Sermon 6

Today, we are prepared to complete the six sermons on NOTHING ELSE, commenced on September 9.

For this last case, we have here a separate sheet, to be read however in conjunction with the original four sheets.  This present Sermon 6, then, relates to items 25 and 26, and the finale on those sheets. The finale is reproduced, differently set out,
at the end of this sheet. Today's sub-title in the six is:

THE ORIGINAL FORM OF THE FINALE

The prodigies of creation are paralleled by those of salvation
wrought by the same Word of God, incarnate as Christ; and

the work God gives in His name has unparalleled power and wisdom
, grace and love, mercy and wonder, incomparable in scope and sovereign warrant (Matthew 28:19-20, Philippians 4:4-6).

Faith, in repentance, receives eternal life from its object, Jesus Christ, eternal Word of God, in creation, salvation and redemption (Luke 13:1-3, John 8:24, 6:48-51).

Walking with the Lord is a work of wonder, filled to the brim with the beauty of His holiness, requiring courage and granting peace (Isaiah 35, I Thessalonians 514-24, I John 1:7-2:2).
