cannot help wondering if half a capital, with the crown of the temple gone, and replaced with a Mosque, would be enough, equitably that is, if Israel had all the Arab oil, and the Arabs had only what Israel now has. In any case, there is no oil for this wound. Only the blood of Christ is available for all this double dealing and iniquity, inequity and barbarism. If this does not purge it, fire burns, and judgment does not settle its accounts in vain.

One is not in the least lacking in sorrow for the Arabs, Moslem or other, who are inflamed in this disgusting and disreputable people murder, this midget mayhem, mordantly multiplied in endless seeming incidence, in which slaughter is to be amid families, in shopping centres, hotels, and all ethics is to be forgotten, only lust for land to be considered, more and more; and now envisaged is more than a mere Mosque, already in the heart of Israel's ONLY religious capital. They want a gift of half of the capital as well.

It is not supplied with such things multiply, as are the Islamic peoples. Nor does one fail to sorrow for all those others who follow idols of their imagination, neglecting the incomparably unique, uniquely valid and rationally demonstrable revelation of God in His immovable word, the Bible, as being from Himself and this without competitor. The same applies to Christ the person as we have seen often before (cf. Repent or Perish Chs.  2, and  7, SMR).

It is not, then,  just for the Moslem one has pity; for their puny power is pitted not against man, but as will be seen after they or their parallels seeking power,  gain a few delusive appearances of victory, in peace procedures as indicated predictively in the Bible (I Thessalonians 5:1ff.,  Daniel 11). It is for all who do not receive in Christ the sole, sufficient sacrifice for sin. There is no other. ANYTHING which rejects Him, being already condemnable for sin, is then also without remedy (John 3:18). That, it becomes fatal (John 3:19 15:22-24).

But what ? God will not alter because men are stubborn, be they atheists, Moslem or spiritist. His own gift, without coercion, but out of love, makes all gifts all but nothing by comparison, that of His only begotten Son, inscribed into human flesh, definitive of His own Being, His eternal word, sent as a Saviour, sacrifice, Lord over death and granter of birth-right in heaven (John 3:16, I John 4:9-11, 5:11-12).

God will not alter because men are stubborn, be they atheists, Moslem or spiritist. His own gift, without coercion, but out of love, makes all gifts all but nothing by comparison, that of His only begotten Son, inscribed into human flesh, definitive of His own Being, His eternal word, sent as a Saviour, sacrifice, Lord over death and granter of birth-right in heaven.

His gift is incalculably costly, irreversibly bestowed, accompanied by peace and of everlasting dimension. But now ignoring the peace of God, there is a war increasingly resembling a religious one. Allah must have more land. Jewish holy days must be desecrated with murder or war as in 1973 and now in 2002. Land, land, land while the Islamic world has such rations of it as to look like a bull beside a chicken, next to Israel.

Now half of the city as well, as if the other half would be save from those with such a record as
this! Then more of this and that, until the rest comes ? Oh shame! But where is this commodity to be found in all this…

Land for life ? It is now the Jewish lives which are being sacrificed, slaughtered with this solemn talk of equity. It is however eternal life which is forfeit for those who, in whatever way, reject Christ for their sins, or try to combine Him, update Him or whatever (they were even trying it in Paul's own day - II Corinthians 11). Whether they do it on the road to world dominion, or regional as in Muhammad's own case, seizing city after city and enforcing his laws among the residual people; or on the road to individual riches or power, it is all one in the end. It is one end without Christ, and this is an endless end,  called everlasting contempt, everlasting destruction, and eating the fruit of your doings (Proverbs 1, Daniel 12, Matthew 13:42, II Thessalonians 1:9).

Israel of course should be given its own land, as offered at the first, as given by God; and if not, then war is the only result, though a short delusive peace appears indicated. So be it. It is a very big gamble, and gambling with God is utter nonsense. You see, He already KNOWS the end, as you see verified and vindicated times almost without number in the Bible record, right up the present, when raging seas are predicted, just as the Greenhouse effect, lately with such drama in Antarctic ice movements, seems indirectly to indicate (Adelaide Advertiser, Mach 27, 2002, page 40, World News).

The melting, the input from glaciers, the detachments and the new forces from increased heat make quite a test-tube. Many have considered the rise imminent, Pacific Islanders are finding it actual, with storms coming further inland, even Manhattan has suffered from an inrush drowning for a time its transport system, predictions vary chiefly on how much, how soon. It is being said that many thought there would be such an effect as that in the Antarctic, but it is the increased RATE which is surprising. Meanwhile, the warming is being considered in the rising level on mountains to which mosquitos come, changing vegetation patterns and effects on a varied assortment of insects aloft, and fish beneath the sea, question even arising as to whether the movement of the fish will coincide with that of their food! Energy release on the one hand, with heat, and water elevation on the other, make for meteorological violence, as if to show to man that his notion of violence in violation of true peace, is not without divine observation or rebuke!

Such terrestrial developments were reviewed from an article in Nature just yesterday, on News Radio.

Luke speaks of this sea scenario in 21:25, just as he speaks of Jerusalem back in Jewish hands (21:24) as a mark of the near return of Christ. That restoration of Jerusalem to Israel does not happen very often - in fact, once in some 1900 years. It has happened now. It is a scene, this Jerusalem of enormous trouble to many, just as predicted in Zechariah 12:1-3, just prior to a vast repentance still to come in Israel, for killing the Christ (12:10).
 

God knows the end from the beginning, and the end of the matter is this, that the beginning has ended, the middle is past, and the end is looming with all that solemn accuracy characteristic of one who knows, as He says:

"Remember the former things of old;
for I am God, and there is none else;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
declaring the end from the beginning,
and from ancient times, the things that are not yet done,
saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure...' " (Isaiah 46:9-10).
 

It is perhaps imagined that OTHERS WILL NOT, or CANNOT so suffer for the ignoring of the true God, the worship of idols and the fiddling with the faith for convenience, opportunism or reward, for safety or for success ? Is God then to be mocked ? Are His words of persuasion, concerning those who use Israel as a mere stepping stone, to be ignored ? Is His justice to be one to be disregarded while the others continue their wild lusts and profound confusion ? God is no respecter of persons. The ultimate judgment is not limited to races but equally or not less available to renegades, rejecters, those who despite the command to repent and believe in the Messiah, Jesus the Christ, whose very date of death was predicted, as known for millenia (cf. SMR pp. 886ff.).

What will not be ignored is this one thing, that while many say what they will do, GOD ALSO DOES IT.

The Jew is not eternally your lampoon and your prey. There is an end to it. The end is vigorous; the correction of the correctors, just as their own ‘corrections’ were vigorous! God’s intervention, be it noted, comes at a point  "when He sees that their power is gone!" (Deuteronomy 32:36).
The greatest danger therefore, for anyone engaged in the blacklisting of Israel, comes just when it seems most successful.
 
 

It is not without a sense of pity that one calls to men, Take care! The blood of Christ is still available. You do not really need to negotiate with the blood (such as is left from the last intimidator, Hitler) of Israel. It will not save.

As for the blood that is needed, that of Christ, they too need it, and many of them God declares, in this coming drama, will take it. With their own saga already before us all, just as Moses foretold, there is excuse for nobody.

There is equally, provision for everybody. There is no limit with God: His love is for the world, not as a system, but as a container unit for people. WHOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21), and those who so come in faith in the ACTUAL God and the SACRIFICIAL SON, thus acknowledging their own deserts and His, simultaneously with it, these are abundantly pardoned (Isaiah 55:6, Romans 3:23ff., Galatians 3:1-13, 5:1ff.), and though their sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow.

So you see, it is not only in black and white from the irreversible word of God, but in red and white, the snow that forsakes the vileness of man's sins, and expresses the very purity of God, as a gift, in Christ.

What a torrent of mercy is His, shining forth like the distant descent of waters on the heights of mountains, clear from afar, delightful when near, delicious when bathed in; and what a cascade of truth is His, coming down the centuries, not like the larva which destroys, but like the clouds continually yielding rain, as hard as necessary, deep in penetration and sure and steadfast in result.

Hear from Isaiah 55 (NAB):

"Why spend your money for what is not bread;
your wages for what fails to satisfy?
Heed me, and you shall eat well,
you shall delight in rich fare.

"Come to me heedfully,
listen, that you may have life.
I will renew with you the everlasting covenant,
the benefits assured to David.

As I made him a witness to the peoples,
a leader and commander of nations,
So shall you summon a nation you knew not,
and nations that knew you not shall run to you,
Because of the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.

"Seek the LORD while he may be found,
call him while he is near.
Let the scoundrel forsake his way,
and the wicked man his thoughts;
Let him turn to the LORD for mercy;
to our God, who is generous in forgiving.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD.

"As high as the heavens are above the earth,
so high are my ways above your ways
and my thoughts above your thoughts.
For just as from the heavens
the rain and snow come down
And do not return there
till they have watered the earth,
making it fertile and fruitful,
Giving seed to him who sows
and bread to him who eats,
So shall my word be
that goes forth from my mouth;
It shall not return to me void,
but shall do my will,
achieving the end for which I sent it.

"Yes, in joy you shall depart,
in peace you shall be brought back;
Mountains and hills shall break out in song before you,
and all the trees of the countryside shall clap their hands.
In place of the thornbush, the cypress shall grow,
instead of nettles, the myrtle.

"This shall be to the LORD’S renown,
an everlasting imperishable sign."
 

But see how the Lord loves detail (cf. SMR pp. 791ff.). Even the sign of the forests, so marked and enduring a feature of the Israel restored (Part I) as in Ezekiel presentation, and now so near to its restoration (Part II), as so clearly demarcated in Ezek. 37. The dead bones first gain PLACE in return to their land, and then GRACE in return to their Lord (37:1-14). Then the Messiah is to be King and no more will they return to idols (37:23-26). And when that grace comes, each apart, each comes, family by family, it is no mere 'national' thing, this grace.

What then of this ?

His love is not merely for peoples, but for individuals, detailed individuals, with decisive and incisive, determined and resolute Gospel, less able to be 'corrected' or changed, than the heavens, which will go, while this, it stays on, and on, like life eternal, the everlasting gospel that governs all assured relations with God.
