NINE
THE ULTIMATE SINGULARITY
SPEAKING OF SINGULARITY
A single man is not a singularity; he simply lacks a wife.
A separate country, with strict immigration laws, like Switzerland - recently making them very strict indeed, to the lamentation of some in their midst - is not a singularity. It simply lacks an open door to many.
A lonely earth, if it alone inhabited space, but others might 'come', would not be a singularity, but simply lack companions in a capacious setting.
To be really singular, you have to be so distinguished in the relevant field or category, that there is nothing quite like you, so that there is something nearing the induplicable in kind about you. You stand out like a white sheet on the sand. Otherwise the very use of the term 'singularity' is becoming rather singular, esoteric, rather than relating aptly to the field spoken about.
Suppose now, instead of having the earth alone in space, as we imagine things in order to gain a more realistic perspective, instead of just casting words about, that we have a singular beginning to the earth. In this case, there has never been anything else like it. It is not a type of thing proceeding from an observable basis, but a truly singular event. Inhabitable worlds do not just pop in and out, and all the thrill of search for them and their lively products has often translated into a virtual set of worlds, not mirrored either in science or by logic as support.
We have not observed earth being so started, installed, brought into being. Nor for that matter have we noticed space being instituted, or time. Certain interactions of various forces and entities are observable; but the creation of universes is not one of them. We do not have a base for this TYPE of thing, amongst its own orders.
In this universe, there IS a singularity, that more are not found. There is another, that no means for them are found, within this one. There is another, that logic IS found both in its investigability and for voyages of discovery in our own minds, so that the minding or intellectualised state of both our minds and the nature of the universe is common to both. It is certainly singular that there is a unity in logic, in this matter, within and without.
In our own midst, there are many things that happen, many laws by which they happen, and there is also a madness for the mind of man, to break those laws, breach order, even the bodies of other persons, and to act as if his own mind were the nearest source there is to the beginning of all things, in this, that what it finds is binding on fact and reality, both, which will be MADE to fit with it.
But that is really his spirit, caught in this subjective malfeasance. His mind does not, when effective, act thus; for if it did, he would never progress. That is, his adventures would not be cogitative and confirmatory and investigatively verified, but a series of foozles. Certainly he has regressed into intellectual barbarism with his absurd singularity vision, and all that it portends and he intends; but if he were to act like this in the common light of day in conducting his affairs, it would be a fantasising mess: so he keeps his wits for smaller things.
So now we have three singularities. More universes are not found (let us keep to what is to be found, like realists); causes for any universe are not found within the confines of this one, let one in operation; mutual investigability is to be found, in the lock-in of logic in our minds if disciplined, and in our world; and an explosive spirit is to be found amid mankind, which despises limits, ignores facts and dreams of many things, such as controlling the singularities in some way. This is an abuse of his highly capable spirit; but that is part of the freedom which he possesses, to fight reality and even for a time, to enjoy the challenge.
In social format, all but endlessly those in this tyrants, whether elected as in Australia, or elsewhere, gaining enough power to govern, INSIST that we be taught, instructed, washed and hung up to dry on their latest nostrum. Schools and universities, colleges and culture have been spoken of, often more this in much detail*1; but the point is clear. You must believe in the scheme that nature made itself out of nothing, or out of what had no cause. Otherwise it is God, who is summarily dismissed as an operating and effectual entity in many of these sites, as on TV and books aplenty, almost without thought, as if it were a kind of philosophic tic in the face of the mind of man.
Australia indeed is not like those who kill in millions to render their spirits content, with the latest nostrum, say a Stalin or Mao or Hitler, or the many petty dictators who have racist conceptions, or philosophic dynamics so that many die and are impoverished and hated, while others are bloated, a common scene in many phases of the spectrum of heroics which infests the mind of many, like lice. However the tyranny against truth in functional and operational reality in its educative modes becomes merely more brutally like an assassination of THE singularity, who in fact had the power to make what being made, has the susceptibility to investigation which we in fact find, and the capacity to be, which we likewise discover.
THE SINGULAR SLAUGHTER
and the Ramifications
THAT SINGULARITY cannot now be murdered or educated or suppressed or squalidly and sordidly imprisoned and passionately called to be crucified. That side of things is quite finished. Once is enough, both for an outlet to deluded man in his mounting spirit to take charge of affairs, and for the remission of the sins in allowing himself the folly of trying to do so, or even thinking of it, as well as for the submission to delusion, to conceive of such a thing. John 11 gives here a relevant exposition of the mind of Caiaphas, from his own lips. Certainly God conceived it first*1A, that man would do it, and specified the date and the method and many associated events, such as the scorn, derision and torture inflicted, as well as the resurrection and the Gospel associated with it and its results, both to sweep through the world, and to be increasingly turned from as the oven smells indicated the goose was well nigh cooked. But that merely accentuates His purpose and man's need.
God can no longer, being in human form for His saving function, be found for torture. But mankind is still eminently vulnerable, and especially is this true of the young, who become a target, where except for the Lord's intervention, truth lies desolate (Isaiah 59:14), though because God is its source, this is merely an episodic horror leading to the ruin of the forces of ruin (Isaiah 59:18-21).

If you would like to be singular, then here is a singular thing indeed, in type; to denounce with ostensible use of reason, the reason for your having reason, dismissing it as you use it. The reason for your having reason is no reason! Magnificent ... how is it ever even conceived! The source is the absence of the product, in kind and relevance, actuality and potential. What an amazing selection, as maladroit as conceivable, as brazen as any other propaganda since the world began.
But as to extent of this malady, masterful like many a disease when the patient is overpowered, it is not so singular, for it begins to circumnavigate the world, like Vikings in its exploration for new harbours, places to invade. It is fashionable, and when man is in that current, there is scarcely any madness of spirit, lust of mind or power of body which he will not stoop to utilise.
THE OSTENSIBLE SINGULARITY
WHICH MULTIPLIES CONFUSION
But let us revert to the current ostensible singularity, the be all and end all type of scenario, from which nothing brings on quite a cast, and chance in what is not there, has quite an output, and begging the question becomes à la mode. We move in our imaginations, without warrant and in the face of endless apparitions to remind us of folly, which arise as we go, to the new territory. Education is currently most popular, under a ministry of misinformation.
But first let us revisit the scene of irrational revelry, or dream if you prefer, the supposed singularity.
It is well-bred this singularity. Look at its starting point in the Big Bang method of exploding into being from ... no known source, but a bit. There is quite a bit in this bit.
It has pressure and power and precision and potential to explode into law, and thrust from only conceivable minuteness, into vastness. Space awaits it. Time pants for its happening qualities. Stark wonder would be the place of any to observe this imaginative work of the spirit of man, translated by authority into some kind of feasibility; but not otherwise. Force and pressure of almost inconceivable kind ally themselves with almost unspeakable compression. What is compressed ? It is too little to know. So we start with time and space and compression and force and being and events minimised but about to become maximised. The world would look on, stunned if only such things were feasible; though they are not, for it has yet, in this scene of archaic wonder, to BE there.
From this highly engineered and exceedingly constructed beginning, in which unknown powers are at work, and have been at work, so that the singularity can BE there, and the space and powers and orders and laws it is about to invent can come there, for it is always true that you do not get oranges from thistles, nor mathematical wonder from morons, far less from nothing: from this, then, we look forward ? No, to be logical, as in any invention, we must look to the background to find its authenticity (for example that someone else had made it first and this fellow showing it now as if it just happened to be there is a charlatan, in normal procedure).
What made being ? What made existence ? What made potential (for this pseudo-singularity has ENORMOUS potential - its denial would remove all possibility of action, rationally). What made time ? What made space ? so that at time space might prove so accommodating to this unheard of imaginative thing, whatever it is that is to be father of the universe and all the mind and spirit and matter and order and law and organisation that is in it.
What made properties, describability, reason with which to do it, and such a mistake as to believe that in arranging a series of enormous powers and potentials amid the site for space and time, all coming for some ignored reason or other, unless reason be disjoined and this be acknowledged as but a dreams; and how did they come ? For what reason did non-reason make things happen ? How indeed if it is non-reason, is it possible to ask for a reason, and thus even to argue about it, using a model denying your contention!
But no one thinking coherently, can imagine this reasonable, to deny what is to have all conformed to it!
Again, what made testability, agility of mind and power to receive or to deceive ? Bits of material invented from nowhere in a compressed spot immensely little, where anything might do well to exist, but yet existing for no known reason, so that everything else can come from this question-begging beginning for no reason ? is this the idea. And the bits*1C ? Whence they ? and the reason for the pressure in explosive magnificence, and for its limits as in the Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy, or its opposite move, as in the Second Law of Thermodynamics, or its power to make life as in the Law of Biogenesis, so that it is all ordered and organised and conformed*!D. Who makes the conformities ?
Who imposes these limits, constraints, mirroring creation and degradation over time ? Magic is the only other option, and it is merely an illicit or covert appeal to the supernatural of some kind. We are not interested in the quirky, but the demonstrations of reason, and its disposition to show us the necessary revelation for what has been made, so that we might the better use our lives, environment and find our destiny outside fancy. Ignore laws and what is the point of thinking ? acknowledge them, and what they portend, and what is the point of pretending ? These are laws of creation - so that things can be on a verified ground, not just drifting in and out of existence on no basis and for no reason - and degradation as creation approaches its use-by date, or scenario for judgment, or both.
THIS ostensible singularity is ANYTHING but singular. It is a hotch-potch of ideas without warrant, a nascency without origin, a potential without basis, and it produces without mind, the habiliments of mind, and indeed many minds with such agility and inventiveness that they even thought it up.
Such a paraphernalia of imagination merely oppresses thought, making fancy queen.
It merely makes it harder. Hard indeed is it to create bounded, describable existence in its categories*!E, with its varied characteristics, lush with law, surrounded with limits, ordered and co-ordinated. Yet to put it under pressure before exploding into anything remotely like what we have, and to have it all come from an unknown squashing, for an unknown reason, and to stop at limits for an unknown reason, and to continue in the ways of law so intense that scientists are forever looking for more: to do this is like teaching a child to read, but showing him the characteristics of 14 languages before coming to the notion of words. It merely magnifies the task, and in this our present case, marshalls the realities to come from tremendous, ruinous power, invented inadvertently or from nothing, moving into glorious multiplicity of life and structure. Fairy tales might pall in seeing such imagination.
Indeed, all is to come from a vastly wrought up state, as if an ultimate weapon of destruction had already reached the impressively compressed source of all things, and reduced it to almost unimaginable ruin. Now it must be the orderly origin of things precise and pretty, judgmental and joyous, logical and brilliant, legal and legislative, inventing all things needed for such antics on the say, drawing on the same source as for the beginning itself: NOTHING. Surely it is fair and reasonable to say this: there is nothing in it, it is founded on nothing, bounded by nothing, brought to existence by nothing, and on blocs of kind in the result, has nothing to thank. It is all a thing of nothing, suppressed as to its immigration papers, if that were possible, a giant illusion, a collision of concepts, a self-contradictory womb, that has to be there in no body, to produce all. If this is not fantasy, what could be ?
OTIOSE, THE THING IS DECLARED TO BE,
ONLY BY FLATTERY
To say that this is otiose, wearisomely ludicrous as a rational account of the source of force and time and potential and law and thought and spirit, is flattery. It assumes the major things and puts them at the supposed outset in the most ruinous format involving the most intricate powers conceivable, and voids reason, which has so much to do, to put it there, acknowledging nothing. Nothing however will not do.
Nothing does not do ANYTHING, now or ever; for otherwise it is something with potential. So something put it there, in this exceedingly ill-advised and utterly adverse situation, all boundlessly compressed. If not, it is mere question begging, taking for no reason and from nothing and nowhere all that is deemed to be needed, though in fact it is not nearly enough, at that.
Now if I told a child that his teddy-bear came from a singular of pre-bear, compressed to the point utterly unknown, for no reason, by nothing, and that the entire bearness came from this amazing intricate, complex and unimaginable notion - as far as reason is concerned - would he regard me as slightly off mind, or more so ? It would depend on his age, or love of flirting with fact and letting fancy rove. A small smile might adorn his face as he got into the spirit of make-believe.
Had he not seen sewing and material and stuffing ? Very possibly. Is this farce a fantasy for fun, or what in the world is being done with words by trhe speaker to him ? The smile deepens. Did Santa Claus do it ? he asks, having already found out about that, and loving the spirit of adventure away from reality into which we are apparently entering.
Are we to be more naive than a small child! No, one finds no reason for it; for it is a galaxy of assumptions, based on nothing with no observable means for it, in a situation shut up to nature, conveniently in this tidy format for no reason, and about to explode into even more inexplicable existence than it already has. There is then this awesome option. You can mock reason, while using it for the sake of your conceptual invention, this singularity, and so become irrelevant to logic; or you can defend your idea. You can give reasons for it, as an explanation of all that is.
But this you cannot rationally do; for as seen above, vast panoramas of things that are, are simply given place without ground or origin or basis. This is utterly illicit. It is like a problem in mathematics. Show that this is so, asks the teacher in geometry, for example. Well, you say, if this law were assumed, and that one, and these conditions were granted, and those connections and correlations were in place, then we could begin to see a way. Nought, says the examiner. You have imagined into existence, without ground, what is the ground of your ideas. There are twenty assumptions, none verified or reasoned to, and if you want that, you might as well just assume the answer as well. Further, even given all this stuff you invent and require, your answer even then does not make the grade. You have many steps further on, not matched by grounds of any kind, even by those you assume, these further steps being unavailable even on your premises, and themselves contrary to reason.
It would be hard to imagine a worse case, if the child hoped to pass. It would be a passing out parade, or a fainting fit that might ensue. The child had let imagination stun him, and hard work escape his unwearied brow.
So is the structure of the case here. You cannot assume for no reason in the ultimate, for there is nothing there for its arrival. The base and the basis HAS to be competent and creative and comprehensive and always there, for at this level, if it is ever not there, it never will be. Nothing is like that. If the basis is not there, neither will be anything else. If it is, then always there, it must be always competent for all that is to be. If it is to do so by means of programs, then it has to be sufficient to make them, for remember, there is in this case by definition, nothing else there. We are seeking to account for everything and cannot have nubilous nothings hanging about to give us a leg up from time to time. It is too late to have them coming along after all there is has been announced.
ACTUAL SINGULARITY MULTIPLIES MARVELS,
for a GOING CONCERN

WHAT CAN NO LONGER PRODUCE
IS SINGULARLY INEPT AS THE SOURCE!
Thus you need the comprehensively and coherently adequate ground for all the stuff thrust into being and existence and power and potential and noted as the source of all law and thought and order and organisation, at the singularity stage. The singularity is not so singular after all, but a derivative of what is, which has always had the potential to make the actual and did so as desired. What can't do it, doesn't. A big brother may do it for him; but if he is incapacitated, he lacks the power. Other things may do it for him, but he cannot. The imagined base seeks support from the government of reason, and being self-defined, cannot find it. It must go to where it is.
This is the actual SINGULARITY, for the singularity is the ultimately omni-competent being, eternal and adequate to invent whatever was in mind when creating minds and conditions of thought and validity (which did not come from nowhere), and verification.
A sequence of this-making-that is irrelevant, in terms of the actual Singularity, since the system of this making that would have first to be invented, with the this and that series. In accounting for things, whether in accountancy or in any other field, you cannot just invent things, like hidden accounts which had neither source nor reason. You account thus for things; for that is the task. You have to face and account for facts. Fail to do this and you are merely talking astray.
But there is another singularity, though only a modified one. It is a singular thing that the invention of all the assumed things, so adverse to creation, imagined as the source of it, in this segment of thought, separate from any basis in reason or consistency, does not account for what is supposed to happen, EVEN AFTER its invention! Instead, it is contradicted by what is found. It is as if the teddy-bear singularity not only was simply blindly imagined in the first case, so contributing nothing to the bear, but could not sew, could not understand sewing, had no notion of thread or how to make it, and so on and on.
Thus as seen in TMR Ch. 7*2, there are structured scenes near what is imagined to be near the first in the explosive mode of having made things make other made things. There appears structure in space itself. There is a need to have vast amounts, overwhelming in percentage of dark matter, and to have energy, which in addition to being a source for power has to be in this case a source for law and form and format and logic, but not just specialised energy, but energy of a negative kind, not to be found. In addition there has to be an enormous collection of anti-matter to weigh in against matter to balance it, as required for bringing energy into harness for matter. Make matter from appropriate energy, and you make anti-matter to matchp but it is not there to match.
This is not there. The negative energy*3 is not found. Neither negative energy nor dark matter are to be found as required for the case, nor anti-matter. Things clump too soon in the scenario. Just as space is found to be structured, so supernovas conform to a young age for the universe ... the list goes on. The cosmological constant does not present itself in a conceivable dress. It is very great, very small, dismissible, essential, unknown as to cause, as to importance, argued about.
Things do not work out. Professor Hartnett*3 has an hypothesis to deal with the anti-matter, and negative energy side, and to gain access to the dark matter problematics constructively.
The basis Hartnett seeks to give, in terms of biblical data, and logical structure, does not require, we are advised, all these unbased grounds such as noted. This, he is quick to announce, does not make it the ultimate explanation at the physical level. It is just that it removes the add-on nature of the material singularity, or the energic one, in the naturalistic hypothesis, which is really so like a fairy-story with its efforts just to add this and that, as it goes on, till it becomes like a patch-work quilt, made only of patches, even the thread re-used.
His work in such fields, like that of Humphreys, has some attraction. Here are investigative tools as to what parts of creation may have been left in the visible realm. In this, it is like seeing what pens and pencils and notes an author may have had in writing, for the writing is entirely one (creative) type of thing, and the product is entirely another. By contrast with the creation, the product is relatively static, not dynamic, inscribed, not inscribing, product of imagination, not imagination itself.
As to anti-matter, its relative absence is a simple matter in terms of causation. If matter were created as one item (like an empty book, something nevertheless very stylised) and energy were made available in suitable format (like release of funds from a bank account in normal commerce), then limited interchangeability would simply be an item of their possible co-function. There is no question of interchange, but facilities for exchange. Further tie-ups would be a matter of no particular interest: it is simply a question of whether any such versatility in any element were in mind; or not.
In the end, since actualities of reason require creation of all the ingredients in essence, and matter and energy, though having some modes in certain cases, of interchange, are matters like man, for receiving, each one, its own creation, all in essence not being derivative from any one thing, but from the Creator of the complex and its purpose, what follows from the anti-matter deficiency ? It is simple: anti-matters failure to show up in quantities as required, attests that the origin of created matter was not from created energy. 'These were not a composite, but a separable in actualisation. Any degree of interchange in degree is merely an empirical fact, of some interest. The laboratory evidence merely confirms that each was a separate mode in creation. In fact, in creating modes of energic power, of configured matter, the Creator is simply using tools, with variable impact, as He will.
Pen, electric type-writer, computer, program: it is all a matter of choice. That is the way with creation. You cannot predict the precise procedures; rationally, at least, you inspect the result and allow your mind to be informed by what you find. This of course is the same in the affair of types of biological beings, kinds: it is a matter, as Denton is so emphatic in showing, of finding what is there and what is not. Continuity here, he declares after much detailed attestation, is found ONLY in the MIND of man*4! It is not in nature.
In its origin from the Actual Singularity, competent for all phases of creation, mind, matter, spirit, and its earthly manifestation and environment, there is no need to seek total interchangeability, any more than there is for a commuter to have a car which can become a bike which can become a taxi, all rolled into one impressive compression. It is the need which is one; not the means. The 'bang' is not one of nature nurturing itself into existence or on the basis of magical existence and exploding into law and order, a frankly ridiculous impression of compression and dis-cohesion; it is rather a flash of inspiration, imagination, conception, ordered creation, in short form putting into existence (as on a minor scale, mini-creators do, this being within the nature of creativity), what had been in mind, so that the mental criteria being rendered into material format, the excursion should be fulfilled.
That is a splash of energy, not mere material energy, since material things are merely one aspect or department of what is made. The issues of law and form and conception and command and incursion of ideas, format and formation of coherent inter-related and more isolated elements, all these come with all the competence and multiplied relationship to thought that is the observable nature of creation. Of this, as in moving matter about, so in imagination, we are all experientally rich in knowledge!
The Creator has no compulsion, is not required to balance forces and forms in order to invent them.
In short, when you seek to imagine your way into being and existence and law and mind and matter and energy, it does not work. When you try to make nature, surreptitiously, and just present it as a wholly unrecognisable compressed entity, as if being small makes small the grounds for its existence, while the case is the precise opposite, then you simply cannot make, even granted the enormous question-begging and inadequate base imagined: you cannot make things come from things as desired.
That is not the way they were made, there being channels and modes, and laws and procedures, and inter-connections and depositions as in any creation. That therefore is not the way they are found. You have to observe the evidence. They simply do not come in this total and continual sequence of this already there making that. There are relationships and there are lines of development, which are to be found by observation. There are things discrete and things connected, and the modes are as found, NOT as simply imagined, whether biologically or in broader astral concerns. Trolls and giants coming from unknown lands to help the mystique of the story are fine for fantasy; but when you are dealing wiht the totality at the outset, and define it, then there is nowhere else to come from; you are then a captive to your conception. When it fails, so does your dream. Evidence as well as logic: they matter, whether about matter, mind or spirit.
Dr Roger Gallop, in his work, EVOLUTION, The Greatest Deception in Modern History, in Appendix C notes that there has never been observed any unequivocal arrival of the more advanced. That is, some things may be beneficial to continued existence in a special case, but their additive character to the progress of the kind is not found. A dented car might just fit in a narrow garage, whereas one not dented might not; but this is no advance in the domain of cars, the issue.
Legion are the non-conformities of ideas to verifications, in the naturalistic imaginations. Language of the most sophisticated character, unification of that language for use throughout all of life, continuation of kinds for thousands of years and multiplied programmatic style of automated labour for new generations, in much, and the linguistic commands required for this, incisiveness of thought amid possibilities illustrated in the domain of conception and command, for man, conscious power to think about options and to discard them for logical failure or empirical absence of confirmation: these things are merely a surface check on the nature of being, and the necessity for grounds for it.
Vast domains of intellectual property are made manifest, organised, being mathematical in routine, brilliant in miniaturisation, competent for reproduction in life, over generations; and the routing for their arrival is from a source sufficient is not to be found in what merely possesses these, inanimate nature.
Such provisions do not exist (cf. The Wit and Wisdom of the Word of God Ch. 2, The gods of naturalism have no go! 21). Efforts to force life to provide the answer are in vain. It is not like that. It will not co-operate (TMR Ch. 1, *2).
Nor is it a one by one matter; for they are all there, in assemblage, in total working order, a series, a series of series, commands indicative of intrusion, impulsion, compulsion (cf. Waiting for Wonder Appendix); and for that you need a total working to enable it to be so, and for that the Actual Singularity to do the work, being multiplicity competent and capable of the intrusive innovation of command. It is a case of specifications requiring operational basis, including that for existence in this delimited and ordered and constrained format that we find.
When you lose the fairy-tale dimensions of the imaginary, a combination of begging the question and ignoring the evidence, then facing the Actual Singularity is number one in priority. He indicates in the only testable and verifiable and validated book in existence concerning Himself*5, that you need to repent. He has personal laws as well as material ones, and as we have both personal and material elements, we can learn about the one and take the other to heart. That is one thing to do, when you have a heart. We are so made.
These not-so-singular naturalistic, contra-evidential imaginations are mere make-believe, not adequate for life, and justly assignable to failure and folly by the One who did (cf. Jeremiah 2:27).
As to repentance, Luke 13:1-3 dwells on that. You need to make peace with this One, who ways are indeed singular. If you were Einstein you would have had a comparatively singular series of conceptions as far as our race is concerned (though not absolutely so). That comes from the capacity to have and to house them. God is the source of mind as of matter, and as such, it is His mind that is utterly singular, although through creation, its methods are multiplied in much in our own minds, enabling us to review what He has done, irrationally or reasonably, as we will. What is His mind concerning each one of us ? That is the question.
THE SINGULARLY SAVING WORK OF GOD
We find in the Bible that repentance is INTO LIFE, in terms of what God has done (Acts 11:18), this time not just at the physical level, for our environment, but at the spiritual level, for the environment of our lives (cf. Sinners Only). There is a deficit in our accounts for our unreasoned errors, our wilful deeds and foolish enterprises in things little as well as large. It is even more in this spiritual sphere, divinely ordered and equipped with laws, than is the material universe; for there, deterioration of the matrices can bring degradation, as in DNA, interfering with the applicability of law, as shown by Professor Sanford of Cornell University. Here, in the spiritual realm of the God of all creation and glory, there is no diminution of the application.
Indeed, here is perfection, for the nearer to God Himself you go, the more apparent is perfection; and the more personal is the concourse, the more intimate is that perfection which being more than consummation, since it ever is, savours of the eternity of blessedness for man which is to come. Now it is as a child (I Cor. 13), then as what has become a man; now with knowledge even of the deep things of God (I Cor. 2:9ff.), but then surrounded by them in a concourse giving new depths to the very realm of perfection for man. For now we find Him, and then we shall see Him; now we find Him near; then we shall see His face. Laws for matter with their minutiae and at times grandeur, give place to what never vanishes away, as the heaven and the earth, having done their exquisite job, will do. Indeed. Here we come to a special lustre, a glory of completed wonder in itself, foundational, and never to alter.
There is the celestial abode, not a camp, but a home when the time comes. Now is the longing, the vision, the enclosure of security, the spiritual tang and blessed power, the insight and the flow of grace; then sight discloses it direct.
In the face of law, even moral law, right here and now, spiritual terms which do not pass away, we come to an enlargement of mercy so that even the breach of spiritual law might not be the end, but the ground requiring us to present ourselves for pardon, to gain peace, and be restored to truth (cf. Titus 2-3). Here the gap is covered by grace, wrought in Chris's sacrifice, and this stands as everlasting Rock. In heaven, the prevailing Rock has already prevailed at every level: there will be no further curse, nor standing for evil to thrust; and mortality shall cease! (Revelation 21:4, 22:3, Hebrews 12:23, I Cor. 15:54).
Why is this so ? It is because God, being merciful in heart, knowledgeable in wisdom, intent in love, took action, took all necessary action for redemption. He acted at the heights to cover the depths, moving in spirit and in willingness to perform His blessed counsel.
God took action. We must do so no less, though our level be lowly. We may elect to be lordly, and so defiled, thrust past pardon, with blessing cast aside, to inherit desolation that is such indeed (John 3:36); or responding to the sublimity of divine grace, come to become children of God (John 1:12, I John 1, 3).
Nor is this a mere transactional analysis matter. It is He who, thrusting forth to become man, the Word of God Eternal to be God incarnate as Christ the Lord, paid the ransom sufficient for all, applicable to all, free for all, but paid only for those who receiving it, activate mercy. It is a cheque that never bounces, and is never paid into null accounts, where the heart is not willing, nor the mind ready (cf. Proverbs 1, Hebrews 6, 10, Isaiah 53:3-5, Romans 8:32). This ransom is paid in the relevant mode, and this time that is life itself, so that the ransom is in death. Thus in heart and sacrificial intensity, He has acted so that He might bring back to life eternal, what has mired itself up in merely naturalistic notions coming from proud flesh, in whatever format it chooses, that invents what it will. Ignoring reality.
Thus has it become like a pirated ship, or a snatched plane. If it prefers to blow itself up, that is an option; but the end of spirit is not as the end of matter (John 3:36). If instead it comes to Him, as is fitting, then His ransom is gifted, like a flock of multi-coloured parrots, soaring through the receptive sky, burnished with light, flashing with exquisite design. His design is the plan of salvation, and it is even more fitting for the spirit of a man, than is the genome for his body. That fails; this does not (I John 3:1-3).
Where however is this ransom told us ? That is found in Matthew 20:28. God, who having served in making the universe, served in making a way back for man.
As for mankind, in the universe, though at the outset and in the onset, he has defied reality and inherited wrath (Ephesians 2:12, 4:17-19), this not least being the precise fruit of his own doings (Proverbs 1:31, Romans 5:1-12), seeking cruelty for cruelty, as folly exacts revenge, and murder determines to kill in exchange, or evasion in place of truth: yet is there hope.
Instead of his just due, he is offered deliverance in stringent mercy, effectual pardon and regenerated life (Micah 7:19ff., John 5:24, Romans 3:23ff., Titus 3:4ff). That service of cover on the part of Christ, included payment for all moral debts and spiritual vices and follies, duly met by death, its projected date as shown in advance for this same Jesus, in Daniel 9:24-27 (cf. The Christian Prescription Ch. 2). This being the spiritual axis for creation, that any should endure, is given in the Bible, not only as to its then coming date, but as in Isaiah 49-55, as to the majesty of the One incarnated, and the reason for and exacting nature of the event. In this, as in Psalm 22*1A, 16, 40, 69 and in much more, it is shown in its epochal place on this site, this earth, indeed, as accomplished in Jerusalem.
This payment has to be accepted, as you see in John 1:12, if you want to inhabit eternity, finding peace that is justified in its basis, and cover for your soul before God (Romans 4:25-5:1). It is with intensive reason*5A presented (Philippians 1:7, II Cor. 10:5, I Peter 3:15, Isaiah 41, 44, 48); but you have in fact to receive Christ and His work by faith, in trust, so acquiring this, His gift through grace (Romans 5:15), receiving what is freely given, even pardon and peace, by virtue of the special service of the Messiah (Matthew 20:28), so long and in so much foretold, shown not only in His crucifixion, but concerning His time to judge (cf. Acts 17:31).
How good that it is not necessary to face judgment, if saved now; for in His death, He has provided the joint services of bearing the guilt and penalty of sin vicariously, out of mercy, and of showing something of what sin looks like.
The fact that it is crime against deity, be it spiritual or moral or ethical or personal or bodily or mental, that is seen in its outline, etched on His flesh, pounding His mind, contrasts so sharply with His sovereign, but here suffering beauty and majesty, that it fills the eye with the sight of mortality, and thrusts home to the spirit with the sanctity of truth.
Indeed, in His bearing it, He exhibited to one as to all, its cruelty and disruption its callousness on the one hand, and callowness on the other.
His cover was complete (cf. Ephesians 1:6, Hebrews 9:12ff.); His transferred power for service remains blessedly sufficient (Ephesians 1:19, II Cor. 3:5). For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living (Romans 14:9).
As He was mocked, on the one hand, and exhausted in Himself, the controlling dynamic of sin, so does He confer for overcoming as the flesh seeks war with the spirit; and He prevails (Galatians 5, John 8:34-36). Thus mockery becomes a prelude to His own mastery in the lives of His children (Romans 6, John 8:34-36). There is only the gaunt face of envy and fraud, that mocks His prevailing over death, and in life, for His people. Thus He is the way; but also the life (John 14:6).
To receive Him in this capacity becomes the ready road to peace. This, it is not a singularity based on nothing, coming from nowhere, simply assumed now; but it is one coming from the Eternal God, whose everlasting existence is the source of time as we know it, and life and spirit and opportunity and potential as He enables it, as in the mind of a babe to render it mature. Those, He declares (John 1:12), who do so receive Him have authority to become the children of God. That, it is a development of infinite worth.
As things have to be BROUGHT into existence in the ultimates, that they might be, so this salvation had to be brought into existence likewise, to meet the case which, though foreknown (Romans 8:29ff.), did require action. Now that it is in existence, man being prepared for it over predictive millenia by the word of God, to reject it is not only to reject reason, which requires the Bible as noted, but the very righteousness of God which is a pre-condition for peace and eternity. Only God lasts forever, other things being subjected to the reduction of available energy, even in terms of the observable, and to the ageing that lies in the temporal. To give eternity, everlasting life giving life (I John 1:1-2), is a specific and specialised act. It is the most valuable gift in the world, since it is such for the very adopted children of God (Ephesians 1:5-14, I John 3:1-3, John 1:1-14, 8:58, Romans 6:23).
Law and love have one thing in common. They both proceed from what is competent to feel, think and install them. Man is free to love, this freedom one of the greatest and most amazing of inventions; though like love, it can be soured or scarred or misused or abused till it scarcely resembles the original, like a car crashing. Still, it is there*6, and the Creator has His own ways of restoration. Here, first, as in the foundation of the universe, so in the foundation of the saved soul, there is HIS own desire for it. Hence He made it, sent His eternal Word as a child to become man and show not only in Person who He is, but in practice what is in His heart for man (as in Titus 2-3, John 3, II Corinthians 5, Ezekiel 33:11).
Hence that child, where in love God incarnate was lodged (Micah 5:1-3), being grown, manifested as man the glory of God (II Corinthians 4:6),and died in the place of many (Isaiah 53:1-6). As for those who receiving Him, are healed, we there read, He has borne their sin, their guilt in one capacious act, one for many, that many might be for one (cf. Matthew 26:28-29).
This is the second SINGULARITY. The first Actual Singularity is the One who made the universe as a derivative and constrained, delimited existence. Just as this First Major Singularity in Action for us, is the creation of the universe, so the Second Major Singularity is the creation of salvation for us, by action taken among us (as in Philippians 2). This contains the resultants, such as the resurrection (as in Philippians 3:19ff., Luke 24). That brings eternity near to man, not by trying to make matter master, which fails, this not being appointed: but by receiving the Creator as Saviour and Master, whose masterful making of the matrix and provision of mercy to man, makes Him beyond all comparison.
To be sure, God is utterly singular, as Micah 7 is given to declare:
Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity,
and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage?
He does not stay angry for ever, because he delights in mercy.
He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us;
He will subdue our iniquities;
and You wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea."
That is going back to the basis in God Himself and His exuberantly glorious nature, and then on to the point where you know the Maker, self-identified in the Bible and in Jesus Christ in fulfilment of it in power and precision. This is the provision which led to a new beginning being made mandatory, as observed before (Ezekiel 18:31), but now made more manifest (John 3, II Corinthians 5:17ff.).
This is necessary, as is sprouting for a seed; and in a way, it is like re-installation on your computer, but of course personal. This is a better way based on a better Person, Jesus the Christ, who has an actual competency and authority, and whose word carries such power that never has anything in the universe been able to subdue it. Even when coming as a sacrifice for sin, He first predicts it a millenium or so in advance, and in increasing detail during that period (cf. Barbs ... 17), and sets this heart of the matter in a comprehensive and written survey of the spiritual actions and intentions for man, and the way his world will develop as judgment day comes near to arrival (cf. Answers to Questions Ch. 5, SMR Ch. 8).
He is the Rock (Ch. 2 above), and it is necessary to rest on Him, or be swept like chaff (Psalm 1). That is the position, and no words will ever change it (cf. Matthew 24:35). But what a wonderful position it is: it is not founded on information alone, but like our bodies, and minds,
on

These touch on dark matter, negative energy and anti-matter alike, not tangentially, but in substance.

From what is above and what is to be found in endnote *1 below, we find only one course, and that is the fulfilment of the definition of design in man, eminent above all visible competition from any source, however intelligent, however imaginative, however gifted (cf. SMR p. 211, Deity and Design, Designation and Destiny Chs. 2 and 8).
Neither does ontology produce,
nor rationality deduce,
nor the empirical induce,
nor aetiology conduce to,
such a construction of thought
as unmade man, the peak of composition uncomposed,
nor yet to such a construction as man
arriving en scène, to inspect his place,
landing from the witless into this brilliantly composed
ingeniously integrated world with its commands visible,
inspectable, and its ways profound.
The imagination of man yaps, like a stray dog,
yes it shrieks like a drug addict in his delusions,
commanding that 'Nature' be womb for man.
In fantasy, dream determines to beget children,
where there is neither womb, nor any apparatus for reproduction,
It seeks with engines of thought
the children of desire;
but nothing comes, nothing is done,
for 'Nature' knows nothing of it,
nor co-operates to perform,
indeed to the point, it is barren as stone, unwitting as a tree.
Naturalism is dead, evolutionism rots. Who will bemoan her ?
It is God who lives, alone sufficient,
alone efficient, Maker of the invisible mind of man and of his invisible spirit
by which he can think delusively if he wills,
and soundly if he won't be misled.
It is God who exclusively is adequate,
while the miscreancies of man
merely minister to his death
by this abuse of the gift of life.
However, granted that man is a design, by definition of the term, and that one may ask the Maker for the reason for man's construction, and that the Maker has unequivocally and clearly, testably spoken (as is fitting for creations which can reason and check - why else make them so enabled ?) as to the point of the design, is it not merely what would one expect ? And what would one expect ? It is not that apparatus at this level of profundity in its creation, with so many subservient methods and pathways involved in the utmost intricacy of assembly line production and mathematical brilliance in miniaturisation, would be left to destroy itself by crankily failing to know what it is for. Would you endow a car with no knowledge and at the same time provide automatic steering by a non-map as reference point ? Would you not be insane!
Yet, except by wilful and individual pathology, man, the product, is not insane (cf. Bright Light Ch. 7). His works deployed exhibit an ability to apply purposive intelligence, to review it and to comprehend. Insanity ? insanity, it is something else! That too is simply a matter of definition which is a great way to avoid illogical slides, and one reason for using such devices, aids to reason, and enemies of delusion.
It is therefore to be expected that the REASON for man would be made known; and it has been made known from the first, and implemented in the coming of Christ, to the last, with all the items of HIS multi-millenial schedule, like those for the human body in the growing embryo, moving to its maturity. These similarly, with similar profundity of thought and openness to inspection, have been provided for in the text of the book of the Lord, the Bible (Isaiah 8:20), eminently testable, exclusively valid, so that this, man's purpose in design, this too may be found, just as man is found from the embryo.
Man actually comes; it is all programmed or provided for in myriads of ways; and Christ actually came, He was provided for in myriads of ways, in history, in prophecy, in testable data and detail, in power and in the results following such as this, that the Gospel to result was itself predicted (cf. SMR Ch. 9), and the world-wide coverage likewise.
Yet what was predicted was by no means all progression into fulfilment, for the world was subjected to judgment many a time* , in the flood, in this nation and in that, in Israel, in the Gentile world as now and in detail being fulfilled before our eyes, like the growing embryo. This organisation of predicted knowledge, however, it is as the body of history that it comes again to the eye (as shown in Answers to Questions Ch. 5 and SMR Ch. 8). Just as the embryo follows its WRITTEN pattern, before it arrives, so history, in Christ, and in our present world, this too arrives, fulfilling the written specifications of the prophets of the Lord; and the thing which is the finale, is the return of the Lord.
It is He, who once crucified, comes to be king; and in particular, this completes the paradigm, for the murder of the One to be sent as exemplar of LIFE, as PAYMENT for sin and as provider of PARDON, set to die when He did by the word of Daniel the prophet, this becomes the mastery of the endless Majesty which, where His subjects are willing (Psalm 110), and regenerated and recomposed, brings to them a peace endless beyond all our time, past all test. This too was foretold (Isaiah 2, 9:1-7, 11). It has begun now within; it will be accomplished then when the word written is completed in this finale.
Indeed, the good and the bad, the myths man would create of nature, and the byways he would follow to avoid God, all was foretold, right down to the present nature of massive mythology in naturalism, which works as well as any broken down car, its every essential point flouted by nature, which is not wiling to receive it (cf. SMR pp.140 -150, Joyful Jottings 8).
But what of the design called man ? His coding requires cogitation, for such is the nature of ORDERS in code for this and that to be DONE as required; his implementation of code requires sequence and materials to be provided in shrewd and exceedingly clever ways, so that it is a matter for wonder how it could have been done; which is again what you would expect, since man as a creature would naturally not be expected to be near his Creator in capacity; for it is one thing to MAKE, and another to be MADE! It is one thing to BE a car, and another to MAKE a car! For the latter, you need what a car does not at all have! It is the same with nature; it has no exhibits of what it takes to create universes or man; and none of the opportunities industriously supplied to it, to help it along a bit, have led to anything productive whatsoever. Cars need designers, not cars, to make them, in the end, when you think it all out, and consider ALL the input in the case.
Now if cars are demanding, and spacecraft (partly because of miniaturisation), then much more so is man in his construction. Logic knows no barriers, for where it fails, so does argumentation, and where it is excluded, the exclusion zealot is irrational, devoid of ground, an unreasoned relic. Thus, so far from this being a case of argument by analogy, it is argument by causation. If you require a given product , you need a sufficient cause for it; and if it involves the manipulation of codes in order to execute a stated plan, then you need whatever it is that has the exhibited power to make codes, and designs and for that matter, COMMANDS. Commands are correlative to purpose, purpose to thought and thought to personality at least.
There is both in the bodily programmatic precision and the mental integumental structure, formal logic as natural as the air; and liberty to ruin it is as near as laziness: not to mention the spiritual zest which lying latent or even dormant in many, is no more disturbed by factual need, than is the thought of some drug addict, hideously deluded.
Yet it is precisely this spiritual desire which enables mad-cap mentors to rule the minds of millions, and slaughter sundry other millions, in unstable efforts to make them SUBMIT as in Islam, or Heil Hitler as in Nazism, or Heil Man! as in humanism, or Heil Survival! as in evolutionism, and all have one thing in common. NOTHING happens but force, for neither wit nor wisdom is to be seen in any of it, for nothing stands to verification, nothing to analysis and nothing is the best result *2A.
If you hit something hard, you may break it, but then it is merely a remnant; and of course, you do not MAKE it! That is another phase of life altogether. Force without intelligence, whether in the imaginary construction of intelligence, or in the endeavour to persuade people of intelligence of the non-intelligence theories to 'account' for it, abstracting the very code of conversation from its aetiological validity, and indeed, by definition, any possible ground for validation (cf. SMR Ch. 3, TMR Ch. 5): this does not occasion design. Inability is not the source of ability, and irrelevance is not the basis for results, unless these too be irrelevant. For production of functionality, you need what it takes, not what by its inspectable and defined nature, lacks it. That is a riot of imagination, not a realism of method.
Even with force, you need its source (so that it has a relevant supply of energy), point of application so that it does what is needed, and does not destroy, sequence and subtlety of configuration, and with this, the things themselves to configure, with their orderly, unitary and cohesive ontologies, the power to dispose things, the code to impress itself in things, to make them what they are or to make them make what they are not (as in the embryo case). The provision for rubbing things out, unfortunately, no more writes them than does any other elimination program. Deletion is not creation, non-survival is not arrival, expression of a system is not some other system, except by imagination which, though fitting for the exciting realms of magic for little children, is nothing to do with the rationality of man or the reason for his being.
The witty inventions, the astute provisions, the methodological masterpiece production, these are to be found in the DNA, and their mathematical depth is what challenges and stirs the minds of the greatest of mathematicians, like Einstein, who mocked 'chance'. They are also however to be found in the word of the Maker, not only as inscribed IN His creation, as to their bodies in code*3, but addressed TO it in words, as to the mind of man!
That is what one would expect, and as always, what verifies the word and work of God, is what is found, and its abstraction or negation is what is not found. Consistency and harmony, verification on all sides is merely ONE of the criteria of truth; and in terms of scientific method, it is one which is ENTIRELY NECESSARY. It is not found elsewhere, and in naturalism, it is confounded by this very method on all sides (cf. *1 below, SMR pp. 140ff.).

It is great not to stay with Kant in his confusions about the knowable and the unknowable, exposed in Predestination and Freewill Section IV, and in SMR Ch. 5, and to have access to what is completely knowable knowledge, with no logical clashes or antinomies or antilogies*1A. It is when God speaks that this knowledge is obtainable and testable, showing its unique power and providence in both verification and validation which is quite unique*2, and unmatched in this world, as well as fulfilling*2A the call of the logic with which we are endowed, necessary for thought's operation.
