CHAPTER FIFTEEN
TRY MAKING MAN
LIKE MAKING THINGS ?
Try tackling the billions of cells in the brain, as an aide to action, a disposable asset for resolution, data bank, container unit, facilitator of function, the function being to provide formal channels for the pursuit of an ardent enquiry, rational investigation of rational material in or for which are found laws, universally applicable, rationally formulated, or internally applicable and materially operative from code. Consider your task, to make this thing, but more anon, including commands to make use of the laws, and layers of control to check application for them, as well as materiel to obey them. Try constructing these little things, with linguistic codes to command the particles, which are available as applicable, whether at the atomic, sub-atomic, molecular, bio-chemical or organic level, singly or in groups, whether relating to relay systems in the almost astronomically bonded and bounded cells, aapt for the sending and reception of symbolically expressed signals, whether these come from groups in organs, systems for groups, particles for systems, transportive systems for reportage, direction, confirmation and adjustment.
Try to make one of these brains, but of course it will not work alone. Try to make it in its site.
That is the very easy part - comparatively. That is merely a beginning. When you have ordered, and divided, and made the various particles ready for integrated circuitries and correlation with commands, and placed them in apt setting and sequence, so that these will not be mere tongue flappings, or squiggle assignations; and achieved the functionality of all the levels for example of neurons and dendrites and the elective and electrical symphony of hardware, so that they act with responsiveness to both laws and specific commands; and then enabled these to relay in abbreviated artistic brilliance of overall composition, so producing the marvellous miniaturisation which Denton assures us man is very far from being able to imitate (even with the example already before his eyes, and in his body!), then what ? Then the real troubles may be faced. Why ? It is because the concept is to set you this task, to see what you would seek to obtain in order to fulfil it, and this is preparatory.
That is the first step. But to be more realistic in accounting, you need to have NO articles, particles or space or time, for all that is simply being taken as GIVEN. Given ? Try calling 'giving' the answer to a mathematical problem. Zero is the rating for that kind of attainment. The point is to show the way to it, achieve it, not natter about it.
Do not forget, you are to consider yourself THERE, before man is made, but with nothing to hand, except what you can either make or deploy; and what may be deployed, has of course, to be made or found from a suitable source, not a magical mission field, as per the previous Chapter.
Now you begin to see the sophisticated wonder of having all the particles, of rising power and complexity, parts and programs, and of implementing them for the billions of integrated units in their various degrees of organic, organising and commanding, obeying and facilitating program, necessary for man. They are not to be assumed available from some nearby mobile planet, since there as yet neither space nor time, nor the provision of particles, nor plans for their arrangement, functional capacities, synthetic potential and commands. Such is the task.
So you try to gain the brain part, with a degree of soul-perplexing brow work, making cerebral sub-organs for the path, and integrating THESE, both for structure and function.
You do not have to do this. If you can FIND another way of doing this with the given result, why of course. No man seems to have done it recently or visibly, and nothing does not have the capacity, so to get the thing you are after, you need as in Ch. 14, to gain all the ultra-sophisticated wisdom and vision and understanding, savvy, penetration and understanding in the most intensive form. Then needing space and time, you need what is to fill these, or become viable in them, in the way of making a man.
TRY A NINNY MAKING THINGS ?
TOO HIGH ON THE NATURALISTIC BASE
YOU are still there in this challenge. Now, to be more realistic, try acting like a ninny, as if without such thoughtful powers, and you will gain only a non-est, a nothing, a testimonial to your oversight, which has involved omission of necessities for the task appointed. But a ninny is exalted compared with what is actually in order, when the task is left in actuality. What is present is not man, not the man you are trying to be in creating such a thing as ... man. It is void of wisdom, logic, things relating to and relying on each other for a reason, and logic knows nothing of its place there. You realise that you do not have to be there, plus nothing, to do this. You could try to think of some other way; but then as YOU are not really there, but were just facing this task to see what you would do, thinking is out of the question. It is just two steps. First, take the case where you have ONLY the powers that you have, plus nothing. Then make man. Do it now, without addition. Step two, do it without the powers you now have, which include a maestro setting of synthesised capacities.
If not, try having what works at each level and at all. Specify your requirements from space and time to order and law, to form and function, make a list, including the power to make matter in all its orderly domain, so that man can have his part from it, and then use reason to show why this would be adequate, and then to prove it, do it. It was not nothing, not unreason, not incapacity, not imperception, not inability which did it, because these things lack the power to do so, and the underlying means on which the power could work.
So don't bother. ALL that you would need is denied you; and then you yourself are brought out of the equation, since that is an EXAMPLE of all that has to be done, that is, the making of a man. You cannot logically expect to reconstruct things with the end already present! or with reason already present, or law or particle or code-making powers, or operative linguistic devices which command. So you go, that was just to try you out. Now you leave. Remember, you go and witlessness remains. But this too, it is a condition where mind is relevant, if largely dysfunctional, but that is begging the question. Nothing is not expansive. If there is nowhere to go, you go nowhere, and in this model, you in addition are not even there. The result is zero. However, we are not accounting for zero but with little experiments, for the world. Bogus ideas are not well received by logic, and irrationality as a model, excluding reason as valid, cannot argue, being defeated by SIW, as the army might say, the self-inflicted wound.
But this being the easy part, relatively, we come to the mental part. This is not susceptible to mere control, whether by direction, programmatics of ANY kind, direct or indirect, compulsive or canny; for then you do not gain the liberty of man to abuse his Maker, distort His dynamic, delete His significance, confuse His necessity, play with dysfunctional options in order to gain time and waste life, such as in the prerogative - though a costly one - that man has. Statistics as a base for determining which action to take merely enable a cover-up, for their overall basis for procedure incorporates your own choice, however indirect, of what is to be enumerated for outcome.
To be FREE to blast your every goodness, your best endowments, both physically and mentally, verbally and socially, indeed even politically and militarily has to be included in your making of a MAN, since he has and is infamous for his misuse of powers which, if misused, can be abused in these ways. True, it is not necessary to abuse the power of mankind in order to be man, but the other option, a freedom to receive and even delight in the functions as provided for operational felicity, this requires a liberty not masquerading as such, but marching in that manner.
Great is the provision of what IS programmed for man, and intensively brilliant are the provisions within these, as is now becoming better known, for groups of genes to act as optional activation units, in an analogy, as if you turned on or NOT, your air-conditioning. Functional groups are found to go together, whether activatable by smaller or greater stimulus of need, though there is nothing found to alter the larger KIND concept, just a magnitude life aids, to provide passage for EFFECTIVE adaptation of the type of life in view.
Equally, you need the equivalent of what will enable the correction of wayward misreadings of the actual orders when copied - including the minor variation limits - so that instead of the genome being riddled with errors, as increasingly now, it can last at least a few thousand years, which this marvel has already done. But where is liberty ? What is not programmed, direct or indirect in mode, relatable to this or that stimulus ? The power to criticise programs, imagine them, lie about them is not programmed, since it is available creatively on pondering along with the selection of values desired, and rising priorities and chosen negations. If it were, you could not know truth, nor would there be any, and you could not therefore with any rational ground formulate anything.
You can try doing all this differently, but the functional result it is your task to achieve. In fact, of course, it is achieved already by what did it. You are being asked to do it yourself, as an example, since man is a veritable mannequin, so often parading his so famous powers with a fatuity quite remarkable, since he did not make them, though most capable of deeming himself illustrious amidst the fallen prides of creation.
To reach that stage, then, even that, is RELATIVELY SIMPLE. But let the great man do it. He is so very sophisticated, and nothing is spared him in his exultation. It is so, that is, if you have the power to avoid what compels, to oversee what works, to categorise it in its actuality, and hence to know the absolute. If your model excludes this, then your position is a muddled morass of self-contradiction. The only other way to get it done, then, is to KNOW the One who DOES have the power, being the source of the creation in the first place, which could less make itself than you could, you plus nothing, and to ask Him to make man, and spirit, and truth, and logic, and liberty and program and to interweave them so that the purity of neither part of each pair is lost, so that function is fully achieved.
He however could say, I HAVE ALREADY MADE MAN. There is no need for another creation as yet, except in the heart of man (as in II Corinthians 5:17ff.).
The case in setting about making man, by a man, is worse. Not only would you have to found the way to make the universe, or at least man who lives in one, and make enough for him to live in it, but you would have SO to make HIS MIND that millenia of abuse in fallen ways and wanton disregard of many of his properties do not make marred pathways, jarring channels like blocked arteries, tilted pathways or defective ones, of function and desire. You would need to make him anew. God offers to do this (John 3, Titus 3). However the matter for man to do it, it is this which is under review.
The product must be free of such magnitudes of mismanagement and
psychic default. Even now, outside areas of wilfulness, rejection of reality and
dreamland, there are some areas which work splendidly. Spiritual space, if you
will, curves where the gravity of the situation warrants it. That is part of the
payment man makes for playing the fool; and even playing God, increasingly
popular, is work, not play, in addition to being ludicrous mathematically,
confusing the possessor of eternal infinity with the product with its
singular unity, called man.
MODEL OMISSIONS AND COMMISSIONS
Even at this, the case is still far short of need. The model was leaving God out, so we proceed.
In the endeavour to make man, DO IT, and not just talk, you must make him a spirit which is not self-contradictory in this, that is has the freedom to do all these things (however foolishly, but if it will), and which is not tilted by the very precipitateness of the past action of revolt and ruin, over the generations. If it is to be free, it cannot be systematically forced to follow a cultural, ideational, psychic or spiritual path, by mere apathy or disablement. If all were determined, then there would be no path for such free actions; but this being impossible, since constraint by a relativistic series of dynamics HAS no truth, nor any access, nor any place. The very statement of such a thing as truth here becomes antinomy, the model blasting its own conditions.
On this model, reactions are listable, but the pronouncement of reality is not available, since truth beyond what happens, requires being outside it, with logic and knowledge to characterise it. That is missing on the model, and hence the model misses even valid statement of what it is! What is able to present the nature of the listings, their force, limits, nature and in what they inhere and why and with what validity and so forth, is not incorporated. It is derivative from the Creator. Remove this and it is not there.
You know, at best on this model, what happens, and apart from inherently testable surmises, that is all. That is the absolute limit of the elimination of the absolute, not to exist.
What then ? Truth, as not available cannot include deterministic thought as the correct call, or any other idea, since either would require it to EXIST, contrary to the model. Moreover, even if it were found, confounding the model with alogism, it would have to be FOUND not distorted by the abuse of mind and body. The human genome is derailing slowly, through accumulated errors, as former Cornell University research worker, Professor J. C. Sanford has shown in his work, Genetic Entropy. Entropy not edification is the march, the Second Law of Thermodynamics, not the unknown law of formulating information and applying it with synthetic aptitude, without the use of intelligence. This is NOT a law. Its opposite bears that name. As Professor pointed out, evolution has no law. How could it ? It is not found in the crucial sense and setting of informational advance as such, in kind. It does not happen, or so present itself. It is never seen. Examples are not found. It is not occurring; only its past occurrence is attested. That however is attested in prodigious copiousness, man's information compartment, taking it analytically, receiving for normal performance, the equivalent of some 1000 encyclopedic volumes of meaningful text. It is so meaningful, that it gets things done; and that, as we are seeing is in itself a wonder and a work of profundity, like the mountains, the sky, the understanding.
Thus, what would be available even in type, is decaying, for not growth in greatness but the opposite is the law of nature, and what BUILT things into information is never now found doing so now, without intelligence. It takes conceptual work to do this, and concepts are not a part of matter, but mind. In this affair, the present is dumb; but the past is eloquent. You need what is not the present to get the present, and it comes as presented. The presentation expresses itself in the way normally used, to manifest the origin causally. God did not take out a promise that things in this universe would be eternal; but the opposite was affirmed, as in Isaiah 51:6, II Peter 2, Matthew 24:35. That is just the way it is. Trying extraneously to make it different is the acme of the unscientific, the peak of the irrational and the height of unwisdom. Why ? It excludes what history has included, and has no reason to back it, just the absence of requirements.
LIBERTY IS LOVELY,
THOUGH ITS USE IS NOT ALWAYS SO
As to liberty, in terms of origination and the naturalistic model, constraint by what is not there falls doubly: constraint is not liberty, and this constraint is not truth, nor even validly expressible as such.
Nevertheless, this tendency, by an elevated manner, to make a deterministic model shows just how far off is its centre, the ludicrous conception of what PRECISELY lacks all that is needed, being the assignable source. See on this Repent or Perish Ch. 7, Christ Incomparable ... Ch. 2. A very odd rigour of rule is to be found proceeding, in this imaginative poetry mistaken for science, from the absence of law, order, rule, from the vacuity of what lacks control. This is not 'mere imagination', it is if it were possible, intellectual chaos.
Some on the other hand, want to be autonomous in vile effrontery to the demonstrable limits of man in birth and death and equipment; and some want to be free from involvement, looking for some kind of government by unaccountable rigour. Extremes are normal in such model makings.
Law and freedom both exist, and they can be used simultaneously in different phases of total function. A piano has strong controls, programmed in effect, manufactured into it. It can respond, but it remains a piano unless broken. It can be played artistically, soulfully, inspiring the heart, without diminution of its fixities; and indeed, these present the options for liberty within its sphere.
Despite the horns of the false dilemma, then, freedom like law, is needed, with truth its buttress: thinking you are free does not make you so: freedom requires a spirit-making capacity which is sui generis. Thinking you are not free, equally, does not make you so, either; but the capacities shown are the attestation; and these include verifiable truth (when the model held in view does not exclude this in advance, so making the freedom to tell us the system mere illusion on any such basis).
Indeed, where exclusivistic presumptions militantly and reductionistically operate, whether in university or politics, freedom is fled, force is capitalised, and illusion rules. Man does not cease to have liberty because pain, prison or theft of his assets is done whether legally or illegally. In the last analysis, verification and validation*1, attest the effectiveness of reason and the reality of revelation and confirm its operation. Man is quite free to reject God, and God is quite free to pay for man's redemption, and having made use of that freedom, He has left man free to despise it. Man greatly uses this liberty, and then, seeking to avoid the necessity of the Eternal Energy and Mind, hopes not to be held responsible for his own actions. Yet he is then all the more so, being guilty of the conceptual murder of the only One who can give answers to reason, validity to logic and testimony to truth, in verification terms as an extra. In this, it is as if he were wearing a threadbare suit, when a regal garment meeting all need is available. Some even wish to throw ink on it; but it is not attainable, the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ being quite adequate for the taking of the guilt of believers, and the beauty of this production of salvation, is by the same power as made the creation, unreachable (cf. Galatians 1:6-9).
The weighting of argument, the exactions of logic, the confines of applied power, the deliberations, the reference to value standards (such as vary and are to be found, though often buried in rationalistic slush and slurry): all this must be allowed for, so that guilt may be proportionate and remorse given ground. Where is this to be found ? The MORE it is calculated to have to happen, the more the outside control. the more part of human life is deemed illusion in the reductionist fantasy. Freedom cries at guilt and aspires to select its criteria personally, whether to find the objective realit in God or the subjective promulgations from the heart of the evacuated self. But to dismiss prominent and at times dominant data on a vast KIND basis, is mere avoidance, baulking at the challenge.
Let it be repeated. If freedom itself is so imagined that the results have to happen, what makes it so manipulable ? and being manipulable, how is it freedom ? It is a product in which contrivance and intrusion are alike absent. Make it then! Let someone make it, and show the power of a non-spirit-making man so to act. Since however you are not God, you cannot do this; for we make ONLY what does not have to work, like dreams, and what is made to work. We are here concerned, however, with what ALREADY does work: selection, imagination, creation of ideational worlds, choice of priorities, reasons for choices, grounds for deliberation, things loved, hated, all chosen, and so forth.
What then of a man trying to make a free man, as an expressed item. For this, HOW it works and WHAT it works, we design and implement. To be free of our institution, it has to be free of us, which it cannot be, since the task here is to MAKE it. It is easy to wag a sleazy, lazy finger and imagine as if God, you could BRING it into existence. That requires a spirit-producing power.
We have spirit, we cannot make it. We cannot manufacture its parameters, reality, potential, powers. The more we work its parameters, the less it is free. It has to be free not to be determined by parameters, partly because the model on which it is to be made (suppositionally without God), HAS no truth in it and for it, so that what is made CANNOT live by choosing truth, reality, for it is not there. It is also partly because even if there were any, it COULD not be taken without personal import restrictions, partitions, prejudices and so forth, by the imperfect spirit of man, not to mention safe conduct from its Origin.
On this model, what you are, you are, and there is nothing above, just interaction. Interact away, then; and that is where it ends, including freedom and its very possibility, among the dead. But if you seek the living, do not look among the dead. That is the most superlative, erratic engulfment of all, the perfect oxymoron, the avenue of access to all the reductionistic surrealism of all such models. They try first to debase the actuality of this and that, such as mind, and then to explain what is now out of focus for investigation, in ludicrous short-circuits both of reason and of empirical data (cf. SMR Chs. 3, 4, 10).
It is not what your MIND creates in a disorderly universe without command or conception or mathematics or law or even existence, but what is THERE which on the one hand, has to be explained, and on the other, has to be held in focus. It is this which is in view. To start with nothing but yourself is hard; to do so without yourself is, if possible, harder, a hullabaloo of comedy; and a model of great appeal, to the heady and the headstrong, the irrationally defected in the case in view, by a reckless, feckless exercise in inaccurate treatment of the data, on the one hand, and illogical processing of it when it is ostensibly in view.
But neither can you make atoms out of nothing, nor molecules, nor their geometric undergirding, nor their spatial inter-relations, nor their electric aspects; and if you make them out of what is already gifted with law and order in some way, you are simply begging the question, in an ultimate series of law making, matter making, time making, space making, configuration making, language making, multiple command making, integrated command making items, all equipped in a logical system to which logic is deemed to apply. Yet the invention and presencing of logic is a basis excluded, a fortiori. That is not only order and law; it is a chief foundation for either. This is precisely begging the question, putting reason as a base. It is not nothing,
In addition, you require something to work with, from and to. The list continues.
THE PLACE OF REASON AND THE POWER OF GOD
Reason ? it can never justify the irrational, nor is the irrational examinable by it, except for irrelevance. Assume reason as an initial ingredient ? But this is again, merely begging the question at the underlying level, at the mode of action depth, thus adding to the rest of the works of imagination, fecund in feeling, but not grounded in reality, the basic premise of reason. Smuggling things in from the Necessary Eternal Energy and Mind is mere subterfuge, whether done episodically or in larger sweeps (as when drugs are brought in on one ship, or a thousand over a thousand years).
Whether this whole company of items is then invented and placed in the model serially in a monumental explanatory fraud, whatever the assumed mode of their introduction, or all at once, is an option. Nothing being unproductive, and relevant items being question begging on this model, a modish contemporary surrealism is dreamily popular. Dreams however do not create. They are in another realm. Bringing in bits is not empirical, some of the most advanced KINDS of cell being attested from the first of life. Moreover, what is a part of a whole not present, if brought in, endures under sufferance, so that as we know from experience, waiting things not self-sufficient, is mere waste. Life does not waste, and decay does not forget its task.
The other option is to have it all at once, so that every system is competent in terms of the totality of the rational whole, and it has an adequate basis: it is what ? It is creation by competence. This also fits with the information realities found and bound empirically in our code-invested, law constraining universe, whether in life with code or in the inanimate with law.
There is nothing visible on earth which has these capacities to call them into existence, and there are volumes of information which exhibit the past performance of such powers, so that information in its coding, conceptualisation, implementation of conceptualisation, cohesion and controls, concerns and construction for MEANING, in terms of what is meant by symbols, not only does not, but cannot come without intelligence at work with what it TAKES for the case in mind. Our own intelligence is neither relevant nor adequate. What then of this production of information, now free from production ?
It came in the past, for it is here. It does not, in the present, for this is not now in action at this level. Imagining food, for illustration, this does not create it. For that, you require a ground both actual and extant. It is rather like being a sentry, and when some body comes, you question it or him or her. Qui vive ? Who is it ? Identify yourself. Where are you from ? Why are you here ? are all necessary questions, in mind or on tongue or both. It is not a magical situation. It must come from somewhere, if a person, from a suitable site. Ignore this and you can be shot as lawless imported baggage. Dreamy magicians are not needed here; people with answers are, answers which do not evade but meet reason.
But we remind ourselves that at first we were making your task in making man too easy. We have assumed that YOU are there to try to do it, and that you must make a man. But that also is begging the question. In actuality, in the model in view, the irrational, the work of creative imagination (that is, the model itself), all props and helps are absent, means are absent, space is absent, logic is absent, power to think is absent, personality is absent, products of thought are absent. Nothing is all that is present, definably with no future POSSIBLE.
Be realistic. Now HAVE MAN MADE, since you are now being considered as a mere observer in time, not an agent in non-time, non-space, non-logic, yet one logically trying to work out how to make it happen, trying to envisage what preceded it. At once we have another contradiction in terms. Reason is out and you are using it! Always, what is needed is denied, but is used and the reality is confused; for without confusion, there is no way, except from the Eternal Energy and Mind of God.
It must have been made. Nothing but the All - Sufficient Eternal Being COULD have done it, instituting from sufficient power and prowess. The case is taken in detail in SMR Ch. 1. Try nothing in desperate search ? But this could not make it, since nothing makes nothing, has nothing, has no potential or time, place or space, existence; for the word signifies what is NOT.
Nothing however is not the empirically observable result.
Neither reason nor power could help you in the bogus model; when they do, they are already in place, the question begged, the need assumed met; and the problem is not then simply how to put them there, but it lies rather in facing the necessities of creation, from the competent source, eternal and capable of all, the Entity of Everlasting Energy and Capacity (cf. Department of Bible ... Vol. 3, Ch. 5 ). But this is no problem, only the minimal, logical necessity. God has made us free to dispense with it, in entangling morasses of invalidity and anti-verification. That, it is liberty indeed, exercised as if life depended on it in the clutter of vying and often dying cultures.
Avoiding creation and the Creator, the source and centre of what is told man, is almost like avoiding flesh for a baby. The thing is so ludicrous that it is like giving a child a dummy but not care, food for thought but no food, stroking for whimpers but no check-out. You either have nothing, or something at the first, The something is either adequate or not. If it is adequate it has to enshrine all the powers in view. It does. It is named God. It is found where advertised for several millenia, where both validated and verified*1.
It is a pandemic; but many are not taken. Few escape, but some do (Matthew 7:15ff.). It is great to escape it, and greater to find the Deliverance of Deity in the Gospel of grace, since it is not to man that man needs to look, man with his own sins and limits and lore and cultural enthusiasms, this way and that, imperfect and competitive, but to what is beyond him in purity and incorruptibility, in knowledge and wisdom, in kindness and right, in authority and reason. THAT, it IS an escape (Hebrews 6:19). He has made Himself known for so long in so much to so many with such grounds so often found, that even long ago, He exclaimed (Isaiah 48:16):
"Come near to Me, hear this:
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord GOD has sent Me."
Again in 48:18: "Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. "
The due relationship is still available as in Matthew 11:27-30.
Your Maker is the Saviour as in 48:16, Colossians 1:15-23. It is unavoidable that He is your Maker; but very avoidable if He is to be your Saviour. Such people were most clear-cut in their negativity in the day of Stephen the martyr, of whom he declared: "You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears. You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you."
It is resist or rest.

These show that irrationality if taken as a model item, invalidates all argument from the one so inventing.
Rationality, on the other hand, is shown to require God.
It is discovered on investigation, that the Bible alone meets the logical, historical and scientific requirements for validation of the testing work of reason. But it does meet them.
This validates the use of reason, in terms of its result, that is, where it leads and what that exhibits; while confirmed empirical realities found in the text, without fail, verify what is verifiable in kind. It is found in these pages that search as you will, problems of principle and logic are solved, questions are answered, absurdities in false religion are removed, the irrational is exposed and the power of God to talk to man is confirmed. Paul speaks of the defence and confirmation of the Gospel (Philippians 1:7). That is the rope which may pull man up; it is God who does the hauling for those who take that rope, by faith (cf. Isaiah 22:8-14, John 1:12).
Much is so verifiable in this, the written word of God. It never fails. That is the quality. The portents of the Bible include prediction and retrodiction; for millenia efforts to show this wrong have been shown wrong, and at times, incredibly naive, without understanding. This too verifies the testable truth of what God has said. The assertions made in this do these fail, where investigation is thorough and stateable. Indeed, beyond the universe, overview is provided, and the power of the reason which comes with the package of man, is asserted in the Bible. Let us REASON together, the Lord declares, while in Isaiah 41,43, 48 He calls for CHECK-OUT. Compare and find answer, He declares. Walk with the evidence attested.
This divine testimony concerns what is found in the universe, the actual happenings, beyond the variabilities of man's thought, but in that to which His thought applies, namely the time-space one in which events in our era occur, from the first array to the last. judgment and its grounds. From the Everlasting God, it reveals both the need for, and the point, power, purpose and crucial foci and features of salvation, its nexus in Jesus Christ, with the vast depth of testable data concerning Him. Failure in any of these prescriptions for action and meaning would have shown both Him and this same word not to be of God. Hence these He remorselessly fulfilled, whether in His arrival, works or death, its reason, its occasion, its date (Christ, the Citadel Ch. 2) and its rupture in the resurrection, pending His return to come, once the application of the Gospel of salvation has been effective to all nations.
What man can know, God confirms (Romans 1), and what mankind is not able to know (I Corinthians 2:9-13), He tells, so confirming His mastery of man, launching what He understands, and understanding what He launches, with the instructions which are needed by the most brilliantly applied mathematics, engineering, code work in scope, the most remarkable integration of powers and functions to be found on this earth.
