MAKING AND DOING

PREPARATION AND OPERATION

CONFUSION AS A CURSE ON  ADVENTITIOUS 'SCIENCE'

It is one thing to prepare something, think it out, assemble the materials for its invention to BE  MADE  to happen.  Itt is quite another to consider HOW it oprates and WHY,  WHEN it IS made.

The one, for example in the case of a car, might involve the purchase of sheetr metal, of wool or synthetic fabric for seats, the assemblage of creative engineers to mould it into components ready for association and so forth.

WHEN ONCE it has both  components and capacities of man and material, and has  actually been constructed, created, brought into being, THEN we have an entirely new situation.

No longer is the aim to institute a case. That is now done, finished. The car or other invention is there. Now it is available  for a new study"  how it works. In general terms, that is the legitimate data-based and tested, work of human science.

In broader terms, this is the difference between theology and science. In particular, logic in the form of Christian Apologetics tells us what is its source; science tell us what is its  manner of working once it IS made.

To confuse these two entirely different activities, with their diverse aims and resources and necessities, is like confusing alphabetical letters with numbers. It is however a confusion so great that it makes nonsense of the misuse of 'science' to tell us how it came to be, rather than how it works. Never is DNA found BEING written in innovative form, for this is the making phase, and it needs moire than observation of the WAY it works and WHY it works ONCE it IS made to determine HOW it was made.

Only scientism presents this as science, and to endeavour to determine how or why the thing in view was made from how it operates now that it is made, resembles finding out  how to create a rocket ship from how it can manoeuvre once flying in space.  Indeed, to insist that its method of working , once it is made and operative, MUST tell us how it was made only makes the confusion error seem obsessively intrusive as well.

So are whole generations (or their majority) misled.
